Talk about a commuity getting together, check this out.Posted Monday, May 30, 2011, at 9:33 AM
Grand Rapids, Michigan has had it tough breaks with companies shutting down and the economy suffering. They recently made a top ten list of dying cities and decided to let people know they are still alive and don't plan on going away.
They put together this video just under 10 minutes to the music of Don McLean's "American Pie" to show their community's spirit, tenacity, creativeness, etc. It was apparently shot all at one tie, with no edits, so as you watch this, keep that in mind. This by itself was pretty amazing, along with choreographing marching bands, football players, emergency vehicles, plus much, much more. Steve Mills and his wife have one daughter and live on a farm outside of Bell Buckle. They previously owned two coffee/ice cream shops, currently operate an internet sales company and teach classes, but his primary job involves the paper industry worldwide. Hobbies and interests lie in gardening, photography, recorded music and of course, their pets.

Yeah, I really loved this video too and the sense of community and brotherly love that it inspires.
Awesome video! I watched it three times. I especially liked the pillow fight and nerf guns. Thanks for posting it.
I saw this yesterday. It really is remarkable.
