Apparently it is not limited to tomatoes, but other crops are either more challenging or not as high value.
While I did not see a discussion of grafting different varieties on the same plant, I suppose it is feasible, but maybe not practical since each stem has to be the same diameter and it appears these clips would not support anything except straight up grafts.
