If you are in the Bell Buckle area tomorrow, Wednesday, 11-23-11Posted Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at 11:14 AM
Just in case you do not see it in the paper before it happens, I did not want anyone to get worried. We received this notice from the BB Town Hall today and we appreciate it.
"The Webb School will be testing their new emergency siren on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 between the hours of 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. If you have any questions, please as always feel free to call us at Town Hall. This is only a test." Maybe it will motivate some of their students to walk across the road with purpose and be considerate of drivers who have stopped to let them safely cross!! Steve Mills and his wife have one daughter and live on a farm outside of Bell Buckle. They previously owned two coffee/ice cream shops, currently operate an internet sales company and teach classes, but his primary job involves the paper industry worldwide. Hobbies and interests lie in gardening, photography, recorded music and of course, their pets.

I hope Webb teachers discuss courtesy with their little darlin's.
It is probably a 50/50 mix of those students who acknowledge our stopping with a wave or nod and those who could care less that we are waiting patiently for them to get their behinds off the road.
So, they are not all horse's patoots.
Amen to the students paying attention. It's so obnoxious when you can tell it's deliberate! We sure didn't get a notice, so thanks for the heads up...although we may be headed out of town by then, depending on how fast we get moving in the morning.
