Questions for the medically oriented.Posted Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at 9:10 AM
First let me say that these have nothing to do with any Shelbyville physician.
An acquaintance of ours went to an Ear Nose and Throat doctor in the Boro for a follow-up on an ear infection. They came back with medicine for acid reflux and NO comment about the ears. What the heck?
We got an e-mail this morning that a family member in Texas is getting out of the hospital after being diagnosed with a fractured middle finger. He went in for both hands swelling and hurting so much that he could not open a can of food.
How does a fracture on one hand make both swell? Does it trigger the immune system or make arthritis flare up, or??
