Impressive Business After HoursPosted Friday, February 26, 2010, at 7:32 AM
Last night was great. Sound like water cooler chat about a big date? Well, kind of, but this one was more on the business side. If you were at the first Business After Hours you know what I am talking about.
We saw friends and associates that we have not seen in a while and met a number of new folks. Shelbyville may be small to some, but it has grown bigger than I can handle when it comes to knowing my neighbors in the business community. Last night was a great start back.
Besides having delicious food and great facilities, Heritage Medical Center staff sure put out the welcome mat. We even got to see the "doctor's lounge" when we stored our coats. Always wondered what that might look like.
Hearing their plans for doctors, services and technology coming in the next few months was amazing and impressive. I can see a lot less need to go out of town.
Congratulations BAH committee and Heritage. You had a super kick-off event.
