UPDATED THEY"RE BACK! 3 cats are missing and another is hurt.

Posted Friday, November 6, 2009, at 11:13 AM

At feeding time this morning only two showed up, Then slowly the white,Siamese-like male limped over. Not a good sign. I could not se any bleeding but he was favoring a back leg.

If anyone has adopted cats on Millhouse road this morning, please let us know. We would be ecstatic if that is the case, but with the big male limping we fear the worst.

I heard a something yapping like a dog does when he sees a squirrel in the tree and can't get to it, so I walked our back 50 acres to see if I could find one cornered. Got some great exercise since we have hills going up at 45 degree angles, but no cats.

Hope you find them now i am worried about the one with the hurt leg especially with no where for shelter. Humane Assoc. may have a dog house they will give you to put out there for them to get in.Keep your readers updated.

They were gone all day, but showed up late! They did not give any accounting for their absence but it sure was good to see them. I would assume that they were together, since they seemed to show up at the same time.

I got a closer look at Blue-eyes and his tail is skinned as well. Even though he still limps, he can move if he has to because as he was crossing the road, a car came and he ran quite well.

I noticed that Sable seems to have ear mites. He is not scratching, but there are dark deposits inside his ears. He won't let me check without a fight, so it can wait.
