Middle Tennessee Business Networking, 8:00 A.M. Thursday (tomorrow)

Last week's Middle Tennessee Business Network meeting had both energetic and informative presentations. Jennifer gave us examples of how we as adults tend to look at the negatives of a situation while a child often sees the positives. Instead of seeing a problem moving nails from the wrong spot, a positive outlook sees the opportunity to use the claw side of the hammer.

Marsha explained some finer points about her craft of designing advertising art, jpegs and fonts. Having the art saved in as "vector" art will help preserve the accuracy of reproduction, saving jpeg pictures multiple times loses crispness, and if you pay for art to be drawn, it is YOUR art and you have a right to get a copy of it for your files to be used again and again. I moved all my printing from a printer in Murfreesboro for that exact reason.

Come visit with us tomorrow morning (Thursday) at the Shelbyville Parks & Recreation Center. We have a bright sign on the outside door to come in and we always like to see new faces. Not that the old ones are ....maybe I better stop. Anyway, we start at 8:00 AM sharp and end one hour later. We are always free to hang around and chat but the formal side of the meeting always ends on time.
