I almost feel like a proud parent again. (garden speaking)

Onions seeds starting to open.

This week our daughter contacted me to see if I had any seeds or plants she could have to start a small garden at her apartment. Now that may seem a small thing, but to an avid gardener it means I have given some of that passion to our daughter and I look forward to helping it "blossom and grow".

She has had a houseplant but she got some peat pellets and a miniature greenhouse to start her seeds and wants to try vegetable and herbs. GREAT!

Of course I have a spare tomato plant, some herb plants and seeds so the process has begun to give birth to a new gardener and I couldn't be more proud.

By the way, I have not forgotten the Egyptian walking onion pictures you sent me.;-) Should get them up this weekend.

I did not know it had arrived. Will pick up today.

I was out of town all week so I had not stopped by to get a cup of "joe".

Wow cherokee2. What an onion!

When I walked in the shop and started to mention the onion, I was surprised by their eyes rolling. I never expected to find a small tree in a gallon+ size container!

We took some other pictures and I will get them all up on a web page this week.

Steve Mills and his wife have one daughter and live on a farm outside of Bell Buckle. They previously owned two coffee/ice cream shops, currently operate an internet sales company and teach classes, but his primary job involves the paper industry worldwide.
