I almost feel like a proud parent again. (garden speaking)Posted Friday, May 27, 2011, at 10:04 AM
Onions seeds starting to open.
She has had a houseplant but she got some peat pellets and a miniature greenhouse to start her seeds and wants to try vegetable and herbs. GREAT! Of course I have a spare tomato plant, some herb plants and seeds so the process has begun to give birth to a new gardener and I couldn't be more proud. By the way, I have not forgotten the Egyptian walking onion pictures you sent me.;-) Should get them up this weekend. Did you get the one I brought over to Bell Buckle?
I did not know it had arrived. Will pick up today.
I was out of town all week so I had not stopped by to get a cup of "joe".
Wow cherokee2. What an onion!
When I walked in the shop and started to mention the onion, I was surprised by their eyes rolling. I never expected to find a small tree in a gallon+ size container!
We took some other pictures and I will get them all up on a web page this week.
