Hummingbird feeders out? What are you planting?Posted Saturday, April 9, 2011, at 8:05 PM
The hummingbirds seemed late this year. I put our feeder up a while back but they just started showing up yesterday. Anyone else notice this?
Besides garlic planted last fall and some perennial herbs I have little to nothing in my garden this spring. I planted a few sugar snap peas and they germinated sparsely, so no bumper crop there.
I have been bouncing around like a ping pong ball this Spring, plus cutting firewood almost every evening because we have been having our woods logged and there are boocoo tops available to clean up. May go into the firewood business this year.
Have some tomato plants to get out and will plant edamame soybeans big time, but not much else planned. Beets did not germinate at all, or they went on vacation, not sure which.
What are you planting?
