Seed swapping! Learning about wintersowing, the easiest technique to start plants from seed! Potluck lunch! Lots of fun, come join us!

January and February are some of the best months to get a jump on this year's gardening season by doing a little Wintersowing! So I decided to have a potluck and a party! Everyone is invited, even if all you want to do is catch up, chat and eat:)

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY SEEDS: Come on anyway! Many of us have an abundance of seeds (especially cosmos and zinnias) that we will happily share for free!

Itinerary:

10:00 Early set up for folks like me who have way too many seeds:)

11:00 Official start, set up; potluck begins soon after

11:30 We had better be eating by now!

12:00 Brief wintersowing tutorial

12:30 Seed swaps, and container prep

Yeah, my student, who is outside M'boro, asked to move his class to late afternoon, so I may actually be able to stop by to meet & greet.

Sorry QC, I have a 4 hour private class on the other end of the trip so it would not work well to take you one way and not the other. Does not look like a good day to hitchhike.

I already have a commitment for the weekend, so not me. But I would have liked to!

Is anyone from here going to this event? I can supply gas and pot luck for a car pool. (Gas is from service station pumps-not from the refreshments.)
