Recent boost of referrals from eBay for Trading Assistants

Posted Monday, May 7, 2012, at 9:40 AM

We do not actively promote being a Trading Assistant anymore, because we have too much to sell already and not enough time.

However, the leads keep coming and the past 3 weeks have averaged 2 a week. Has anyone seen ads promoting the TA program or are people just needing to sell their things?

They have ranged from Waterford Crystal, porcelain dolls, espresso equipment, Thomas Kinkade ornaments, store merchandise and even a collection of Playboy trading cards. (I never knew they had trading cards?)

They've probably tried to sell it themselves on eBay and did not get even a viewer, let alone a sale. eBay is no longer the place for selling your surplus junk ...

And, just for a laugh then, some comment on PayPal's off-eBay products: "The New Way To Pay In-Store" (at Home Depot), PayPal Here, SmartPay, PayPal Digital Wallet, PayPal Debit MasterCard, PayPal Local and Watch With eBay ...

I hate to keep turning people down but most of my contacts are brand new sellers and I can't in good conscience, I cannot refer people to them yet.
