Tim Tebow mania is probably giving many indigestion.

Why? Because so many of the talking-head experts had ruled him out from the very beginning. He could not throw his ball right, he would be eaten up by pro defenses, he holds the ball too long, etc., etc.

Well, he and the Denver Broncos HAVE survived and made it to the playoffs AND now the second round of the playoffs. "But it was a miracle pass play that saved him last game".

I seem to remember the Broncos ahead most of the game. I can also recall many a "golden" quarterback who has survived with "Hail Mary" plays, so....why is Tebow made fun of, written off as just lucky, etc.?

I have some thoughts but maybe someone out in cyberspace has some as well so, why?

A second thought about Tebow. I do not watch many of his interviews so things may have changed, but the main thing I noticed originally was how much he gave credit to the TEAM for making plays and winning games.

Is that still continuing? The sportscasters probably keep trying to get him to "toot his horn". Has that finally won out or does he still give credit where it is due.

Of course, the way the game is going tonight, they may not have him to pick on until next season.

As a Christian, I find it a very positive place for Tim Tebow to be at this time in his life. Just think how many people will see his behavior and realize being a Chrsitian is a 'good' thing. I'm sure he is not "the only one" in pro football / He is however, one of the few who is not ashamed at any time to express his views. He is such a positive roll model for many ages.

I find it interesting how reporters, late night talk show host, comedians etc. get away with basically mocking Tim Tebow's praying, which they have dubbed "Tebowing". Tim Tebow is a very outspoken Christian and the mockery that is shown by the media and others would not be tolerated if it were against any other religion or against someones race!

Tim Tebow has yet to shoot up a nightclub full of strippers, beat up a woman, gotten a DUI or drug charge, nor has he been cruel to animals. He's a Christian and not ashamed to display his love of God. Surely one of "those people" couldn't actually play football...could they?

I find Tim Tebow a refreshing change although he's not a top pro quarterback at this time.
