The garden club meets this very night, June 10th. Take a break from the heat.

Surely you have enjoyed enough of this heat to enjoy a "refrigerated air" break at our Weed'em & Reap meeting.

We will probably go to the once a month format for the rest of the summer, so don't let one meeting slide by. I say probably because we are not big on rules and regulations so things could change at any one meeting.

Oh, in case your don't know where, it is at the New Century Chinese Restaurant in Shelbyville. We start at 7:00.

My first thought is blossom end rot which is usually a calcium deficiency but why it is not getting calcium could be another issue.

It is probably affect more than just you so I will start a new blog on it to see if others want to contribute.

Novice gardener with a question. My tomato's are trying to rot on the vine, from the bottom of the tomato. The plants look healthy and so do my tomato's as a whole. What do I need to do to keep them from doing this?

The meeting was very enjoyable. I'm passing on some of the walking onions Cherokee brought and also dividing the peace lily I received from another.

Well, there you go, it was a successful meeting and we appreciate all who showed up and the freebies.

I have a little research to do with that plant you brought in. I'll let you know when I succeed or fail.

Remember I said things could change? We had so much fin last night that no one wanted to shift to monthly yet, sooo, we meet in two weeks.
