Weed'em & Reap Garden meeting this Friday at NEW LOCATION!Posted Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at 11:31 AM
Pat Bolin won this hardcover book at our last meeting
We will be in the back, left meeting room and eating is not a requirement, so come full or empty. We will be drawing for two houseplants at the next meeting. I will include a picture in a few days. But speaking of pictures, we put in the last winner (Pat Bolin)of a hardcover book worth $21.95. So far, this rain looks great! Slow, relatively even rain. I priced my straw bales last week. Ouch! I like to support farmers but over $4 a bale makes it tough to try my new raised bed idea. It will take at least 15 bales and I am too tight to turn loose of $60+. FINALLY, my Cypress vine is flowering! Not as many as last year but at least they are there. |
Steve Mills and his wife have one daughter and live on a farm outside of Bell Buckle. They previously owned two coffee/ice cream shops, currently operate an internet sales company and teach classes, but his primary job involves the paper industry worldwide. Hobbies and interests lie in gardening, photography, recorded music and of course, their pets.
Hot topics My peas are looking great, numerous flowers, but no peas!(3 ~ 7:55 PM, May 17)
Reality shows, thumbs up or down?
Are we done with this roller coaster temps? Garden tidbits.
Request to explore Bell Buckle's past.
