Talk about a commuity getting together, check this out.Posted Monday, May 30, 2011, at 9:33 AM
Grand Rapids, Michigan has had it tough breaks with companies shutting down and the economy suffering. They recently made a top ten list of dying cities and decided to let people know they are still alive and don't plan on going away.
They put together this video just under 10 minutes to the music of Don McLean's "American Pie" to show their community's spirit, tenacity, creativeness, etc.
It was apparently shot all at one tie, with no edits, so as you watch this, keep that in mind. This by itself was pretty amazing, along with choreographing marching bands, football players, emergency vehicles, plus much, much more.
