Who left the refrigerator door open?

Posted Friday, April 9, 2010, at 8:33 AM

It was downright chilly out there this morning. I brought all my tender potted plants back in for the next two days, but I will probably protect the fig trees from frost, just in case. I should not get it here on the hill, but.....

Someone helped me years ago put a spell checker on this blog. I have a new Windows 7 machine and forgot how to doit. Are you out there still? (I know you are, but not sure if you read my garden comments)

I often write this in a writing program, beacuse my fat fingers can often do a real slaughter on my words, but short notes like this, I have come to rely on the built in checker.

Of coursem one of our cats, Sammy, likes to type too, so if I do not see him on the keyboard, I see his hard work underlined in red.

I just wanted to say thank you very much for your advice w/ the cat. We succesfully caught him and noone was harmed. (Thankfully, his claws didn't quite catch me) We loaded him and his have a heart enclousure up and hauled him to my mom's house. Where he's in a cage still, waiting his appt w/ the Murfressburro Animal Hospital, to change his life forever. (Neutering). I do believe if he knew what we're planning to do with him, he'd be much more upset then he is as of now. But hey, what he doesn't know won't hurt him. Anyway thank you very much. Keep up the good work, both on the paper and the gardening and helping out stray animals. :) Bye.
