No burn ban, no water rationing? What are we waiting for?Posted Sunday, July 1, 2012, at 8:46 AM
I realize that a few of you have been blessed with local rain that we have not see up here on the hill, but this heat and dry spell should have triggered both a burn ban and water rationing by now. Our lawn, comprised mostly of native plants (weeds to most)is crunchy under foot.
Are our lake and river levels so good that there is no shortage concerns? Does someone know of weather patterns about to change?
