Next Weed'em & Reap coming up! What do YOU want to talk about?Posted Sunday, April 10, 2011, at 10:32 AM
Our next Weed'em & Reap garden club meeting will be this next Friday, April 15th at 7:00 P.M. It will be held at the New Century Chinese Restaurant 510 Madison Street, in Shelbyville.
We usually have enough to discuss about our own gardens this time of year, but if you have something specific you want to be sure is discussed, drop me a note Steve@bedfordtradingpost.com or write back here. Comments Showing most recent comments first [Show in chronological order instead] |

They previously owned two coffee/ice cream shops, currently operate an internet sales company and teach classes, but his primary job involves the paper industry worldwide. I'll put a presentation together espoontoon. Thanks.
Did we ever talk about companion planting? Maybe I missed that one.
It may be good to start talking about plant pests and diseases. I noticed that any established hollihocks that are around here, have that fungus on them already.....
I really need to do a soil test this spring. I have been operating about 5 years now without one and while I think I have been doing good, it would be even better to KNOW.
The UT Extension service has soil test boxes ready to help you out, instructions included! Who needs instructions? Just dig some dirt.
Well..., it is not tough, but if you want the best analysis, there are a few things you can do to make it better. If you have gardens separated with different soil conditions, maybe consider a test for each area.
