Faithful readers send pictures of amazing craftsmanshipPosted Thursday, November 12, 2009, at 2:35 PM
Edgar and Renee keep tabs on us here in Bedford County and when they find something irresistible, they send me the info. Since they know I love nature and animals the following artist was a sure thing.
Richard Carpenter's work can be found several places on the web but this website had super macro photography of nature as well, so I chose this link for your viewing pleasure. http://www.whereartmeetstheheart.com/ric... Be sure to click on "more details" under the picture labeled "Mountain Magic" Thanks Edgar & Renee Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |
Steve Mills and his wife have one daughter and live on a farm outside of Bell Buckle. They previously owned two coffee/ice cream shops, currently operate an internet sales company and teach classes, but his primary job involves the paper industry worldwide. Hobbies and interests lie in gardening, photography, recorded music and of course, their pets.

That is amazing!
Oh if I could only have such talent, but then again, I am not sure I am using the talents I have to full advantage, so....
What amazing talents and abilities! I can't draw a straight line without a ruler.
Steve, I don't know if Ed can draw a straight line but he can sure cut one with a steel graver tool.
Has anyone seen a local artist's work? Pat Harris has done some work for us and she is amazing. She paints on leaves, feathers, ceramic tiles etc. I would post one of her paintings but don't know how.
Send a few to me cherokee2. I will post them on our garden web page and put a link in a blog. Just make sure Pat is OK with that since I can not protect her picture.
Those pictures are amazing. I just received my macro lens and am still trying to figure the darn thing out! I wish there was a local gallery that would feature "local" art whether it be photography or whatnot maybe on consignment. I've taken several beautiful waterfall pictures around the area...one of these days I'll get a website up. :)
