Question about our Garden Club Meeting and one of our own gets international notorietyPosted Thursday, November 5, 2009, at 7:44 PM
First, do you remember photos we posted of Jere's garden on our web page? Well she submitted some of those to growveg.com and got Tennessee some gardening exposure. You will see hers on the second garden on the page. http://www.growveg.com/gallery.aspx
Now a question about our meeting schedule. Fridays have become tough to attend for those with young people competing in school athletics or bands, or other special events. Since we meet every other week, what do you think about alternating Fridays and Saturdays?
This next one was scheduled for Friday November 13, but what if we moved it to Saturday the 14th. Then we might want to skip Thanksgiving weekend and meet again on Friday December 4th, then Saturday the 19th. Wow! That brings us to the New Year 2010!
We might skip over the Holidays and meet again on Friday January 8th. What are your thoughts? If you want to vote privately, send me an e-mail. Steve@mybedfordcounty.com
To help keep it straight, I could post a calendar on our web page, but you need to help me keep it current. I get distracted at times.
