What do you suppose eBay's motivation is for the 1 cent auctions?Posted Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at 11:02 PM
I am curious what you think might be eBay's reasons for running 1 cent sales on auction listings. They have done it three times lately (usually with just overnight notice).
At first I thought they were wanting to bolster auction sales, but with the short notices I wonder if they are trying to limit how many you can get on. Is it just to get attention or....?
Using Turbo Lister we were able to get a little over 100 on last time and this time 116. That means we saved almost $28 in listing fees, so it was worth a shot.
Any thoughts or opinions?
