Wow! Today is a big networking day!

Posted Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at 4:57 PM

It starts out with the Middle Tennessee Business Network (MTBN) meeting at 8:00 A.M. at the Parks and Recreation Center. One quick hour of meeting your fellow merchants and local business folks. I've seen the power of these meetings and while I have out-of-pocket a few times, if I am anywhere close, I attend.

My apologies to Gaye Corwin and especially Richard Ward of Meramak Credit Card Services. He gave us a lot to think about regarding safe credit card transactions and I lost his photo. I planned on using it in this post and I CAN'T FIND IT in my computer. I saw it just a few days ago but my nimble fingers must have zapped him or my numb mind is not working well enough to locate the picture.

Then at 5:00 P.M. we have the 'Business After Hours' hosted by The Walking Horse Hotel in whe3re else, Wartrace, Tennessee. 5:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. If you get to Wartrace and can't find it be sure to have a bright yellow flag on you car, so we can be sure to drive far away from you.

Thursday was indeed a busy networking day. Some great presentations at the MTBN as well as brainstorming for promotional ideas, advertising, internet use, etc.

I had not been in the Wartrace Walking Horse Hotel in a long, long time. That back music room is quite nice and the hotel is being taken care of nicely.
