Community Outreach Partnership of Bedford County COPBC needs diapersPosted Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at 1:46 PM
The first time I heard of these folks was in an article by Mary Reeves two Sunday's ago. Since that time, I have had some other e-mails correspondence with them and I thought a blog might help them some more.
Their new thrift store should be open by now so be sure to check it out. I believe all the details are in Mary's article. It is in print and on the web site. If you have extra diapers be sure to run them by. Maybe pick up an extra pack at the store. Those little fannies could use a break. ( that's not to risque, is it?) We also desperately need food. Everyone's food banks are down, as is ours and the need is very high, especially after the floods in Nashville as people have moved into our area..
Mary's article http://www.t-g.com/story/1640368.html has the details but could you tell us here where and when items can be delivered?
Also, do you have refrigeration or should all the goods be packaged? We have some gardeners who might want to share fresh produce.
