Spooky new phone or Spooky NFL?

Posted Saturday, August 20, 2011, at 12:23 PM

Either way, I had an interesting experience this morning.

I admit, getting around a new phone can be intimidating for me and I usually get it to do things I do not plan to do, like open the stock market listings 3 times in a row, when I have no intention of looking at it, nor even knew I has such an app.

I pulled the phone out of my pocket this morning and after unlocking it my "note pad" came up. OK, maybe I was looking at it last night but three letters were spelled om there that I did not out there, or at least not consciously.

NFL. Now I admit, I follow the Titans, but I was not thinking of them and in fact, I would have been thinning college football on Saturday or getting Cascade's results from last night. (they won by the way and I believe so did Shelbyville)

Anyway, why was NFL on there? Oh right, the pre-season games are coming on at all different times on different channels. Guess I should check when the next Titans game is on. Yup, tonight at 7:00.

Without this strange little message coming up, I would have not thought about it and probably would have missed at least half the game. Hmmmm, spooky.

You better keep an eye on that one Steve!

I read where Hillary Clinton is teaching the Muslims an Arabs how to use the internet that the US Taxpayers has paid for including the computers.

My guess is so the US can spy on all the Arabs and Muslims like they do with the Americans on cellphones and internet.

I usually have files deleted but no notes to read. I do hear a voice now and then that tells me my computer has been updated.

I have to wonder just how un-dated is my new computer? If it is updated every few days it must be a piece of _ _ _ _.

I wonder just how much Windows Vista has to do with it?

I think they keep updating the software to keep ahead of the "bad guys". PLus, they learn more about a particular feature they put into it and feel it neds adjustment. Could be some job justification, but...

If my spyware and virus checker does not update each date, the computer considers it out-of-date.
