Winter lettuce seedlings looking for a welcoming garden.Posted Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at 8:34 PM
Espoontoon has had a bumper crop of winter lettuce seedlings and needs the tray for more starts. Anyone interested should respond here.
They need to be replanted soon, since they don't do as well in temps above 80 degrees without a lot of watering. If he does not hear from someone within a few days, they will have to go into the compost pile, so speak up. You do not have to be a member of the garden club so don't hold back. Sounds like it worked out well. Now I need to move to match-making. Well....maybe not.
The lettuce is looking good- no wilting yet and I planted them on the 6th.
Kathy took some and said she'd bring me some giant tomato plants since I can't find my seeds-thank you!
I'm getting rid of the rest today...
Thanks for posting this Steve!
Ummm. I think I'll be going to Shelbyville today-not sure...
Kathy-I'll call you.
If espoontoon does not respond today, I will get in touch with him. Thanks.
I would like a few please. 680-9566 ask for Kathy
Sure, I'd like to try a few.
