  • I think he was medicated today. He needs to listen to our allies and his Generals, but I forgot he knows more than the Generals.Everybody else knows Iran is keeping their part of the bargain but him.But what can you expect when he said today that he talked with the president of the US Virgin Islands. It's on tape but he will call it fake news after someone tells the idiot that he is their president. His legacy will be to undo anything Obama did whether it helps americans or not because he does not care as long as it was not his idea.

  • Let's be Real,

And on that note, all I can say is Amen, Amen, Amen. President Trump has indeed created the atmosphere we are now seeing, too much bullying and not keeping his word. All I can say on this one is, I'm praying the U.S. does not have to deal with a nuke coming our way because of this type of narcissistic attitude.

  • What I heard was President Trump paint a black line over top of the red line that Obama painted.

The UN is not allowed to inspect the Military bases where these nukes would be built or stored. That is a violation of Obama's Contract.

No one seems to know what to do.

If someone like North Korea can have Hydrogen Bombs on IBMs and shoot them over other countries, why the hell should Iran listen to Trump or anyone else?

Trump will have to make an example out of NK in order to get Iran's attention. Nothing short of destroying NK will make any difference in the way Iran thinks. But then, the American idiots won't allow Trump to stop the violence.

It has been said that the United States owns the United Nations. It is a fact that in 1945 Congress gave every United States Government Agency over to the United Nations. That plainly means that the United Nations owns the Corporate United States and all the corporate agencies. The Legislative Branch, The Executive Branch and the Judicial Branch of government is now owned by the United Nations, which doesn't have the balls to do it's own job.

Our Government was a foreign corporation every since it was created, but now it is really foreign because it is owned by a foreign United Nations. This means the federal government doesn't have any say so over the people. The government employees don't realize this and think they are still the top dogs. They are nobody!

So, does the United Nation decide what Trump can and can not do? No! Every treaty must be made in harmony with our constitution or it is void. But then, ya'll don't know what the constitution says!

If Trump doesn't do anything to stop the nukes, you better hope we have a narcissistic military that can hit the missiles before they get here. Hate to leave it up to a bunch of military transvestites to defend us from incoming projectiles.

  • lbr,

Just what do you know about the Iran treaty? It has been said that Iran doesn't have any responsibility or restrictions in Obama's contract except the ones it has violated.

Please tell me what parts of the "bargain" is Iran keeping? Someone has to undo everything that Obama did. He has destroyed our country, not made it better.

I finally heard the news say that something in Obamacare was illegal.

It only takes one thing to be illegal in a contract to make the whole thing void and null. When will the people and congress wake up and realize Obamacare is null and Void and move on to creating a Health care plan that will work.

  • WT* is right Steve. But instead of being incensed, it is better for the blood pressure to laugh about. What I would really like to see is Trump come out with a statement that the moon is Not made out of cheese. How funny would that be seeing LSM have a fit trying to explain how it is? Even better would be him coming out in support of exactly everything the looney left stands for. Sadly, that might be the only way to unite the country on the right path.

Peoplesplatter56, we may well have to deal with nukes headed our way. And we have b o to thank for 8 years of doing nothing to stop Iran or NoKo from developing them. Not to mention giving Iran plenty of money to build them.

Sui, regarding the the general ignorance of the constitution, they sure don't understand A25, if you listen to some of their talk after withdrawing articles of impeachment.

  • Steve, it is interesting nobody mentions the fact the Iran nuclear agreement is not a treaty, has no legal standing and was not signed by Iran. John Kerry stated it is not legally binding and was not a treaty.

  • Personally, I don't find foreign policy to be one of Trump's strong suits. And that's a real understatement.

So when U.S. allies, Britain, France, Germany, etc., The United Nations, and Trumps own national security team all condemn his stance to decertify the Iran Deal, that tells me something.

These are his own Generals. The same ones he praises.

    "I have the best Generals."

So, when John Kelly, Trump’s chief of staff; Jim Mattis, his defence secretary; and HR McMaster, his national security adviser, all say they are in support of continuing the agreement as written, we are to believe that Trump is smarter than all of them?

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Sun, Oct 15, 2017, at 9:55 AM
  • You know, Steve, it really doesn't matter. If he does something, they complain. If he doesn't do something, they complain. If he doesn't do anything about the Iran nuclear problem, they will complain. But I'll bet they would complain even more when Iran lobs one our way. So I guess it really does matter. Too bad they can't see that. But what do you expect? That is all they know.

-- Posted by fair share on Sun, Oct 15, 2017, at 12:36 PM
  • Who is Iran always threatening to destroy and kill all it's people? Why it is the USA including all the Americans, Muslims, Iraqis, Syrians,Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, and all the other legal and illegal immigrants in America. It also is threating to kill Jews and destroy Israel.

So, who you gonna listen to? The U.S. allies, Britain, France, Germany, etc., who have their own problems to deal with or Israel who can not turn their back on Iran for a second? If Israel didn't keep their eyes focused on Iran and Syria, they would not exist very long. They have the very best intelligent agencies keeping the PM informed all the time.

People have to learn to use their head for something more than just a hat rack. I know it is hard when your brain is dead, but try!

Obama divided the country 51/49 while he was in Office and brain washed the 51% to do what they say and not question it by using their own common sense.

If they had any common sense they could see just how stupid their actions are.

Even the White Supremacists have been divided. 51% of them think they are 14th amendment citizens and only have Civil Rights and not Unalienable Rights. What a shame! The constitution can only protect their Civil Rights. A Big Difference for the stupid. White Supremacist? You tell me!

If the USA wasn't superior to the other countries around the world, why does everyone want to come to America? Why do other countries want the USA to protect them if we aren't superior to then? Why do other countries want to sell their items to us but not buy our products if we were superior to them by being richer. Why do some people in America have Unalienable Rights yet the people in other countries do not? Is it because maybe we are Superior to all the other countries? Are the Third World Countries equal to the USA? I don't think so.

Is Iran equal to the USA? I sure hope not, but look at how they are always making us look like a bunch of idiots and losers.

Yeah, I think it is about time Trump pulled the US out of Iran's scheme of things and but some demands on them that both countries can stick to. Until Trump does something about North Korea, we can't make Iran do or not do anything!

Iran has to see devastation in North Korea before they are going to listen to anyone from the USA. Talking to Iran is just like talking to North Korea. It's NATO all over! No Action, Talk Only!

We have always been the Policeman of the World, until Obama came on the scene. He made America look like a wimpy Country and retired the World Policeman Title.

It is time to take back our Championship Title and show the World we are back and sit Obama down in a rocking chair in a corner somewhere.

Either you are for us or against us!

  • Now that you have stirred up my interests, I would like to address you Brain Dead Idiots who think Trump is taking you back to the DARK AGES!

The centuries following the fall of the Roman Empire in 476 A.D. are often referred to as the Dark Ages.

Is that where you idiots think Trump is going? Or are you trying to compare the Dark Ages with the Slavery in America that occurred centuries later?

Some of you idiots are trying to mean the neo-Nazi period when Hitler tried to create a superior race and extinguish the Jews, just because Trump's family originated from Germany.

Our SUPERIOR UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (Supremacist) put a stop to Hitler's action once we were pulled into the War by Japan. Germany's Superior army just couldn't cut the mustard against the good Ol USA's Supremacy.

Trump is trying to get America recognized as the Superior Country that it was before The Obama's Error.

There is a difference in a Country with Superior Wealth, Superior Military, Superior Scientific Minds, Superior Machines and Superior Weapons and a Superior race of people whose job it is to run this country and tell the Government what it can and can not do.

Is this Supremacy in a people and a Country or Racist? I call it Pride.

For you Idiots who can't think for yourself, Trump is doing his best to make America Superior again in the eyes of the World and give the power back to the people who own this Sovereign Power.

You idiots only want the government to tell you what you should do and how you should live. Your Brain Dead to think this way. We are the Sovereignty of his Country and should take the time to learn what it means and stop looking and sounding stupid.

  • Steve; I don't really understand why the most important part of this is the media response. Maybe that is because I have not really been paying much attention to what the media has to say. What is happening seems a lot more important than the predictable media responses. One set will be in favor, and the other will be opposed, and which is which switched abruptly last January.

What jumps out at me is how low the bar has now been set. The man manages to read a brief prepared statement, without wandering off into some rambling, incoherent diatribe, and you are excited about it. How sad is that?

If we were going to renegotiate our "deal" with Iran, there is no one I would have less confidence in as our representative than DJ Trump. While I felt he was unfit to serve as President, I vastly underestimated his ineptitude. I could never have dreamed our country would fall so far, and so fast. We are no longer the leader of the free world. China is now the dominant force in the Pacific, and Russia in the Middle East. Our allies have no confidence in us, and our enemies no longer fear us. Trump's peripatetic focus, throwing out hollow threats in all directions, have rendered us toothless. No matter how much the manchild blusters and threatens, we cannot launch pre-emptive strikes on North Korea, nor Iran without throwing the world into a war where everyone loses. Neither China nor Russia would allow it, and our often insulted allies would be loathe to be dragged into a conflict brought on solely by the foolishness of Trump. Do you think that the Korean nuclear program (not so long ago decades away from presenting a serious threat) was suddenly propelled by a series of epiphanies that just happened to coincide with Trump's ascendancy to the White House? Hardly. Unquestionably, Russia, China, or both were emboldened to offer a little covert assistance by knowing that our government had been turned into a chaotic mess, led by an idiot. Much more of Trump's "dealmaking" prowess, and we will find Iran equally prepared.

Of course, this can all be waved off as opinion. Lets take a look at how Trump's genius has impacted something simple and close to home; NFL players not standing for the national anthem. Prior to Trump throwing himself into the issue, what did we really have? Two or three players committing career suicide by using an unpopular method of making a political statement. It has happened before, and would surely happen again, but being largely ignored soon passed. Now, I understand why Trump jumped in. It is great grist for those goofy "rallies" which are about the closest he comes to "leading" anything. And he was coming to a point where even some of the believers were starting to notice the absence of any substantive accomplishment. He needed a distraction. Overnight, he managed to turn something insignificant into a major issue, dividing the country even further and creating additional chaos, along the way attacking one of our most basic rights as free people. Of course, this was a battle that it would be hard for him to lose. Popular opinion is against what the players were doing (even if they were actually protesting Trump's attack on the constitution more than anything else), and the NFL is a business. The NFL, acting alone, would be perfectly within its rights to require standing for the anthem as a condition of employment. Eventually public pressure would have forced them to do that. But Trump has to be the center of attention at all times. So he tweeted out his hollow threat to rescind the NFL's nonprofit tax status, and gave the protests new hope. Why was it hollow? The teams have never had nonprofit status, and have always paid taxes. Only the central office was exempt, a status they had voluntarily given up some years ago. He had nothing real to threaten the NFL with. However, by issuing such a threat as President, what was previously not a constitutional question became one. The threshold was crossed between the right of a private business to impose a condition of employment to the government taking away a constitutionally protected right. How the whole thing will play out remains to be seen. But, it was Trump's ineptitude, and his alone, that creates a possibility that players will be sitting out the anthem for years to come. What kind of "dealmaking" prowess is that?

You are just like the Antifa who protest and riot against what they themselves are doing at the time!

    Welcome aboard Mr. C!

  • Trump probably has not even read anything on Iran,he does not like to read.He is to busy trying to overturn the first amendment and tweeting and arguing with americans about their personal feelings. It is only Monday and he lied several times today, even his sexual assault allegations are "fake news".When asked today why he never mentioned our 4 green berets killed in Niger over 2 weeks ago,his answer was ,Obama never called families of fallen soldiers which was another lie. When asked if letters had been sent to these 4 families he remarked"I'm not sure when letters were sent".Yet he has time for foolish tweets and golf.

The republican party is split big time. What was fake was the love fest scene outside the white house today with McConnell,Bannon probably had to be sedated.

-- Posted by lets be real on Mon, Oct 16, 2017, at 10:13 PM
  • What are the odds that Trump could even find Iran on a map?

When the bodies of our dead servicemen were brought home, Trump was....you guessed it, playing golf.

If these Green Berets had been killed during the Obama Presidency we'd be having a congressional investigation instead of making tee times.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 5:28 AM
  • Trump's tee times, Trump's tweets.

The fanbois never asked why obama sent troops to Niger to begin with.

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 6:36 AM
  • Tee times and tweets.

Pretty much sums up the Trump presidency.

After a year in office you'd hope the current president would know the where and why of our troops.

Also how to respect the dead servicemen and their families.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 7:26 AM
  • Way to completely miss the point. Par for the course (pun intended).

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 9:15 AM
  • As for respect to dead service members, there's good reason active military and veterans are overwhelmingly republican.

They see democrats sending them to more wars, cutting their budgets to fund freebie programs to losers, and using the military for grand social experiments.

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 9:21 AM
  • I really feel sorry for some of you guys. Must be hard to love someone so much and want him back sooo much while knowing he won't ever be your President again. (Thank God!) Hopefully bashing Trump helps bring a little relief to your little hurt feelings.

"Also how to respect the dead servicemen and their families.

    -- Posted by RocketValentine"

Maybe he needs to learn to flat out lie to the families' faces. Maybe tell them they died because of some movie.

-- Posted by fair share on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 10:28 AM
  • Trump certainly doesn't need to "learn to flat out lie".

That's one thing he's perfected and does it on a daily basis

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 11:07 AM
  • Quitemike are you saying all those thousands of transgenders in the military you condemn are republicans? Now Trump has put Kelly on the spot who wanted his fallen son kept private. This is to sacred to be made political and that is just what he did yesterday. He nor any of his family went to war so he does not care about ones who served and died.He himself said McCain was not a hero because he was captured while he dodged the draft 5 times. One family member of the 4 fallen in Niger stated Trump has not contacted them.So the white house is going to send letters or call these families today only after being pressured. He said today he has called every family and sent letters to every family,it is too little too late.Quitemike and all his supporters saw Trump lie on camera yesterday and continue to deny it.All Trump has to do is tell them it was fake news since he knows they can not think for them selves.Lets see how many lies Tuesday will bring.

-- Posted by lets be real on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 12:06 PM
  • LBR, I know reading comprehension and logic aren't your strong suits, but what I wrote was, I thought, even simple enough for you to understand.

Maybe try getting an adult to explain it to you.

Military members, either active or veteran are overwhelmingly republican.

I know this doesn't mention freebies, or eschewing responsibility, so it might be out of your comfort zone, but still...

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 12:51 PM
  • So what does that have to do with Trump's continued disrespect to our military personnel?

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 1:39 PM
  • Continued disrespect?

He said he's written letters and they have been mailed or will be mailed that afternoon?

    Some haven't gotten them yet?

    The audacity of that man.

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 1:46 PM
  • Just priceless! Libs claiming the high ground on respect for the military!! Absolutely priceless!!! *trying not to hyperventilate laughing*

-- Posted by fair share on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 2:49 PM
  • Anything to criticize someone who's threatening their freebies.

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 3:10 PM
  • In the weeks after the 4 special forces soldiers were killed, Trump had time to play four rounds of golf and talk or tweet about everything from the NFL, to the "war on Christmas". But never once even mentioned the soldiers.

He even played golf on Monday instead of going to Dover Air Force Base as one of the flag-draped coffins was brought home.

When finally pressured about his silence on the matter his response was basically..."Uhh..Oh yeah...I'll get right on that". He did the old side-step of, "The check is in the mail".

But that shouldn't surprise us after what he said about John McCain.

"He's no war hero. I like soldiers that don't get caught".

So we know he's not fond of POW's.

I guess he doesn't care much about the dead ones either.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 3:13 PM
  • More goofy liberalism on full display.

Obama sent soldiers to Niger for some unknown reason, exposing them to the danger of being killed.

Are libs upset about the peace prize winner sending soldiers to at least 8 different countries, while at the same time cutting the military budget?

Nope, they're mad at the guy who didn't send them there.

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 4:01 PM
  • Pretty weak, QM. After enough iterations; "Obama, Obama, Obama; Liberal, Liberal, Liberal" translates to: "Trump is indefensible. Lets change the topic."

-- Posted by lazarus on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 5:10 PM
  • Really Laz,

What would you consider more disrespectful if it were your family or friends in the military, causing their death for no discernable reason or not sending a letter to their family in timely manner?

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 5:22 PM
  • Much like nobody was blaming Bush for the actual hurricane when Katrina hit New Orleans, but more the **** poor response and botched relief effort..."You're doing a heckova job, Browine".

The criticism towards Trump is not that our brave soldiers died fighting ISIS.

It's the fact that for almost two weeks he didn't even mention it.

Then when he did, his excuse was..."Well, Obama used to do the same thing". Which was another big lie.

Our military presence in Africa is no great mystery or "some unknown reason" and has actually even ramped up a bit since Trump took office conducting drone strikes in Somalia.

So if you're going to be like Trump and try to blame President Obama for Trump's own insensitive and incompetent behavior it's not going to work.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 7:04 PM
  • So Obama mentioned every soldier that died in Afghanistan, within two weeks, during his tenure? I must have missed that.

A hurricane and dispatching troops is a bit different, unless you can point out the presidential procedure for ordering a hurricane.

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 7:12 PM
  • Almost 500 soldiers died in the wars President Obama inherited in his first year of office.

President Obama had many families of fallen soldiers visit The White House and often visited the wounded at Walter Reed Military Hospital.

While it's probably impossible to mention every soldier when in the peak of war, President Obama went out of his way to try.

In August 2011, after a military helicopter was shot down over Afghanistan, killing 38 people, including 25 Special Operations forces, President Obama consoled the all the families of those killed at a ceremony held for them.

He would go to Dover Air Force at midnight to meet the coffins of the fallen to honor them.

Over 2,000 soldiers died in Afghanistan alone.

I'm not positive, but I think there's only been about 15 soldiers killed since Trump took office.

These four Green Berets losing their lives should have at least been worth mentioning by our Tweeter in Chief.

And again, it's not the hurricane or the dispatching of troops that's in question.

It's the response of the leadership.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Tue, Oct 17, 2017, at 8:29 PM
  • "Really Laz,

  • Trump stated the military should not deliver products to people in Puerto Rico, how will they get them with over 100 bridges out, they have no helicopters.

Trump stated on talk radio today that he called those families and sent letters. He forgot he said yesterday that he did not know when the letters went out.You can not tell a lie the same way twice.Trump is willing to send our troops to war in North Korea to their deaths "for no discernable reason" which does not seem to bother you Quitemike. will just bet that he has not sent a letter to any of the fallen soldiers this year. There was no need for saying what he said about Obama and other presidents yesterday,a presidents words do matter. If other fallen soldiers families come forward and expose he is lying,he brought this all on himself. One family has already come forward.

Just saw on news that Trump called LaDavid Johnsons wife of one of the fallen soldier while she was in the car on the way to the airport to see husbands coffin.Trump was unaware her congressman was in the car and he said"he knew what he signed up for,but it still hurts when it happens".This man is unable to show compassion. This woman has 2 children and pregnant with the third one. This is shameful.

BTW the Russia probe is getting closer to the oval office.Never seen so many multiple connections to Russia through millions of dollars through multiple banks and secret meetings that the trump white house seem to have forgotten. When you have to amend your security clearance form 4 times you should not have clearance.

  • How can anyone who claims to be an American not see that kneeling during the National Anthem and presentation of the colors is disrespectful of not only the flag but also the country, the military, and the citizens in general? I guess the same way some idiots think standing up with arms linked or a fist in the air is not as offensive. If you want to protest injustice, do that. Don't disrespect the flag and say "I'm not Really disrespecting the flag, I'm protesting injustice". No one gives a damm what you think until you can show the respect your Daddy should have taught you.

  • Sorry QM. Meaningless, off topic questions based on distorted facts are not worth my time. You might have mistaken me for Less Real, she is the one passionate about this issue. Trump's social graces regarding military families are not important in the scheme of things.

  • Of course the Liar in Chief denied what he said to the widow. There was 5 or 6 in the car who heard this.Trump said he has proof of what he said and the family said"Bring it on".Seems like we heard him say this before and he never brought forth proof. The wife said he did not even know the soldiers name and called his wife "the woman".Trump only respects our military when he wants to put them on the front line.

Fair how can any American not see that having a draft dodger for president shows disrespect for the country.Did your daddy teach you it is okay to be a coward and refuse to fight for your country when called?Trump's ego and loud mouth is causing us to be isolated from the rest of the world. His 30% are the only ones in the world that can not see that this man has mental problems. He is not capable of showing compassion or empathy and can only read it off paper.

  • My apologies, unreal, for playing my privilege card. I did have the privilege of growing up in a 2 parent household (1 mom, 1 dad). I also had the privilege of attending events where we paid proper respect to the flag. I also had the privilege of learning respect for the po po. Another privilege I had was being in the Boy Scouts. But that was quite a while back when they really were the Boy Scouts.

-- Posted by fair share on Wed, Oct 18, 2017, at 3:56 PM
  • What's the big deal about letting girls join the Boy Scouts? Me and my friends kinda viewed the Boy Scouts as nerdy wussies anyway when we were growing up. Those were usually the guys that got shoved inside lockers and got their lunch money taken.

Now if they would have let some of the cute girls join back then, maybe we could have been swayed to join.

Might have made the camping trips a lot more interesting.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Wed, Oct 18, 2017, at 4:43 PM
  • Yeah, girls going on camping trips with adolescent boys who have merit badges in knot tying is a great idea.

What's wrong with the girl scouts changing their curriculum if it's unsatisfactory?

-- Posted by quietmike on Wed, Oct 18, 2017, at 5:13 PM
  • Very good points. And I was also joking of course.

Even thou I was never a Boy Scout, I'm sure it's a fine organization.

  • lets be real,

After I served my 3 years in the Army Airborne, they done away with the draft and made it voluntary. What idiot is going to volunteer to go into the military without knowing there is the possibility of getting killed by some enemy somewhere? They put their loves in danger when they volunteer, knowing this fact. If they get killed, they get killed doing what they chose to do. I can respect them for their service. The survivors also knew there was a possibility their son or daughter could be killed. It's been happening every since America was founded.

Let's see what Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior had to say about respecting the dead father. May not apply to other Anti-Christ religions!

    Matthew 8:21,22

21 Another disciple said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”

22 But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

    Luke 9:59-60

59 He said to another man, “Follow me.”

But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”

60 Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”

Now the Democrats don't want to say anything about what Jesus said, but want to crucify Trump, go figure. Ya'll are putting Trump too high up on a Pedestal.

Girl Scouts? Like mother like daughter! The women weren't happy until they destroyed the men only clubs, now their daughters want to destroy the Boy Scouts. It will be just fine until the girls come home from the Unisex Scout Summer Camp with a swollen belly. Then we will see the transgenders forcing their way into the Unisex Scouts Clubs. By then, the Boy Scouts won't exist any longer. The Women will have to find something else to destroy.

Girl Scouts? Why are we even taking about Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts? Where are you cmcclanahan?

-- Posted by sui on Wed, Oct 18, 2017, at 6:44 PM
  • Sui, I'm not sure the democrats believe in Jesus. That is why they aren't complaining about Him. As for the Boy Scouts, they need to get Bruce Jenner to be the new head Scoutmaster.

-- Posted by fair share on Wed, Oct 18, 2017, at 8:11 PM
  • Fair who did you hear complaining about Jesus and I also grew up with one mom and one dad,who was a minister.

Sui what you said about the military makes no sense. Are you saying there was no draft during the Vietnam War?Trump himself bragged that he had deferments, 5 to be exact. My brother was drafted for that war,he never volunteered. So you are agreeing with what Trump said to a grieving widow, that brought her to tears..He lied about calling every family of fallen soldiers. The wife of fallen soldier Hunter killed in Afganistan this summer said today Trump never called or sent a letter. Will he tell her she is lying also? When Trump said he "I don`t like soldiers that get captured like McCain does that mean he doesn`t like soldiers who die also.So now Trump has opened a can of worms with his cruel words because he lied about calling these families now they are coming forward and telling the truth, his lies are catching up with him.

-- Posted by lets be real on Wed, Oct 18, 2017, at 9:20 PM
  • Seriously, unreal, please take a class in reading comprehension. I implore you. Sorry, I mean I strongly encourage you to do that. What part, specifically, of the word "aren't" do you not understand? I can explain it to you, but sorry, I can't understand it for you.

-- Posted by fair share on Thu, Oct 19, 2017, at 6:08 AM
  • We seem to have wandered far afield. I will start with a few words about the Boy Scouts, since I seem to be the only one who was actually a scout. I was a Cub Scout at 8 & 9. In the cub scouts we just had fun, altho they did reinforce the values that ya'll supposedly espouse. You know; that god and country stuff. That was sort of a theme throughout my scouting experience. After a hiatus at 10 and 11 (my family moved frequently when I was a kid) I joined the Boy Scouts from age 12 thru 15. While I am sure that every troop is different, I learned a lot of valuable life skills from the experience. My troop went on frequent backpacking expeditions (at least one a month... all year long), where each patrol, consisting of kids ranging from 9 to 14 had to plan and execute everything necessary to provide for their own shelter, food, and other necessities to survive. While the scoutleaders were there to prevent failure from resulting in outright death, the failure to organize ourselves was allowed to result in a pretty miserable outing. There is nothing like having a poorly packed pack, inadequate shelter, not enough food, and no fire on a 3 day and two night backpacking trip to drive home lessons about planning and working together. Since the older kids were responsible for the welfare of the younger members of the patrol, we soon learned to help them out on the front end, so we did not end up having to take care of them when the chips were down. I learned a lot of skills for living outdoors, and also developed the skills for both leading a team, and being a productive member. The things I learned in scouting helped me to succeed as an employee, and formed the foundation for the skills that have allowed me to start a successful business. From 15 to 18 I belonged to the Explorer Scouts... which allowed girls even then. Explorer Scouts were more specialized, many Units associated with career oriented activity. Mine focused on continuing into more advanced outdoor activity. I don't think the Explorers exist any more. As a parent of daughters, I would have been happy to see them belong to a scout troop like the one I belonged to. Life skills are just as valuable for girls as for boys.

-- Posted by lazarus on Thu, Oct 19, 2017, at 11:16 AM
  • Scouting was good times, wasn't it Laz? Even when it didn't always go according to plans. Some of the best times when I was a kid were out around a campfire we made trying to stay warm in the middle of winter. I too did the Cub, Boy, and Explorer Scout thing. Got enough badges for Eagle, got Order of the Arrow, did the God and Country thing. It really was a good learning experience. And fun. If they want to let girls in tho, they at least need to drop "Boy" from the name. Otherwise, it just sounds stupid.

-- Posted by fair share on Thu, Oct 19, 2017, at 11:47 AM
  • Congratulations on the Eagle and OA, Fare. I am impressed, because those are not just given out. I agree on the "Boy" in the name, but I don't know that they do not already intend to do that. They might want to keep it because of the "brand" concept.... We do some weird stuff that way. Look at college sports, where he "Big Ten" has 12 teams, and the "Big Twelve" has 10 teams. No wonder our kids can't learn (Smiley Face).

  • lets be real,

I was in the 82 Airborne when the Vet Nam war broke out. I saw kids come into our company to be shipped out to Viet Nam. All I could think was these kids were just babies. They did not have the training to be shipped over to Vet Nam. I could only keep my mouth shut so I didn't discourage them, knowing half or more would be killed when they landed on the beachhead.

I shook every time a levy came down with the names of men in my company on it that would be shipped out to Vet Nam. I was discharged before my name came up and I never had to go to VN.

It was 1973, when the draft ended and the U.S. converted to an All-Volunteer military.

The registration requirement was suspended in April 1975. It was resumed again in 1980 by President Carter in response to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. However, it was mostly volunteers. If they didn't get enough then men would be drafted.

In the Iraq war, reservists and people who were still linked to the Military were drafted, if their profession was needed.

I haven't heard of anyone being Drafted lately because the pay today makes my pay back then look like a child's allowance.

Most kids are enlisting for the Money, benefits, Trades and Schooling or to impress their friends and relatives.

The Green Berets (Special Forces) Trained at Fort Bragg NC when I was stationed there. Their training was much harder on their minds and body than my Airborne Training Training at Fort Benning GA.

They trained to be fighting forces and knew the dangers of war.

You are reaching for too many Gold Stars!

I can tell you that president Obama and Sec. Hillary Clinton told bare face lies to the survivors who lost loved ones in Benghazi. They still lie about it as if it was nothing. When you crucify Obama and Hillary for just some of the crimes they committed, then you can talk to me about something Trump said or done. If Trump lies, he deserves to get called on it.

I wouldn't put much faith in John McCain. He is still trying to remember how he voted on the last vote and what it was he was voting for.

Funny how John McCain is the only name you hear who was captured and held prisoner. Where are all the other prisoners of war who were captured when MCCain was caught? Why don't they get any recognition? Did they get Gold Stars too? Was John McCain the only man in the service who got captured? Did all the other prisoners die in captivity? When is the movie coming out? Just asking!

  • Uncommon Valor (1983), The Hanoi Hilton (1987), Rambo First Blood (1985), Missing in Action (1984), Missing in Action 2 (1985), Missing in Action 3 (1988), Little Dieter needs to Fly (1997), Rolling Thunder (1977), In Love and War (1987), The Walking Dead (1995), Some Kind Of Hero (1982), Faith of my Fathers (2005), Rescue Dawn (2006).

SUI; it would seem there were at least 11 Vietnam POW movies released before "Faith of my Fathers,"the one about John McCain. And a 12th since. John McCain was the son of an Admiral in the Navy, and the grandson of another. Trump avoided the draft during Viet Nam. His father avoided the draft during WWII. His grandfather was denied permanent residence in Germany for draft evasion... And you are trashing John McCain?

  • The white house sent Kelly out today to clean up Trumps mess yesterday. He will have to get a bigger scoop because Trump is still tweeting lies tonight. He tweeted that Senator Wilson was secretly in the limosine, she was invited by the family and knew them personally.Kelly is disgusted because his son's death was politicized but he is defending the one who politicized it,Trump.Keeping deaths of servicemen sacred means nothing to Trump.Kelly and his wife was invited and went to the Gold Star Family gathering at the white house in 2011,after his son's death,so they were contacted in some manner.Kelly told Trump about his son in confidence and he was betrayed.Trump was in a jam and he will use anything he has as a weapon no matter who or how it hurts them.

I am sure past presidents probably may not have called every family of fallen military, but Trump is the only one that said he did. Can't wait to see what he calls LaDavid Johnson's widow when she tells him the same thing everyone else in the car heard.

I know fair and Sui will be upset if we don't have as many Niger hearings as we had with Benghazi. This will be Trump's Benghazi since he had most of the troops pull out of Niger and left these men vulnerable.

Trump sat there today with his arms folded like a pouting 2 year old and tried to encourage the Gov of Puerto Rico to praise him and say he rated a 10 out of 10 for helping them after hurricane, the governor was very uncomfortable. The man has no shame.

  • LBR,

I'm betting most of us will take the word of General Kelly over the gal with the sequined pimp hats.

-- Posted by quietmike on Fri, Oct 20, 2017, at 4:49 AM
  • QM, Kelly's version is actually the only one that makes sense. He said that Trump said exactly what those people claim he said, but did not mean it to come out the way it did. I can get that. Who among us has not, at some point, had words come out of our mouth that we immediately regret. There is even a name for it. "I stuck my foot in my mouth." The question is, how did we respond when that happened? We were filled with remorse and regret, and would give anything to be able to take those words back. Trump's response was to call the woman a liar and claim he had "proof." How much legs does this "controversy" have, if he simply says; "Yes, I said that, but I did not mean it the way it came out"? With the simple addition of; "I would give anything if I could take those words back; I apologize" there is nothing for us to talk about. Unfortunately, we have a man in the White House who cannot handle even the simplest situation.

-- Posted by lazarus on Fri, Oct 20, 2017, at 8:34 AM
  • What Trump said was what Kelly advised him to say. Kelly defended Trump's words and criticized "the selfish behavoir of a member of congress".

-- Posted by quietmike on Fri, Oct 20, 2017, at 11:33 AM
  • If that isn't enough now the pimp hat idiot, vying to take the moron title from Maxine Waters and Sheila Jackson Lee, says she's a rock star and has the white house following her.

But I'm sure she had the widow's best interest at heart.

    http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/20/politics/frederica-wilson-rock-star/index.html

-- Posted by quietmike on Fri, Oct 20, 2017, at 11:38 AM
  • Actually, QM, Trump did not say what he was advised. He did what he always does and just blurted out the first thing that popped into his head; "She's a liar, and I have proof." Kelly directly contradicted what Trump said. If Trump was capable of thinking before he spoke, or taking advice on what to say, he would be that much closer to fit to hold office.

-- Posted by lazarus on Fri, Oct 20, 2017, at 12:14 PM
  • What a great country we live in. In what other country could some idiot no-name from Florida become an overnight rockstar by riding the coattails of a dead soldier ? Talk about being in the right place at the right time! I really can't figure out why this ticks me off since intellectually I know we have devolved to this just being SOP, but someone joyfully claiming rockstar status for her tangential involvement in a hero's death is downright despicable. Way to go dems!!! Keep politicizing the death of patriots. After all, at this point, what difference does it make? We the people see what you really are.

-- Posted by fair share on Fri, Oct 20, 2017, at 1:33 PM
  • Laz,

Do you have a recording or transcript of the call?

If Trump said something different than what was advised, why is Kelly defending him and criticizing Wilson?

-- Posted by quietmike on Fri, Oct 20, 2017, at 1:55 PM
  • Folks should remember thoughts are not only spoken, but also heard, so there are two possibilities for a misunderstanding.

There is absolutely no driving reason for taking any of this story seriously.

There are WAY too many variables, with zero evidence that is not either circumstantial or manipulable, and plenty of reason to suspect the same BS lies and other tactics from the left we've seen ever since Trump was elected.

-- Posted by quietmike on Fri, Oct 20, 2017, at 3:11 PM
  • Kelly said Trump told him he did not know what to say to families of fallen soldiers and Kelly told him to say exactly what Trump said.In other words Kelly corroborated what Wilson, the widow and the parents said.So now Sanders thinks that when a Chief of Staff lies he can not be questioned because he is a General.Kelly never denied what Wilson said and contradicted Trump.Kelly also lied about Wilson bragged about personally getting funds for the FBI building.Well a video has emerged to show what she said that showed Kelly lied and this woman was not even in congress in 2009 when the building was funded.Kelly has hurt his credibility to protect Trump. The parents said he was disrespectful to them and their son.Trump has a lot of questions to answer about Niger one in particular is why was one soldier left behind for 2 days.

-- Posted by lets be real on Fri, Oct 20, 2017, at 9:23 PM
  • BtW there was violence today in FL at Spencers speech when 3 white nationalist from Texas pulled up and started yelling Hitler salutes and shot at protesters.Luckly those "non-violent alt right christians"didn't kill anyone.

-- Posted by lets be real on Fri, Oct 20, 2017, at 9:30 PM
  • LBR,

As usual, you leave out half the story. Those "peaceful protestors" started hitting the guys car with sticks before he shot at them.

There's stupidity aplenty for both sides.

-- Posted by quietmike on Fri, Oct 20, 2017, at 10:02 PM
  • QM; I didn't figure I needed a recording or a transcript. Essentially Kelly and Wilson both reported the same words were said... they just assigned them very different meanings. Sometimes it helps to apply a little common sense. Why would Trump call the woman and intentionally offend her? There was no reason. I would believe Kelly's explanation of what Trump meant to convey. Not that Trump hesitated to attack the "grieving widow" when she criticized him.

So we have the "same BS lies and tactics" on both sides. A "very private" phone call "listened in on" by Kelly on one end, and Wilson on the other. And we find the war dead being politicized... which had its genesis with what? Trump's unprompted and baseless claim that he was the "only president" to contact the families of KIA soldiers. Once again, he is the source of his own problems.

-- Posted by lazarus on Fri, Oct 20, 2017, at 10:32 PM
  • Some hoped Kelly would go into the white house and change Trump, but I think Trump changed him. What we have are enablers in the white house to his lies and unpresidential behavior.Kelly took an oath to the american people, not hide behind his stars and look the other way when the president is wrong.Kelly raised a question about the loss of what is sacred in America.Does he not know who he is working under.Nothing is sacred to Trump. He has no respect for women, the disable or Gold Star Families.Every day someone has to come out and clean up his mess while he sats back with his arms folded as if someone has taken his candy. He found a real sucker in Sarah H Sanders,Spicer finally tired of coming out lying for Trump, she will say anything he tells her no matter how ridiculous and keep a straight face.I laughed when I heard her say "It is inappropriate to question a 4 star general".

-- Posted by lets be real on Sat, Oct 21, 2017, at 1:04 AM
  • I forgot to add POWs to Trump's list above that he disrespects, what was his words,"I don't like people who get captured, they are not heros".I know fair and quitemike remember that.John McCain could have said,he did not like cowards but he didn't.

It's almost as if the media would rather report anything but the story about Russian bribery for American uranium.

Also funny how quickly the Russia/Trump stories died, almost as quickly as the lawsuits by women accusing Trump during the campaign were dropped after the election.

It is day 7 and thin skin, dirty mouth Trump is still tweeting about Wilson, why can't he just let it go.While LaDavid Johnson was being buried, instead of going to the funeral like most presidents,he was sitting in the white house tweeting and degrading yet another black woman. He seems to be preoccupied with downing black women. What is he afraid of? It was the fallen soldiers widow's right to have whoever she wanted to go with her to meet her husbands coffin and Wilson was a personal friend. The widow is the one who used the speaker phone which is her right.Kelly listened in on Trumps end because he knows Trump has no compassion or empathy and can't think before he opens his big mouth.Right now the white house staff are looking like idiots holding their breath and scrambling everytime he speaks.

The Russia probe is still going full blast quitemike, you would not know because Trump and Fox says noyhing about is.They are to busy with the Weinstein story while sitting in Bill O'Reilly's chair.LOL.With their history of sexual abuse they should be ashame to bring this up.Treat Weinstein like the did the Roger Ailes and O'Reilly story, ignor it.

When the host asked her if this thing with Weinerstein was the same as the thing with slick willy, apparently she told him "close, but no cigar". She must have been drunk.

-- Posted by fair share on Sun, Oct 22, 2017, at 1:11 PM
  • Was "crazy man Moore's" hat pink sequined? Was it three sizes to small so it wore like Mr Potato Head's hat?

Was he wearing matching sequined clothing.

Most importantly, did also he consistently vote no on bills to help veterans making him a hypocrite like the pimp memorial is?

-- Posted by quietmike on Sun, Oct 22, 2017, at 3:46 PM
  • No and Wilson didn't vote no on bills to help veterans either. But good ole boy Roy Moore did lead the charge against removing segregation from the ALA constitution and poll taxes to vote. He is worse than a hypocrite,he is a well known racist. He was even booted out of the state supreme court for defying higher court orders.

Fair this thing with Weinstein is the same thing as with Trump since he still has several sexual harassment law suits pending. Have you noticed Trump does not tweet about it.

Lets see if Trump can go this week without lying.

Here's one source. No doubt you'll bad mouth it without providing a source of your own.

  • Trump already failed the test for lying and this is just Monday. He has reached a new low, arguing with a fallen soldiers widow. He is unable to apologize and let it go.You do not tell a grieving widow "He knew what he signed up for" and get the name right. It has come to the point where whoever talks to him needs to record it.Fair and quitemike you keep bashing Wilson. You need to be asking why 4 american soldiers killed in Niger and 12 days went by without any mention from the president and only then when the press asked him. This has nothing to do with Wilson's record so stop deflecting from the problem. The problem was that Trump lied that he called every fallen soldiers family and no other president did.He was finally pressured to send the soldier injured in June the check for $25,000 he promised on Oct 18 the same day he was asked about it in the news conference. He brought this all on himself.

  • Rep Wilson should be in handcuffs sitting in a jail cell without Bail for going on social media and telling the world SHE was going to take Trump Out Tonight!

Everyone in charge is so brain dead they won't do anything to punish criminals, only the good people.

Rep Wilson is nothing more than a Racist Black Lives Matter supporter and a lifetime threat to the United States President. She should be serving a life sentence for threatening the life of the President. Hey wait, wouldn't that make her a lifetime career woman? She could prepare the prison for Hillary and Obama.

As expected you can't substantiate your assertion about Wilson's voting record because you pull your "facts" from where you do most of your talking.

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 24, 2017, at 2:59 AM
  • A little beeno could help cut down on the expulsion of so much hot air. When Maxine Waters said "I'm the dumbest in Congress..." the sequined slut from FL Freddie Wilson said "Hold my beer...".

We don't need any more questions about the 4 Americans killed. Weren't they at the Consulate and we refused to send them help while watching it on the big screen in the sit room? Anyway, it was just a misunderstanding about some racist movie. But really, at this point, what does it matter?

-- Posted by fair share on Tue, Oct 24, 2017, at 3:44 AM
  • The widow of the dead soldier has now spoken out and said that everything that Wilson described about Trumps phone call was absolutely true.

The mother has said the same.

Attacking Wilson about the clothes she wears or past voting records can't change or deflect from the facts.

  • Awe, All those black trump hating BLM supporters look alike, sound alike and think alike. They should all be in prison. You can actually see the hate radiating from their eyes. You will also see this look in the eyes of the Anti-fa protesters, if you can get close enough to them to look.

-- Posted by sui on Tue, Oct 24, 2017, at 12:08 PM
  • Fair you might not know the old saying that, white people think all black people look alike.Waters does not even wear hats.

Sui do you know what ANTIFA means? In case you did not know blacks are not they only race in BLM,it is multiracial including whites. So how can they all look alike?

I never said Corker said that,he called him an" utterly untruthful president",go figure, same thing.

-- Posted by lets be real on Tue, Oct 24, 2017, at 12:28 PM
  • Did I say anything about the way they look? I was referring to the fact that they both act like idiots.

    *reading*

    *comprehension*

Those two words should go hand in hand a whole lot easier than they do for some people.

Speaking of Corker, if he really wants to be governor, he needs to get off the Trump bashing. What am I saying? Even if he did, Diane Black will kick his liberal behind.

  • Republican senators dropping like flies, now Flake is not running next term. They are ashamed of the leader of their party and do not want to be a party to Trumps lies and corruption. Now the others need to grow a spine.Flake and Corker is saying what the others are thinking and afraid to say.Trump needs them more than they need him to get his bills passed. So keep tweeting Trump.

Shutting down business in town this weekend will cause them to lose money and who will pay for extra police.I hope it will be worth it.With stores and streets closed ,who will the white nationalist have to yell at.Murfreesboro is doing the same, they don't want them either. There is a big chance of rain and I hope it storms and rain buckets and wash that filth off our streets.

-- Posted by lets be real on Tue, Oct 24, 2017, at 6:23 PM
  • If that flake Flake and Corker had a spine they would stay and fight for what they believe in. But they are realists and know they couldn't win their primary. Now if only we could get a decent replacement for McCain. Patience, patience.

Wouldn't need to shut things down or have extra police if the radical left (getting to be mainstream) believed in free speech for all, not just those that tow the party line.

-- Posted by fair share on Tue, Oct 24, 2017, at 7:18 PM
  • Fair there you go deflecting again, blaming the left for the right's racism. If the right believed in free speech for all they wouldn'have a problem taking a knee.

-- Posted by lets be real on Tue, Oct 24, 2017, at 7:52 PM
  • LBR,

Still can't substantiate your claim about Wilson's voting record? You've had well over 24 hours, what's the problem?

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 24, 2017, at 8:25 PM
  • Fair, thanks for pointing out that racist nazis don't "tow the party line" of the left.

Remember to stay on your side of the street Saturday.

Stand proudly with your Alt-right, racist Nazi brothers.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Tue, Oct 24, 2017, at 8:27 PM
  • Quitemike Wilson`s voting record has nothing to do with a "wreckless, outrageous, and undignified" president who bashes Gold Star families.I know you think this is acceptable behavior now since Jan 20th and the norm.I am sure you could pull a lot of senators records you don't like or I do not like. The question is who lied on that call and you believe a known liar over a widow, his parents and Wilson.Next you will start blaming the left for Trumps uncontrollable lying.

Try to stay dry this Saturday while standing out in the rain with your sign.

-- Posted by lets be real on Tue, Oct 24, 2017, at 11:32 PM
  • Unreal, I'm not blaming anyone for racism. If you want to, research the beginnings of the KKK. I'm all for free speech. If someone wants to take a knee, at least do it on your own time, not company time. And have the intestinal fortitude to deal with the disgrace you deserve.

RV, thanks for pointing out that the mainstream left doesn't believe in free speech for all.

  • LBR,

The question is who has evedience to back up their claim and who has a history of making things up as they go, then desperately trying to change the subject when challenged to prove their ridiculous assertions.

You couldn't have remained silent on the issue of Wilson's voting records in regards to veterans, or you could have spent 20 seconds doing a google search to educate yourself, but instead, as usual, you chose to speak from a position of complete ignorance.

No and Wilson didn't vote no on bills to help veterans either. - - Posted by lets be real

A moderately intelligent person might recognize being so consistently wrong on so many issues, and being ill informed on things with which they have such a strong opinion could be a clue that introspection is in order, along with some education, but I guess when you embrace an ideology where one never has to take responsibility for themselves, such thinking is passe.

-- Posted by quietmike on Wed, Oct 25, 2017, at 6:44 AM
  • I know where the KKK started fair,in the conservative party which is now the republican party.Quite you must of had Trump in mind when you said "who has a history of making things up as they go,then desperately trying to change the subject when challenged to prove their ridiculous assertions".That was the best description of him ever great job.If only you could get as obsessed about the corruption in the white house as you are about Wilson's voting record.Speaking of records Trump has broken one, that is being in the oval office 10 months has passed no legislation of substance.

I was not raised around people who took no responsibility for themselves,my parents, siblings and I all started work at a young age and never received any government assistance.

-- Posted by lets be real on Wed, Oct 25, 2017, at 11:41 AM
  • More random nonsense to avoid admitting you just make things up as you go?

If what you say about Trump is true, are you practicing to be just like him?

  • lbu,

Yes darlin, I know what antifa means. It is a democratic organization of the democratic party, which by the way is supported by the US Communist Party, that hates hate groups. They are the biggest hate group in America next to the Black Lives Matter org. Too many everyday citizens are listening to them spewing their hatred for other groups who have just as much right to protest as they do, and follow their lead without knowing anything about what is going on. They are followers who don't have a brain they can use to determine anything for themselves.

The Antifascist rioters have all of the Shellbyvillians thinking that the demonic Antifascist is a good thing. Watch them in action and see who is spewing all the hate speech. It is always the Antifascist groups. They want to create hatred among the people and prevent the other group from talking. Again I have no use for these hate group person. Does that make me a racist or a Hatist?

I know who the Black Lives Matter is and that it is mixed races including the white and brown idiots. The BLM only believe that black lives matter, so that doesn't say much for the whites and browns who are sucked into being members. How did they become members if only Black Lives Matter? They can't even do that right. And you want me to believe that all men are equal? I don't think so.

Yeah, they all look alike, Look at how they walk, carry themselves, and wave their hands and grab their crotch when they talk. Don't forget the look of Hatred in their eyes when they protest. They all look alike to me, White, Brown or Black.

Racist? Look no further than your federal government who freed the slaves and put their offspring into slavery by the U.S. Constitution that protects their Civil Rights.

They don't have unalienable rights, only Civil Rights. Read your Constitution.

Did you read the paper the other day when that idiot wrote about the Schools were not bound by the U.S. Constitution because the Constitution only named the States as not being able to limit the rights of school children, but the schools could. Big Lie! The professor had no idea what he was talking about.

The Constitution also says No State can have slaves, but doesn't say anything about people having slaves. Does that mean people can still have slaves, but the States can not? Basically that is exactly what it says. The Black race does not have the same Sovereign rights as the white race. They only have Civil Rights given to them by a corporation that can govern them with any laws they want to make. Read your Constitution.

I Loved to watch Bill Cosby. I hate that he actually drugged women to have sex with them, so I have no respect for him for that, but he taught more morals than anyone with his show for years. Does that make me a racist?

I liked OJ Simpson until he cut the throat of Ron Goldman and Nicole, his white wife. I have absolutely no respect for OJ now. I even hate the man. Does that make me a Racist? You demos use the word Racist too damned much.

  • UPDATE:

Finally it's all out in the open. Hillary Clinton has brought down the whole DNC and Obama Administration. FBI, Intelligent Agencies and the Justice Department with her lies and corruption.

Now if they can just get all this information out of the hands of the Congress, investigating committees and Mueller and the FBI and all those lying Intelligent Agencies and put it in the hands of a Grand Jury, maybe some Justice can be served.

Obama, Holder, WH admin, Hillary Clinton,Bill Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, and the whole communist Democratic Party with their DNC should all be handcuffed and waiting in jail without bail for their case to come up.

All you Democrats have been accusing Trump of concluding with Russia when it was Hillary paying Russia to interfere with the election. Only thing is, Russia hurt Hillary instead of helping her. Nixon was impeached for less that that.

All those black congress women who spoke out against Trump with their Hate speech should also be cuffed and tried with their Demo Party. Their own woman they wanted to "look up to", Hillary Clinton, was the evilest of them all. Some "example for women" just as I said way back when! Hillary Clinton the women's "Hero" the "woman of the year", a woman all women could be proud of, a Total Liar and Corrupt Swamp Creature. Boy did she pulled wool over your eyes ladies and democrats. You even worshiped her after she crawled under her rock. You should be PROUD! Only a Woman could bring a whole Democratic Party down including the White House admin, Justice Department, and Obama. Michelle will have to go down with her husband for be an accessary and knowing what he was doing. You know, like those shooters' girl friends.

-- Posted by sui on Wed, Oct 25, 2017, at 8:57 PM
  • C'mon, Sui. Give OJ a break. Sure, he shouldn't have sliced and diced his slut wife's neck. But Goldman was driving his sports car around town. Can't really expect to throw it in his face like that and get away with it.

I have been wondering why we haven't been hearing the dummercrats hollering "Russia, Russia, Russia" lately. Guess they are trying to figure out the cadence for "Yellow-cake Gate".

Nice story about the big switch, unreal. You people just can't seem to keep the timing consistent. 1860s,1910s, 1930s, 1960s. You do recall what LBJ said trying to get the civil rights bill passed, don't you? And they have been voting democrat for 50+ years and counting. Looks like he could tell the future.

Speaking of antifa, who came up with that oxymoron? They claim to be against fascism yet use fascist tactics. About the only difference between them and the brownshirts of the 30s is the antifa are not as well dressed or well trained. And they eat supper in their mom's basement.

-- Posted by fair share on Wed, Oct 25, 2017, at 9:47 PM
  • Sui since much of the dossier has been corrborated I do not care who funded the information. The first one to fund it was a republican. You must have been watching Faux all day.I have not seen or heard anyone say that Hillary or the DNC paid Russia to interfere with the election,so get a grip.

The BLM is multiracial because they know black lives do not matter to people like you and your Nazi buddies coming this week end.The world knows white lives matter, that is why they can shoot at the police and be captured unharmed. They shoot to kill unarmed brown and blacks for selling cigarettes, stealing a cigar,or a broken tail light. They took Dylan Roof to Burger King when captured after killing 9 people and knowing he was armed.Saw a police chase video with a white guy on a high speed chase shooting at the cops,he was taken down without a scratch.

So you think now Sui that if anyone speaks out against Trump they should be cuffed and jailed.

So I would not get to happy because I seriously doubt Hillary,Obama,Holder or Bill Clinton will ever go to jail.

Half of the senate is in rebellion against Trump. The other half is licking Trumps boots so they can get a tax cut for the rich paid for with cuts to medicare.Trump is splitting the party and a house divided will not stand. And we all know Trump is good at dividing houses, leaving 2 wives and his children for the other woman.

Even the chaplin in the senate today prayed for God to send them more patriots that will stand up for what is right.Instead senators know Trump is not fit to serve and have an obligation to impeach and remove him. They took an oath to the constitution and not to Trump. They have Stockholm Syndrome.

-- Posted by lets be real on Wed, Oct 25, 2017, at 10:00 PM
  • It's hysterical for a big government loving liberal to refer to the constitution in a plea for doing what's right.

Nowhere in the constitution is it allowed for the federal government to be involved in charity, and they weren't, until the socialist FDR realized he could buy votes with money from the public treasury. Once that flood gate was opened, the rest was inevitable as democrats have always used government to live at the expense of others.

This is the real reason libs are apoplectic about Trump. He hasn't done or said anything not already done or said by a previous democrat while enjoying their silent consent.

Trump threatens to roll back their freebies and force them to run their own lives, support themselves and and accept adult responsibility.

-- Posted by quietmike on Thu, Oct 26, 2017, at 4:50 AM
  • Unreal, I would like to applaud you for a truth you spoke in your last post. But if you want everyone to see that sometimes you do, try not to hide it in the middle of your typical blather. You are right about a Republican doing initial funding for the dossier. Clinton and the DNC didn't get involved until after the primary when they took it to the level of colluding with Russia to alter the election. But your factual crumb gets lost because it follows the part where you imply the dossier is factual. Which part? But you guys don't really need to worry too much about that collusion problem. The one you should worry more about is the hilldog's earlier Russian collusion helping increase their control of the nuclear fuel market. But all hope is not lost. Perhaps the co-conspiritor Muddler can keep the pressure on Trump with the trumped up charges of him being a commie sympathizer.

Speaking of the constitution, I'd like for someone to show me where it says we can only exercise one right at a time. Apparently, at least locally, if we want to exercise our right to free speech, we can only do that if we give up (temporarily) our right to protect ourselves. I'm gonna get my copy of the Constitution out and re-read it. Cause I sure don't remember that being in there.

-- Posted by fair share on Thu, Oct 26, 2017, at 8:42 AM
  • All I know is that some of the dossier has been corroborated by the CIA after matching records. What part of the dossier has been has not been made public, could be the part about the golden showers LOL.

Trump said he is so smart and went to an Ivy League school. He bashed Obama for going to one and asked to see his school record. We want to see Trumps school record after finding out he was transferred there after being labeled a trouble maker. One professor stated he was dumb as a box of rocks.A smart person doesn't have to convince anyone they are smart.

If Trump keeps delaying the Russian sanctions we will see who is a commie sympathizer. That is why he is calling the Russian Probe a hoax and fake news because he knows what he has done is coming out.He is instilling in his sheeps minds to not believe the truth but only what he and Faux tells them.

  • Well, if worse comes to worst and you happen to be out and about in Shelbyville Saturday, here's a handy little chart you can reference to help keep yourself safe.

How not to be attacked by Nazis:

    - Don't be Black

    - Don't be Latino

    - Don't be Asian

    - Don't be Middle Eastern

    - Don't be an Immigrant

    - Don't be Gay

    - Don't be Trans

    - Don't be Muslim

    - Don't be Jewish

    - Don't be Leftist

    - Don't be Feminist

How not to be attacked by Antifa:

    - Don't be a Nazi

-- Posted by fair share on Thu, Oct 26, 2017, at 3:50 PM
  • There is no such thing as the alt left,Trump made that up.Rv that was very clever.

-- Posted by lets be real on Thu, Oct 26, 2017, at 8:40 PM
  • LBR, for someone who doesn't watch the news, you sure do blab off at the mouth about nothing except Trump Hatred. Stems from your BLM training I suppose.

Hillary paid Russia to interfere with the election and ruin Trump. She paid to get screwed by the Russians instead. We all know what that makes her.

Not only was it Hillary but the whole damned Democratic National Committee and Obama's Adm. going all the way back to Holder.

I agree with you on one thing. Hillary will never face charges because the DOJ is corrupt also.

Nazis - Why is everyone even speaking about Nazis? We defeated Hitler years ago. If there are Nazis in our country rising up, you might want to rethink the border to protect our country from immigrants who are coming into our USA Country and turning it into a Nazi camp, Muslim community, Little Havana,Cuba, Mexico City, and who knows what else will rise up out of the immigrants.

It is the Antifa who hold up a Nazi hand, wave a German flag and burn the American Flag, and shoot cops.

All I do is talk about your constitutional rights that you don't have because if you don't know your rights, you don't have any. The constitution doesn't give anyone any rights. Your creator gave you your rights, whoever that is. If you don't know what rights your creator gave you, how can you claim any rights?

I'm kinda surprised none of the lefties on here have had the decency to wish HRC happy birthday yet. So I will. If I could cook, I would even bake her a cake (yellow). But I wouldn't put a file in it.

-- Posted by fair share on Thu, Oct 26, 2017, at 10:20 PM
  • RocketValentine,

I thought you did a pretty good job of narrowing the problems down to one group - the Nazis.

We will have to wait and see. The democrats want more gun control laws and we keep telling everyone that the criminals will always have guns, so let's see who brings the guns and who uses their gun at the Shelbyville riots.

That reminds me, did any of you (besides LBR) see where George Bush Sr. groped a couple actresses in their derriere and got told on. It seems even the Presidents need a squeeze now and them. It's going to get rough! Oh well, those are White Supremacist.

-- Posted by sui on Thu, Oct 26, 2017, at 10:33 PM
  • fair share,

    Maybe these 2 supreme court decisions will confirm your suspicions;

"We find it intolerable that one constitutional right should have to be surrendered in order to assert another."

    Simmons v. US, 390 US 389 (1968)

"If the state converts a liberty into a privilege the citizen can engage in the right with impunity" Shuttlesworth v Birmingham , 373 US 262

  • Here is a good thought for you Brain Dead Idiots. If the Anti-Fascist is such a good Moral Group of people, why don't they have Rallies themselves to explain what they are for instead of bringing sticks, clubs, bricks, rocks, paint and other liquid filled balloons along with pepper Spray canisters and gas masks and face scarves or ski masks to other people's rallies and protests?

You idiots are siding the demons. If the White are superior to other races, and we know this to be true, because the White people; Founded This Country, Claimed this Country Free from the King, Created the States, Created the Government, Created the Constitution to control the Government and the states, Created a way to trick the slaves into being slaves to the government, Created a special Citizenship for the slaves and immigrants that would take away their Unalienable rights so they could control them with their man made laws, allowed immigrants to come to America to pay the debt of the United States, until FDR took the gold away from the people and brought in Federal Reserve Notes that are not backed by anything except your money and property.

(The Federal Reserve World Bankers had Pres. J F Kennedy Assassinated because Kennedy was having Silver Certificates printed up and Silver Coins Minted so the US would have legal Silver to back up the Debt of the USA. (This would have destroyed the Federal Reserve because it offers the USA any amount of money Congress wants without having any Gold or Silver to back up the debt). All you have to do is look at the debt Obama run up as just one sitting President, to know we don't have to pay it back anytime soon.

As they buried JFK, the feds were printing the Federal Reserve Notes.

(As just one proof), LB Johnson destroyed the Silver Certificates Kennedy was printing up and melted the silver coins to remove the Silver from the coins so we did not have any legal money according to the Constitution. He even minted the Kennedy Half Dollar for a show piece, then discontinued minting the Half Dollar all together. If the Federal Reserve wasn't behind Kennedy's Assassination why was the Silver removed from the coins and Silver Certificates destroyed instead of leaving them to honor JFK?)

The White Race created the 14th Amendment after Representatives and Senators for the 11 southern States were removed by force and replaced with what are referred to as "Rump" Representatives. who would vote for the 14th Amendment, so it would be passed and ratified.

The White race created the Civil Rights that replaced the Bill of Rights for the slaves and their descendants and all immigrants per the New 14th Amendment.

The 15th Amendment recognized the rights of the slaves and immigrants to vote even thou they were citizens by the 14th Amendment which gave them the right to vote before the 15th was added.

And you want to tell me that the White Race isn't superior to any other race on the face of this earth?

If other races are Equal to the White Race, where is the law that states they are equal? Why don't other Countries have a Constitution where the people run the government if they are just as smart or equal to the White Race?

Since the White Race is the Sovereignty in this country, they must "GOVERN THEMSELVES". You don't go out to injure other people or destroy their property or you will go to jail or worse.

Being Sovereign is great when you know your Unalienable Rights. It doesn't matter what others think, You know! You can exercise them and enjoy them where others have no clue what rights they have and when or where they can use them.

Being White has its Rights just as being Black or Brown has its Privileges.

  • To all of you who plan on cheering on the White Supremacist tomorrow and call yourself a Christian read 1 John 4:20,If a man says he loves God and hate his brother,he is a liar.Sui the only folks I saw giving the Hitler salute, chanting racist slogans and holding a Nazi flag were the white supremacist.

All the preparation and closings are costing this city big time,I hope it is worth it.

-- Posted by Liveforlight on Fri, Oct 27, 2017, at 7:11 PM
  • Unreal, why do you think I have to hate someone in order to think that my life matters? You have eyes, yet you fail to see the hypocrisy of the alt left, excuse me, I mean mainstream left/antifashionistas. One of the great things about free speech is if you don't like it, you don't have to listen to it. Or you can engage in free speech to counter the ideas you don't like. When you choose neither of the reasonable options and just try to shout down and keep the other side from exercising their free speech rights, you expose the cerebral challenges you choose to live with. And when you push it to the point of violence, well then you've just gone off the reservation. I hope all you people on the left are paying your fair share of taxes so we can pay for this. It's a shame they are having to spend all that money but the city is well aware the days of the violent left allowing peaceful rallies are over. I just hope the agitators on the left get my money's worth of "police services". 🍩

-- Posted by fair share on Fri, Oct 27, 2017, at 7:57 PM
  • Yeah, because white supremacists are well known for their "peaceful rallies".

The FBI and The Department of Homeland Security reported white supremacist groups had carried out more violent attacks than any other domestic extremist group over the past 16 years — and were likely to commit more.

In the bulletin, the FBI reported that white supremacist groups were responsible for 49 homicides in 26 attacks, “more than any other domestic extremist movement.”

    Antifa hasn't killed anyone.

You're correct that this rally is costing local taxpayers a bundle and local businesses are losing thousands of dollars too.

But that blame falls squarely on the racist Nazis holding their rally here, and for our local officials for letting it happen at all.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Fri, Oct 27, 2017, at 8:45 PM
  • RocketValentine, Are you from Germany or Israel? What have the Nazis ever done to you? Why do you Hate Germans and White people so much that you want to kill? You are just proving what I said. The Anti-Fascists are the ones who Hate Americans and just about every other race for one reason or another, except the Muslim raised ISIS Fighters and their innocent family members. They are just now finding out what I have been saying all along. Hillary should be the one being investigated for concluding with Russia and giving Russia all that Classified Information in her emails. I also said Obama is just as guilty as Hillary Clinton and WahLah! Looks like they have what they need to bring charges.

Again, look at how the Anti-Fascists love Obama and Hillary. Doesn't leave any questions in my mind about Anti-Fascists.

Anit-Fascists have done everything they can think of to impeach Trump, but can't even do that right. Look at all the Hate that spewed out of their mouths. It's like Jesus said, "It's not what goes in your mouth, but what comes out of your mouth BECAUSE it comes from the Heart".

-- Posted by sui on Fri, Oct 27, 2017, at 9:51 PM
  • Why is everyone worried about Saturday. It's just another day. If the Anti-Fascists keep their mouths shut and don't start anything, like most of you other races claim you are doing and not starting the riots, it should be a very pleasant day! Maybe a little chilly!

-- Posted by sui on Fri, Oct 27, 2017, at 9:57 PM
  • Can someone answer this for me?

If "White Lives Matter" means "White Supremacists" then wouldn't "Black Lives Matter" mean "Black Supremacists"?

Or is the Anti-Fascists just making up Hate names for white people?

I will never know because no one will be allowed to hear what they have to say.

-- Posted by sui on Fri, Oct 27, 2017, at 10:08 PM
  • It is strange that fair did not say he hopes the group that has commited murder get his moneys worth of police services. There is no need to blame the left for hate encouraged by the right and their leader. They are more embolden now that the president is behind them and was frequently told by him to go off the reservation.I wonder if fair would feel the same if this was BLM.

I saw on the news that Pulaski refused to give the KKK a permit to march there.

I see also that first charges has been probably filed in the Mueller probe. Will Trump still call this fake news after indictments come down.

I am so glad to see everyone of all races and religion praying together in unity,I hope it last when this is over.

  • I feel certain the cops will protect the WLM group and the general public from the agitators. And they won't be hearing chants of "Pigs in a blanket, fry em like bacon"from that side of the street. But if BLM/LBR want to chant it, go ahead. Just remember, free speech is speech. It doesn't include carrying out that speech with illegal activity.

-- Posted by fair share on Fri, Oct 27, 2017, at 11:28 PM
  • Yes fair we know which side runs down and kills people with cars. But we will hear chants of"Jews will not replace us and Blood and soil".

Trump is forcing a hearing on a long ago debunked uranium story to deflect from Russian charges. What happened to "I'm not going to jail Hillary, she has been through enough".He has not tweeted about the charges filed in Russia probe, yet he must be in a straight jacket or drugged. He probably can not figure out how you file charges from a" fake news story".He could not even talk to kids yesterday in the white house without ugly remarks about their parents. He even remarked about them not having a "weight problem" while he himself does.

  • First I thank God for no injuries today, then I thank the law inforcement, first responders and everyone else that made this day safe. The people of Shelbyville stood together and prayed together. We do not need outsiders coming here to solve a non-existent problem with immigrants. When will these people learn that every town can handle their own problems,it is none of their business. They left here as the saying goes ,with their tails tucked between their legs and chickened out before tangling with the even larger crowd of anti-protesters in Murfreesboro.I don't think we have to worry about them anymore.

  • It was expensive but I agree that we will probably not have them again.

The good side is that our community came out looking pretty good.

If they have many more of the cancelled demonstrations they will no longer be National news. Good for us!!!!!

I know there might be a few in our community disappointed but I am glad it became a non-event. Maybe the weather "cooled" their passion?

-- Posted by stevemills on Sat, Oct 28, 2017, at 8:40 PM
  • Yes, it was expensive but no one got hurt despite the presence of antifa and BLM. Thanks to the planning and hard work of the law and order pros. Pretty low return on investment tho with only 1 arrest. When the cops rushed over to the White Lives Matter side and pulled a guy out of the crowd and hauled him off it was kind of predictable a lot of the protesters on the anti-White Lives Matter side joyously cheered. Turns out that he belonged to the anti crowd. Priceless. I'm a little surprised no one is yet accusing the police of trying to decrease turnout for the left. The ones at the checkpoints with the assault rifles had them positioned so they covered the first 3 letters of POLICE. Pretty likely at least some of the illegals planning to attend went elsewhere when they saw ICE on the cops jackets. I doubt they were intentionally suppressing attendance but even if they were, I couldn't complain.

-- Posted by fair share on Sat, Oct 28, 2017, at 11:26 PM
  • Fair where did you see Antifa and BLM protesters?I will just bet the guy arrested got paid hefty by someone. Why would anyone on the left accuse the police of trying to decrease turnout?

-- Posted by lets be real on Sun, Oct 29, 2017, at 1:57 PM
  • My understanding was the White Lives Matter were coming to hand out information and talk to people about about their White Lives Matter org.

However, the towns people were told by T-G to stay away or go to church and pray where they would be safe, but allowed the Anti-Fascists to come and shout out all the hate speech they wanted to at the WLM, so no one could hear what they were saying if they did come to listen.

It worked out great! The Biggest Hate mongers (Anti-Fascists) won by volume and the people cheered!

You sure told them "White Lives Matter" people your White Life doesn't matter one damned bit to you or your friends!

Because no one gave "WLM" a chance to exercise their God Given Right to Speak and explain anything to you, they showed their intelligence and Superiority by peacefully leaving a one-sided town who stands behind their Hate Groups (Anti-Fascists) who do not recognize other peoples rights to free speech.

No reason for WLM to stay if no one wants to learn who they are or why. Has nothing to do with cowardly running away. They didn't come to fight, but to speak. Since they couldn't speak no reason to stay.

You have to ask yourself, Who are the Idiots? Did any of you stay to listen to what the Biggest Hate Group (Anit-Fascists) had to say? Did they Entertain you with what their purpose in life is? Will they let you speak out when you want to speak freely, or will they shut your free speech down also because you want to talk about some cause? You all need to stand back and take a long look at what you are rooting for.

You are sacrificing YOUR Freedom of Speech when you back the Anti-Fascists. This is just one example of surrendering your God given rights. Another right you surrendered: The Bill of Rights does not say the people have a right to keep and bare arms "except" when they go to a White Lives Matter rally vs Anti-Fascist groups.

All in all, I am happy everyone co-operated with the law and the authorities and didn't get hurt. The White Loves Matter governed themselves and left without any violence in a peaceful manner, unless someone isn't telling the truth.

  • Unreal, I don't doubt a bit the guy got paid. But I doubt Soros paid him hefty. Now, follow closely please. When the cops uniform partially blocks the wording so you see the letters I, C, and E in that order then, assuming they can read English, illegals might tend to not approach. If the lefties realized there was potential for them to miss out on their important voting bloc they would surely whine.

Serious question unreal. Are you the Pinball Wizard? You know, that deaf, dumb, and blind kid? Did you not see little goofs dressed in black running around with their faces covered with brightly colored handkerchiefs/underwear? You know, the ones burning the weed? But thank goodness they did. The weed probably did as much as anything else to keep them from getting violent. Did you not see the white people who don't believe their lives matter holding the BLM signs or hear them shouting "Black Lives Matter"?

Sui, the only free speech the left is interested in is the speech that follows the Party line. They also think free speech includes being able to not allow someone else to speak. I would say it was due to failure of the education system, but the indoctrination has worked the way they planned.

-- Posted by fair share on Sun, Oct 29, 2017, at 6:04 PM
  • Sui and fair so now the people of Shelbyville are hate groups.LOL I doubt the white anti-protesters think their lives don't matter, makes no sense.Ask the pub in Brentwood what those peaceful white supremacists did there Saturday. The cowards got upset with a biracial couple and punched the woman in the face then fled again, she has filed charges.

Trump is tweeting Hillary should be investigated, someone tell him and his sheep HILLARY IS NOT PRESIDENT.Three top Trump campaign officials indicted for multiple charges from conspiracy against America to money laundering to making false statements to FBI,one even confessed. Now lets see if one will serve Trump on a platter.I am sure Trump is already working on a pardon, which wont work for the state charges.Trump tweets Manaforts charges happened before he hired him, wrong, was going on up until 2017.He also stated that "there was no Russian involvement in the election ever".So how does he explain accusing the Dems of it? Does Trump still think these indictments are "FAKE NEWS"?Trying to deflect to Hillary will not work.

That may be getting ready to change about "no former presidents occupy any cells there".Three down and more to go.Republicans in the white house say Trump is having a tantrum.

Maybe next time he will choose not to pose a threat to the sound system. They try to make it sound like the guy that disturbed the peace and got himself arrested was assaulted. And they try to make it sound like the police were denying free speech rights to the alt left. When they make up stuff like that it makes it hard to take anything they say seriously.

  • LBR,

You are the very last person who should be claiming someone else doesn't know any better..... about anything.

As usual, I'll dumb it down so you might understand.

You said Trump and his followers should be told Hillary isn't president when they say she should be investigated.

I know it must seem amazing to those with Trump derangement syndrome, but federal laws apply to everyone, not just presidents.

You then tried to claim some were calling for Hillary's impeachment in a pathetic attempt to distract from your ignorance.

I'd love to see you cite a source of people calling for Hillary's impeachment, but by now I know you live in an alternative reality where facts are absent and asking you to substantiate your idiotic claims is a waste of bandwith.

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 31, 2017, at 3:08 PM
  • Fair, It did take a long time for the racists to get thru their checkpoints because they all gathered together in the parking lot and then came thru as a group. Also, a lot of them were sent back to their vehicles to take back weapons they were trying to bring in.

I would like to know why they were able to talk the sheriffs into letting them bring in their shields and Nazi helmets when those were on the list of things police had originally said were banned.

There were media and folks taking pictures on both sides of the street. The two guys that got attacked on the racists side were attacked for no other reason than they weren't racists, but they were on that side of the street.

I commend the T-G reporter that was over there too that got some excellent video footage while putting his own safety in jeopardy.

Did you end up going. I did see a guy on the counter protesters side wearing a red Trump MAGA hat. He was standing towards the back of the crowd and you could tell he felt out of place. But the thing is, nobody on our side attacked him. I didn't even see anyone say anything rude to him.

After the racists saw how outnumbered they were, and were told that the cops in Murfreesboro weren't even going to let them bring in their Nazi helmets or shields, they high tailed it outta there.

Reports are that several of them ended up at a bar & grill in Brentwood where they assaulted an interracial couple.

But yeah, just a bunch of peaceful protesters excising their "free speech". 👌

  • Waiting for some libs here (not naming names) to exclaim how we need truck control. Who needs more than three tires and 25mph? 8 people would still be alive if we were limited to bicycles.

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 31, 2017, at 5:44 PM
  • That was an immoral truck that killed those people. Surely they would still be alive if the driver had to ride a bike instead. Course, being from the Balkins there must be a Trump connection somewhere.

RV, were you one of the ones smoking the wacky tobacky? I ask because there were 2 guys there wearing a red MAGA hat. The other guy didn't seem to feel out of place either. Most of the time I was casually leaning against the fence. Perhaps you confused my usual look (a combination of boredom and disapproval of ignorance) for a look of feeling out of place. I felt totally in place. I knew I had every right to be there since I knew I will be paying more for the shindig than most people that were there. It was interesting seeing the antifa up close and personal. I really did wonder if Halloween had come early. They were trying to look tough and intimidating but I really couldn't keep from laughing a few times when a group of them walked right in front of me. I'm sure some of their mom's were getting p o'd they weren't back for lunch yet. It may surprise you but there were several Trump supporters on the anti white lives matter side. I did have some interesting conversations with some of the libs. I actually wondered if you were one of them. A few of them carried on intelligent calm exchange of ideas. The best one tho was an older loudmouth idiot woman. And no, I didn't wonder if she was unreal, because this one was white. She impolitely asked me to move across the street after exaggeratedly reading the front of my hat (MAGA). I asked her if she could show me where it said I could not be Against racism if I was For the USA. Well, then she told me I Had to go to the other side. When I asked her if she was advocating segregation, she said "YES" !!! So of course I had to tell her no, I would be staying right there. So this constitutional scholar said she was going to get a cop to remove me. I begged her to please, please go get a cop. Don't know if she tried to get one or not but didn't see any more of her.

  • I think you might be on to something there, Mike.

Since vehicles(cars/trucks) and guns kill about the same amount of Americans each year, maybe we should legislate them the same.

License and Registration - Your gun has to be registered and licensed just like your car. You can get your learners permit at age 15 and after a written and skill test at age 16 you can get your license.

    Renewal is every 4 years.

Different licensing for different weapons. Just like you have to have CDL's to drive trucks, you need more testing to own and operate semi-automatic weapons.

You also need to carry insurance.

Tax ammunition heavily the way they tax gasoline and prevent online sales.

    Sound good?

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Tue, Oct 31, 2017, at 7:43 PM
  • I am curious, Fair.

You've made it very clear that you align yourself more with the "white lives matter" crowd than the "Antifa" and "violent counter-protesters".

So why wouldn't you have the balls to go across the street and stand with them?

I saw another guy across the street with his MAGA hat on too.

You could have possibly made a new friend.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Tue, Oct 31, 2017, at 7:59 PM
  • RV

I see you don't know any more about vehicle laws than you do about guns.

There is no requirement to register or license a vehicle before you own it or while you own it. Those laws only come into play when you operate them on public roadways.

People already test and get licenses to carry their guns in public. That license is controlled by the same department of safety that controls driver's licenses.

There were about 10,000 more vehicle deaths than gun deaths last year while there are about 50 million more guns than cars.

Also the liberal lie of online gun sales is just that, a lie.

Any gun bought online must be shipped to a FFL holder in your state, who will do a background check on you.

Cars sell on ebay and other online sevices everyday with no background checks whatsoever.

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 31, 2017, at 8:10 PM
  • 99.9 percent of the people that buy cars buy them for the purpose of operating them on public roadways.

    That's their purpose.

Just because you don't carry your gun in public all the time doesn't mean it shouldn't still be registered and insured just like your car.

Because it can still kill someone. That's it's purpose.

Homicides, suicides, and accidental gun deaths in the home and on private property happen daily.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Tue, Oct 31, 2017, at 8:39 PM
  • Moving the goalposts because your argument fell flat?

People are killed by cars every day, more than guns by 10,000 last year.

    10,000

Remember when you were inconsolable about .000006?

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 31, 2017, at 8:47 PM
  • I agree cars and guns can both be dangerous.

That's why I suggested the same restrictions to own and operate them.

    Basically, license, registration, and insurance.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Tue, Oct 31, 2017, at 8:59 PM
  • Yes, RV, you are kinda curious. I don't see how it would take balls to stand on the other side. And if it weren't such a logistical hassle I might have done it, at least for a while. I walked there and by the time I got to KFC, I was too tired to walk the extra mile or more what with street closures and entrance sites. I do agree more with the idea of white lives matter than I do with the idea of protesting against white lives matter. But I don't agree that anyone is better or worse than anyone else based on the color of their skin. Anyway, it was amusing getting to see the goofs up close and personal like. And I did make a few new like minded friends and even one libtard friend.

-- Posted by fair share on Tue, Oct 31, 2017, at 9:02 PM
  • And I pointed out they already are almost identically legislated.

Now for libs not to be screaming hypocrites, they need to call for the ban of HIGH CAPACITY trucks, AUTOMATIC transmissions, and the sale of mufflers.

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Oct 31, 2017, at 9:04 PM
  • All those regulations and taxes and people still manage to kill?? But, how? Why? There must not be enough government control and regulations!

More regulations and more taxes, yep that will fix it.,. No really!! That will fix it this time! We just need more government, more regulations, more taxes, and more government run programs! Then, we will all be safe and happy.

THAT is the liberal mindset. SMH

-- Posted by Liveforlight on Tue, Oct 31, 2017, at 9:15 PM
  • Mike, a handgun carry permit is nothing like the license and registration required to operate a car.

There are around 125 million gun owners in America that own about 200-300 million guns.

Only 14 million have carry permits.

And none are required to have insurance.

So your joke about them being legislated the same is just that. A joke.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Wed, Nov 1, 2017, at 5:09 AM
  • Fair, you can give lame excuses about why you couldn't find your way to right side of the street.

    But it's ok, I understand.

I work with people like you everyday and even have family members that are closet racists.

They will use racial slurs about minorities behind closed doors with friends and family, but not out in public where a person of color might actually hear it.

The real reasons you stood on the same side of the road as the counter-protesters than standing with the white supremacists that you admittedly align with, was fear and shame.

It was easy to see which side were the true violent ones. One side had church folks singing hymns and songs of love while the other side had Nazi helmets and shields and screamed racial slurs.

And we know how awkward it would be if some of your neighbors, folks from church, etc., would see pictures and video of you standing next to Klan guys at their rally. I get it.

But as messed up as those people are, I almost..almost, have more respect for them than I do for you.

They have something that you don't.

    Conviction.

At least they are true to themselves and don't hide their racism in the closet.

That's why I said that you didn't have the balls to stand with them.

You're talking out of the wrong orifice again. Written test for knowledge and a demonstration of proficiency is required for both.

That more people choose to have a driver's license is irreleveant, and a poor attempt at distraction.

Please explain how an insurance policy would have made a scintilla of difference in Las Vegas, or anywhere else.

-- Posted by quietmike on Wed, Nov 1, 2017, at 6:45 AM
  • Mike, people don't "choose" to have a drivers license, registration, and insurance to operate their car.

    It's a requirement.

The written test for knowledge and demonstration of proficiency you reference is only for the small percentage of gun owners that want to have a conceal/carry permit. It's not a requirement for all gun owners.

And as we've talked about before, no laws of any kind, car or gun laws, will completely eliminate deaths.

    But they help.

Maybe a registration process might have sent out some red flags when the Las Vegas shooter purchased over 30 high powered weapons in the course of a year.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Wed, Nov 1, 2017, at 8:00 AM
  • They were already registered. How else do you think the government found out how many guns he'd bought in a certain amount of time?

You're argument was guns should be regulated just as cars. I've pointed out how they are three times now. You want to change the discussion to how many people have permits as your initial argument fell apart.

RV-Kroger's milk should be priced the same as Walmart

Mike - They are the same price.

RV-Yeah but more people shop at Walmart.

This is your "position" with some of the words changed.

-- Posted by quietmike on Wed, Nov 1, 2017, at 8:42 AM
  • Wow, RV. I never new a real life psychic before. But if you really are a psychic then you need to clean out your ears. Or put new wire in the tap. Because you are mishearing what I say in the privacy of my own home. But go ahead and keep calling me a racist. After all, I am a white conservative that believes my life matters. What more proof could you need? And the fact that I support Trump and America just seals the deal. But I will give you the benefit of doubt and assume that if you had the ability to think outside the Party lines, you might be able to see the world rationally.

-- Posted by fair share on Wed, Nov 1, 2017, at 9:34 AM
  • mike, they believe his guns were all purchased legally. But that doesn't mean they were registered. The government found that out thru store purchase records and video surveillance cameras. They also believe that some were purchased at guns shows.

I've read your price of milk/gun laws analogy several times, but still can't make heads or tails of it.

But here's one for you too....

You accidentally wreck your car. The police show up.

Police officer - Can I see your Drivers license, registration, and proof of insurance?

You - I don't have any of that

Police officer - I'm sorry son, we're taking you to jail an impounding your vehicle.

You accidentally shoot yourself in the foot. The police show up.

Police officer - Can I see your gun operators license, registration, and insurance?

You - I don't have any of that

Police officer - That's ok, son. It's not required. Sorry about your foot.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Wed, Nov 1, 2017, at 10:12 AM
  • Fair, it doesn't take a psychic to read your posts on here. Your own words are all the proof I need to figure you out.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Wed, Nov 1, 2017, at 10:38 AM
  • RV,

One more time for the terminally dense.

License and registration isn't required to own a gun or car.

They are required for both when they are used in public.

Commercial licenses have higher requirements for both.

The milk analogy points out how you like changing the criteria when your original argument won't hold water.

The restrictions on guns and cars are very similar, yet you now want to make a case that fewer people have gun permits.

If the question is similar restrictions, that is a yes/no question regardless if no one has a permit or everyone does.

-- Posted by quietmike on Wed, Nov 1, 2017, at 12:05 PM
  • I'm just saying your comparisons are unrealistic. Your saying that the only time a person needs license, registration, and insurance on a vehicle is when you drive it.

    Well, no s#it.

So let's say the same thing for a gun. You only need a license, registration, and insurance if you ever plan on shooting it.

If it's just a collective piece or wall hanger, you don't need it.

    Would that be fair?

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Wed, Nov 1, 2017, at 12:41 PM
  • No. Only when you drive it on a public roadway.

As for my comparisons being unrealistic, you'd do well to remember it was your suggestion that guns be regulated like cars.

  • The lastest tragedies? You do know the casino was a gun free zone, as are most mass shootings.

-- Posted by quietmike on Thu, Nov 2, 2017, at 9:36 AM
  • Of course...the standard conservative solution to mass shootings...MORE GUNS!!

That 85 year old Walmart greeter with the shaky hands and probably in the first stages of Alzheimer's should have definitely been packing some heat.

And all the other good guys with guns could open fire too on the bad guy.

Somebody's bound to hit him in the crossfire.

-- Posted by RocketValentine on Thu, Nov 2, 2017, at 10:06 AM
  • As opposed to the standard liberal solution to everything.... whine, cry, and beg for government to take even more responsibility off your back because acting like an actual adult, as opposed to someone who simply survived until their 18th birthday, is much too difficult

-- Posted by quietmike on Thu, Nov 2, 2017, at 10:55 AM
  • Calm down, RV. Here is a simple solution for you. Just stay away from walmart. It would give you more time to read the koran. If you spend as much time at walmart as most, it would even free up time to help flatbed truck guy from NY spread the Good News of the religion of peace.

-- Posted by fair share on Thu, Nov 2, 2017, at 12:37 PM
  • Fair what kind of "good news of the religion of peace did the white man spread that killed 58 americans? Religion of the killer does matter to some when they are white, but everybody runs for their guns when they are brown, even though white males are the biggest mass shooters in America and are always labeled mentally ill.

-- Posted by lets be real on Thu, Nov 2, 2017, at 1:31 PM
  • Well, they arrested the crazy white gun nut that opened fire at the Walmart.

Not sure if he's "mentally ill", but he is a registered republican. Go figure.

-- Posted by quietmike on Thu, Nov 2, 2017, at 3:08 PM
  • Ok, I give up. Since the guy that killed 8 people in NY was white, his religion makes no difference? Sounds pretty racist to me, unreal. But since you claim to be a black female I fully understand it could not possibly be a racist or sexist comment.

Congrats to the dems. They sure must be breathing a sigh of relief. Now that a "crazy white gun nut" that may or may not be "mentally ill", and is a registered Republican, has killed a few people, they can forget about all the previous mass murderers that have been registered dems. Enjoy!

-- Posted by fair share on Thu, Nov 2, 2017, at 3:23 PM
  • The guy who killed 8 people in Ny is an Uzbek,a turkic ethnic muslim not white.

Remember when Trump said "I will hire the best people".Seems like all those "best people" will be going to jail.Even the Att Gen Sessions all of a sudden finally admitted today that he remembers now discussing Trump/Putin meeting with Papadopolus which he denied before congress. If he can not remember something this important he should step down before he goes to jail for perjury. This administration will go down in history as worse than Nixon's.If everyone in his campaign and administration had dealings with Russia and he says he was unaware then he is lying or ignorant.

  • Trump`s tweet that the NY killer should get the death penalty probably just helped the killer's case. The killers lawyer can have a field day with this.Presidents usually steer clear of comments on pending cases that can influence possible jurors and a fair trial.

Trump`s nominee for agriculture, with no experience,Clovis withdraws over ties to Russia probe.Seems he talked to Mueller team and the grand jury without informing the white house. Now Manafort has been linked to organized crime in Russia.Mueller is going from the bottom to the top.

As for more ignorance... Presidents usually steer clear on commenting pending cases...

The shooting of Mike Brown stains the heart of black children.

The police acted stupidly in Cambridge.

All Americans should be deeply troubled by the fatal shootings of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Philando Castile in Falcon Heights, Minnesota.

When incidents like these occur, there’s a big chunk of our fellow citizens that feels as if because of the color of their skin, they are not being treated the same—and that hurts,

  • "If they were why do some have a problem with all those white people crossing the border?" By unreal

The reality is, it doesn't matter what color they are. If the are coming here to kill us quickly (the "peaceful" muslims) or slowly (by being democrats and killing our economy) they need to stay on the other side of the border. Unreal, if you honestly don't see that flatbed guy is white, you might want to see your eye doc. Maybe they could fix your color blindness. Then you might have a chance to get back into the world of reality.

It really is too bad the DNC colluded with hillary against poor old burney. It did them more harm than their collusion with the Russians helped. Had they done neither, it is possible hillary would have won. On second thought, it was a good thing they did.

  • It was only 2 weeks ago that Trump bragged about how good his memory was. Now he claims he can not remember what was said sitting at a meeting with his top advisors a few months ago, how convenient. That is okay because others there remember and they are singing like birds. They discussed going to Russia with Trump and Sessions sitting there.

Presidents remarks in the past never mention the Death Penalty for anyone. It is scary to hear that he does not know about the branches of government. He is "disappointed and frustrated" because he can not walk into the FBI and DOJ and force them into anything or say "You are fired". When will he learn he is not everyones boss and he works for the people of America.Waiting to see when He throws Kushner under the bus since it looks like he is next then Jr.It will not be long before we will be saying "Crooked Trump".

-- Posted by lets be real on Fri, Nov 3, 2017, at 6:39 PM
  • Well, Fare; you can thank loose lips for the lenient sentence. Trump's pretrial declaration of Bergdahl's guilt, and call for unconstitutional penalties, would have been overlooked, since he made the statements as a candidate. Given the opportunity (and instructions) to say nothing as president, he chose instead to double down. The judge did not recuse himself or declare a mistrial, stating that Trumps remark's did not prejudice him, but he considered them as mitigating factors in setting the sentence. Not my opinion, this is what the judge said. If you want to be outraged, be outraged at the immature clown who caused the sentence. As yet, we do not live in a dictatorship.

Trump is itching to be a dictator. He said today"I'm the only one that matters" meaning he alone should run this country. He needs tutoring in civics. He does not even know that pressuring the DOJ to charge his political opponent is abuse of power. He is the president ,why is he so afraid of Clinton.

  • LBR,

You have a source showing this forgiveness?

-- Posted by quietmike on Fri, Nov 3, 2017, at 9:22 PM
  • Laz,

I'm unaware of Trump saying to throw him out of a plane. I did see him say Bergdahl should be shot and Trump saying in the good old he'd be executed.

-- Posted by quietmike on Fri, Nov 3, 2017, at 9:30 PM
  • QM; Yeah, he said it. Even Fox News reported it was a problem when he doubled down: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/10/17/bergdahl-trump-has-reaffirmed-criticism-tai...

I don't have a problem with people who actually served in the military speaking their mind. But, the way I see it, my family sacrificed a lot in the wars the Trump family avoided. And I don't care to hear big talk out of a chicken hawk. As long as we are reminiscing about the "good old days," back in the "good old days" we would have scorned a draft dodger like Trump.

-- Posted by lazarus on Fri, Nov 3, 2017, at 10:06 PM
  • The link didn't mention him being thrown out of a plane, only "harsh punishment".

After searching, I did see a blurb where trump said the swap with gitmo prisoners was bad and Bergdahl should have been dropped out of a plane and given back to the Taliban.

    Bergdahl was airborne qualified.

I do agree Trump's comments are a bit tainted by his history, but many vets and those currently serving have voiced the same opinion. With 6 soldiers being killed and others injured searching for this turd, a DD and 10,000 fine does seem light.

It's not like Bergdahl was going to walk home from Afghanistan anyway.

-- Posted by quietmike on Fri, Nov 3, 2017, at 10:20 PM
  • From the Fox News article: Trump went further while campaigning for president, repeatedly calling Bergdahl a "dirty, rotten traitor" who deserved to be executed by firing squad or thrown out of a plane without a parachute.

-- Posted by lazarus on Fri, Nov 3, 2017, at 11:50 PM
  • Well, if George Washington was Commander in Chief, he would probably shoot the traitor himself. Unless he was afraid the historical revisionists would tear down all his statues. I doubt it takes bergdahl long to get himself into more trouble.

  • That is what real "fake news" looks like, Fare. Everyone has jumped on the term, to use for any news they do not like. But this is the real deal. A pretty much total fabrication.

Your "Bolshevik Revolution" was never anything but a creation of the Far Right internet, with their love of imaginary enemies. Altho I understand it was picked up by Fox News, reinforcing their reputation of having the lowest threshold of fact checking among the mainstream media. Rather than reveling in your imaginary victory, you should be embarrassed by being taken in for real. Some minor protests were held, as planned, and lightly attended. Because your imaginary enemies do not exist.... "commie antifa snowflakes?" You do yourself a disservice. You are capable of higher levels of discourse than that. But you did get had.

And I must have dreamed seeing a busy road shut down at rush hour by people with their faces covered and signage indicating 11/4/17 would begin the revolution. • LBR,

As usual, you're only telling half the story. And one that's already been addressed.

Trump reversed an illegal obama order that allowed people to be denied their constitutional rights without due process.

If a judge declares someone mentally incompetent, they will still be denied a gun.

Under obama's plan, simply having some bureaucrat pencil your name on a list would do it, with the person never having their day in court to defend themselves.

A good analogy would be, since people on welfare have demonstrated they can't make good life choices, they should be denied the right to vote.

    Sound good LBR?

The shooter had a domestic violence conviction in the Air Force, but they failed to notify the FBI as required by law, so he was never flagged in his background check.

Good to know that in some circles beating a woman and a child is considered in the mainstream of mental health. I do have to agree with you, tho, that escaping from a mental institution could be a very rational and mentally healthy thing to do. Please tell the lady that is still alive but had the gunman approaching her when he was distracted by the hero's gunfire that the armed Good Samaritan didn't save her life. Yes, the gunman had shot everyone, but he wasn't finished killing everyone. Too bad for the libs that the hero doesn't fit into their world view. Thank God he does for the rest of us. Now for a word to the heathens who mock prayer. May God have mercy on your soul.

But this election is supposedly a watershed event?

  • You can't just put someone in a psych hospital. They have to agree. If not, you have to show they are a harm to self or others. Before you can lock them up. The fact that he escaped indicates, at least to me, that he was there against his will.

Unreal, I'm afraid I'm wasting my breath, but since I care about you I'll give it a shot. If you or your parents paid anyone a penny or more to teach you civics, immediately demand every red cent (plus interest) back. A right is something that is inherently yours. A right isn't something you can demand someone else give you. If you forcibly take someone's money, property, or service, that is called theft. It ain't called a right.

Which part of the constitution guarantees insurance?

A right cannot include forcing someone else to work for you.

Democrats have had trouble understanding that concept since at least the 1800s.

As a black woman, what difference do you see in forcing someone to provide you with medical care vs. forcing someone to pick your crops?

In both cases, not forcing them to work for you would cause monumental and potentially fatal consequences.

  • Americans are forced to have car insurance quitemike and I will bet when they forced you to take medicare you took it.Providing some one with health care to save their life is no comparison to picking crops.

  • No one forces anyone to take Medicare. Americans are not forced to have car insurance. If you choose to drive, you either choose to buy insurance or choose to drive illegally.

"Providing some one with health care to save their life is no comparison to picking crops."

-- Posted by lets be real

What is the difference if you force them to do it against their will? How about we force one person to pick crops in order to provide health insurance to someone else? How is either one not slavery? Doesn't surprise me a bit to hear a democrat promote slavery while calling it something else. Who will no doubt claim to be anti-slavery. What a mixed up world we live in.

On a happier note, Happy Anniversary to all you deplorables. I have fond memories of 365 days ago, almost to the hour, when the libtard talking heads started their whining and wailing that still persists. Music to my ears.

If crops were the way you fed your family, then not having those crops picked would cause you to starve.

The simple fact is democrats will ALWAYS find some way to justify their laziness and why they should be able to make someone else work for them.

You do have to wonder about the mental faculties of a black person who on one hand decries the long term effects of antebellum slavery, yet supports the DNC and their modern slavery.

Speaking of Russian meddling in the election, "At this point what difference does it make?" Hillary still lost despite Putin's help, despite Donna Brazier's help, despite Debbie Whassup? Now the bible yelling homophobic pervert Roy Moore is accused of child molestation in several case and he thinks muslims and homosexuals should not run for office. Some of his top supporters are invoking the bible in his defense by saying "Mary was a teenager and Joseph was an older man. Will the "christian" conservative right uphold this and overlook it.Sean Hannity said it was consensual and there was only kissing. This child was 14 years old and Moore was married. He will fit in well with the other person in the white house that has sexual assault cases coming up.

  • Good story unreal. Just curious. Did you happen to attend Sunday School when you were a child? If so, did you ever sing "Jesus Loves The Little Children"? It is a song kids sing about how much Jesus loves them. Seeing as how He loves them so much, I'd bet He would frown on killing them. Until you quit advocating for their extermination, you might want to think about not getting into "moral sickness" discussions.

  • See how brain dead the people are getting, and that includes trump as well.

Trump said IF Roy Moore was guilty, he should step down and leave the Senate race. Everyone else is agreeing.

It's just plain stupid! If he steps out of the race, he is admitting he is guilty of the crime! Who is stupid enough to do that except a democrat? But then they confess to their crimes and Mueller just keeps on investigating Trumps Admin..

As a parent, I learned that when the kids reach the magical Title of Teenager, That is the age of 13 for the idiots. These kids are not young adults yet, but at that age, the girls become boy crazy. I have seen it over and over again. It's a wonder more girls aren't raped. They want to run away from home and live on their own or take up with an older man. That's how the sex trafficing got so big so fast.

I am waiting to see just how many famous movie stars will lose their fame and fortune because they came forward with stories of how they became rich and famous by agreeing to having sex with the producers and managers. They won't be getting very many new parts. They will be given to the younger more attractive women. When are all the Gays going to come out and squeal on all the sex they had with movie stars?

Humm! And we are suppose to be a Christian Nation!

I have read accounts in the bible that disagrees with "God Loves All The Children". That was just a song the Christians sang. God Told Moses to go into the promise land and kill all the people including the women and children and all their animals and take no one as a slave. These were people who worshiped false gods.

If you asked Jesus what he would do, he would say kill every Isis fighter, his wife and all his children and animals. Wait a minute, I said that last year and all the people said no, you can't kill all those innocent cockroaches.

Even Trump's Coalition is not killing the cockroaches. They just let them walk out of their town to go and kill in other towns. That is what happens when you don't do as God would do.

-- Posted by sui on Fri, Nov 10, 2017, at 4:23 PM
  • I try to stay out of these conversations but I don't believe what God told Moses can relate to Jesus' teachings. Nor do I think you really believe Jesus would teach as you claim sui.

You enjoy making controversial statements and occasionally you bait me into responding. And as a famous character once said, "That's all I have to say about that".

  • Matthew 19:14King James Version (KJV)

14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

My belief is that Jesus would only kill them if God told him to. Cause if God says do it, it isn't a sin to do it. But it is a sin to not do it. And Jesus is the only human to not sin. The simple minded might read Matt. 19:14 and think Jesus was saying to make the little children suffer. He was not! So if we need to kill the ISIS children, let's do it quickly and as painlessly as possible so they don't suffer. Just think of it as a delayed abortion.

-- Posted by fair share on Fri, Nov 10, 2017, at 9:39 PM
  • Fair I know he would frown on refusing to feed them once born, you call them and their parents moochers because some working poor need help while making minimum wage. For myself I would never have an abortion, for everyone else it is between them and God.Sui needs to go to bible study.Jesus said love your neighbor, and he did not mean just the one next door.

Roy Moore said "I don't remember dating any girl without the permission of her mother" on the Sean Hannity Show.He gave these girls alcohol. The interview was a disaster and he dug a hole for himself even with Hannity trying to help him. Then he said he does not recall dating teenage girls which means ,I might have. Then he said we should listen to the 16 and 17 year old because he did not have sex with them.

So Sui's answer is blame the child.Fair`s answer is like the child whose mother caught him stealing, when asked why he did it his answer was Timmy next door did it.In other words the answer to anything bad a republican does,it is okay because a democrat did it.

    I'm still waiting.

As far as the Bible's teachings, nowhere in it will you find instructions to steal from one neighbor who you think has "too much" to help another neighbor in need. Every verse about charity in the Bible is a personal admonition, meaning that you are supposed to help, not leave it up to some agency or government program.

When Jesus challenged the rich young ruler to sell all he owned and give the money to the poor, and he didn't, Jesus let him walk away. Even God doesn't interfere with free will. But liberal democrats in their hubris think they know better.

  • John 1 New International Version (NIV)

    The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.

12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—

13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Isis murders Christians, God's children for people who don't know who God's Children are.

I spoke ahead of my time. Jesus would say turn the other cheek. However you have to remember that he wants all the revenge for himself. He is going to get it when he returns after the Christians have been beheaded here in America. Revelations explains God's plans using Jesus Christ and his angels. Then you tell me Jesus isn't going to kill women and children right along with the men. I doubt 1 Million people will survive his coming. Only 8 people survived the flood after 1,656 years of population explosion. 4,491 years later we have a population of almost 7.5 Billion people in this world. You remove 144,000 who are raptured up and you still have almost 7.5 Billion people on earth for the angels to cast into the fire, less what Jesus kills himself. There are only 144,000 who are raptured up yet over 300 Million Whites, Blacks, Browns, Muslims and all the other American immigrants claim they will be saved and raptured up into the clouds to meet Jesus in the air. That should take everyone a long while Figuring that stupid scenario out!

We can save a lot of American lives if we just kill the Isis families now. Look at what Trump is doing! The Isis is allowed to leave town and go settle in another town they can terrorize. Now that's real smart thinking!

So to answer your response, Jesus is God and he is going to kill the women and children of the sinners if they are sinners right along with the sinners. And we are not just talking about Isis in the last days. We are talking about 8 Billion people or more. And that isn't even Judgement day according to the bible.

  • And just how many Stimulus packages did Obama use to buy Jobs for auto industries, Finance Companies and The Obama administration defended a loan of over $500 million to a Silicon Valley-based solar panel company that recently went bankrupt despite warnings.

He would have helped the economy better had he just given all that money to the people. That wasn't his intentions. He planned to destroy the Sovereignty of these united States of America.

Look at the Biilions of dollars he spent on smart bombs to kill a hand full of terrorists. The Billions he pad to Pakistan and still couldn't get the doctor released from prison who helped Obama get Osama Bin Laden. The millions he raised in cash money to pay Iran to release our navy who was told to stand down. The billions of dollars he spent on arming the Syrians who were being bombed by Syrian Army, Iran and Russia, yet kept on giving arms to them. He was just wasting American Dollars to bankrupt America even more.

Of course, Obama IS half Black, half White Supremacist and 100% Muslim, and when Trump has to undo everything he did to make America Great Again, that should tell you something about your hero. Obama added regulations that put companies out of business. He stopped drilling offshore oil companies but help finance Brazil drill offshore with $2 Billion and promised to buy oil from them. Less than a month after President Obama visited Brazil in March to make a pitch for oil, Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff was off to Beijing to sign oil contracts with two huge state-owned Chinese companies. So much for America's getting ahead. The truth is Obama was all for environment protection with treaties with France etc., Obama looked at it as if we finance drilling in other countries that doesn't count against the environment protection in the U.S.. Pretty low down dog huh? well, that's Obama.

  • LBR

Scroll on up to Rev 14 and you will see who the 144,000 really are.

verse 3....No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. (these 144,000 were TAKEN from the earth).

4, These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb.

5 No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.

(not only are they from the 12 tribes, but are virgins who have never been defiled by women) (so we know they are Jews and not white, black or brown Americans) and (they follow Jesus wherever he goes) (that would mean forever). They are also (FIRSTFRUITS to God and the Lamb).

Jesus was the Firstfruit to God when he was resurrected.

1 Corinthians 15:20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

15:23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.

So these 144,000 would be resurrected, because all people will be resurrected. Since the bible tells us that they will be firstfruits to God and Jesus, we can understand that NO ONE has ever gone to heaven until these FIRSTFRUITS have been resurrected and gone to be with Jesus forever. Yes these 144,000 go wherever Christ goes so they would go to heaven when Jesus goes to heaven. They will go with Christ when he comes down and destroys Babylon and commerce and banking all in just one hour and kills the sinners. So you see lbr, these 144,000 do go to heaven and anywhere else Christ goes forever.

Now go back to Rev chapter 1. John is in the spirit and told to write what he sees and hears.

In verse 19 “Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. John isn't witnessing everything at this time. some is to come later.

Chapter 4 John is in the spirit again and is invited up into heaven by Jesus,

    1. After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

(What must take place AFTER This. This wasn't happening right at that time but was to happen After This, the 7 churches).

John saw 4 Living Creatures and 24 Elders around the throne.

In chapter 6 verse 9 John sees the souls who were slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.

(These are the people who will be in the First Resurrection, so that plainly proves that they have not been resurrected yet). John is having a Vision in the spirit but not experiencing this in real life. These people too numerous to count will be resurrected in the first phase of the resurrection. These Souls will reign with Christ for 1,000 years. (See Rev 20:4) Only 1,000 years with Christ, yet the 144,000 go where ever Christ goes forever.

in verse 5 everyone else is resurrected AFTER the 1,000 years, at the exact same time Satan is released to go out and deceive the nations again.

  • Since these are thoughts, here is a thought; Rand Paul is pretty good at knowing the US Constitution and the Supreme court decisions that explain our rights to us.

Rand Paul believes as I do about your right to life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Rand Paul lives in a gated community.

While some neighborhoods can cause a home's value to fall, others, such as gated communities, help homes resist market trends and retain value over time.

However, the Constitution protects your rights to own land and do whatever you want on your own property.

Rand Paul wants to grow a Pumpkin Patch on his property. If Rand Paul can claim his Sovereignty, he can do anything he wants on his own property without interference from the government. As long as he doesn't damage other people's property or injure his neighbors he can do anything he likes legally. He signed a contract with the community when he bought his home and property, so is he violating his contract? Depends on just how much he knows about the law. 99% of all contracts can be cancelled without any legal problems what so ever, if you know the law.

I would assume Mr Paul's Pumpkin Patch is bringing the neighbor's property value down. They paid big money to be in a community that would protect their property value.

Since Dr. Rand Paul is a senator, I imagine his neighbors think that he thinks he is above the law and can do anything he wants to because he is a Senator. Well, he can, but not because he is a Senator, but because he is a sovereign who understand his rights.

Does that make him a white supremacist or just a sovereign man who knows how to claim and reserve his rights (Legally)?

Which side shouts down and threatens violence to prohibit conservative speakers?

Which side sues to get classic books removed from school curriculum because they have words that make them feel bad?

Which side supports modern day segregation, because their followers need "safe spaces" lest reality intrude on their groupthink?

Which party wants to use government to force broadcasters to abide by a ironically named "fairness doctrine"?

EVERYTHING liberals do is based on forcing someone to do something, yet they accuse others of doing what they do, just like Hillary's election shenanigans.

Seems Trump Jr secretly traded messages with Wikileaks during 2016 campaign and Trump tweeted about the Podesta emails 15 minutes later after one of them. The dominos have started to fall all the way to the oval office. This is one reason Trump tries so hard to discredit the media because he knows what is coming and hopes no one believes any thing that comes out.He will have his 30% even if he gives Putin our nuclear codes.

  • BTW Beverly Nelson the 5th accuser concerning Roy Moore is a Trump supporter.ijs

  • May be time for some to turn the tv off and not open a paper for a while. In the interest of not blowing a gasket. Those poor dominos been falling for a year now. They must be getting tired.

  • If Moore had just gotten drunk, drove a young girl into a lake and let her drown, he could have been celebrated as a leftist hero. Even while being a lifelong alcoholic he could have been an undefeatable senator for decades.

Or, as an AG he could have forcibly raped a woman, ran for governor, gotten elected, then ran for president, and gotten elected twice, be involved in abusing dozens more women, perjure himself, and and had feminists go to bat for him in trashing his accusers.

But, alas, Moore isn't a democrat promising freebies to deadbeat losers.

  • Quitemike same answer to everything a republican does wrong again is a democrat did it.

Bill Clinton was never prosecuted for rape and never molested children. He was involved with consenting adults who became angry when their career was not furthered.

-- Posted by lets be real on Tue, Nov 14, 2017, at 1:00 AM
  • Has Moore been prosecuted? Found guilty of any crime?

I can't help that you, and liberals in general, are complete hypocrites and dingbats who make Edith Bunker look like Stephen Hawking.

Show me anyone who says Moore should get a pass if convicted of a crime.

Sorry but after accusations such as these coming every time libs don't like a candidate, from Clarence Thomas to Trump only to never have them be proven, the days of giving ear to endless democrat squawking are over.

  • Any blue dress? Where's the smoking cigar? I mean gun. Despite the way libs want it to be, in this country a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Or they confess.

Remember Ashley Judd saying last winter "I am a nasty woman"? Anyone see old Weinerstein the other day saying "She sure is"?

  • FWIW-Truth and justice democrats are erecting an 8 foot statue to honor the crack smoking mayor, Marion Barry.

No word if the statue will include his famous line about his mistress Rasheeda Moore.

  • I'm baaaack. Sorry for not being an active participant but I usually only get on the T-G when I am back in the area. I hope that doesn't disqualify me.

I have been reading and hearing and seeing this discussion about Roy Moore. ANY person who is assaulted has a right to justice and protection, without a doubt. But I find it curious how many are coming out against Republicans since their rise to power. Accusing a 90 year old man in a wheel chair of sexual assault? Where will it end?

If the facts against Moore are as stated, the chips should fall, but not because of age since she was of legal age in Alabama. Not because of the age difference either. I am not aware of a law that limits how many years difference is too much.

Again, if it is as stated then the chips fall because he forced his affections on an unwilling person. But, there are some things that don't add up as clean and simple as it may appear. Assuming this man is relatively intelligent and surely knowledgeable of the law, why would he hand deliver written proof of his interest in her and then attack her shortly thereafter?

I have seen how some attractive young ladies flirt to get better tips. It is hard to believe that this woman had no idea that Moore might have been flirting. She even admits that she was flattered which sounds to me like covering her bases in case a classmate remembers things a little differently.

They probably did go behind the restaurant, but somehow I think it was more of a mutual thing, at least originally. If it went too far, too fast for this young lady, then she might have said no, in which case it stops being mutual. She says he locked her door and he would not let her out but cars of that era had a push/pull lock didn't they? Wasn't SHE closer to that lock than he and if so, why could she not unlock the door? He was not on top of her (sorry if I am getting too graphic) because she said he tried to pull her over to him.

Now I understand forgetting some details after 40 years, but she remembered so much detail, like his shoes yet, she had to read her statement. It puts doubt in my mind as to how much she remembers. Maybe she flirted more than she implied? I would strongly bet there are some 16 year olds who could make a 30 year old blush with what they know and have done.

She says that this is not a political thing, so why is she bringing it up now? She claims that she and her husband supported Trump, yet she could not let Moore's sexual conduct go undeclared. Really, one month before an election that he was favored to win? Nah, just coincidence.

Oh yes, and why did she bring a drawing of her to the press conference? Does she think we could not envision her with long hair or that she was 16? Did her lawyer think it would add credence to her innocence? And why did she even need a lawyer, if all she wanted to do was tell the truth about something 40 years ago? Just wondering.

Now to the righteous indignation on the part of others. How can you be surprised when we let so much trash on public TV. It is like a "how to" set of instructions and suggestions on drugs, sex, deceit, dishonesty, disrespect and you name it! Now we find out that those making the shows are actually writing their autobiographies.

What was that quote about those who live in glass houses?

  • I asked before is there anyone on this blog comfortable with their 14 year old daughter dating a 32 year old man?I see fair,Timeline, quitemike and Sui would be.A 14 year old girl loves flattery and a 32 year old man knows better. Who was the girls going to go to back then, the DA,who was the molester.Powerful men have gotten away with this for too long and women are feed up.This man had gotten so bold at this he had to be barred from the mall in Ala.There is nothing Christian about this man nor the ones supporting him even though he claims to be one.Jesus says "what you do to the least of these you do to me".He claims he does not know where this restaurant is but others who work there said he came in everyday. That proves he is a liar.He never disputed he signed the yearbook.Excons can not vote but a child molester can be a senator.I am sure he is still doing this since it has been proven, once a child molester always a child molester.

  • LBR

    Still dodging inconvenient questions?

Has Moore been charged with or convicted of any crime?

The answer to that is no, so what's the difference between him and Bill Clinton?

How many times have libs dragged out accusers to destroy conservative politicians right before an election or appointment?

Maybe Hillary can be persuaded to create a dossier on Moore.

-- Posted by quietmike on Tue, Nov 14, 2017, at 3:28 PM
  • Apparently I need to use the woman's name for you to understand LBR Beverly Young Nelson. The NY Times quoted her statement https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/13/us/politics/text-beverly-young-nelson-stateme... where she said that she turned 16 (that is sixteen years old. The alleged attack was after that, according to this statement. I know nothing of this happening when she was 14, but will check.

Until then (actually even after) I would appreciate your not using your fortune telling powers to decide what I would approve or not. I do hope you have a license to practice that.

Also LBR, could you provide where "someone" interviewed others who worked there, since it apparently has not been in business for a number of years.

And where has he been convicted of child molestation? I see these comments thrown out all over the net but am not sure how to find real facts. Since you are calling him one with authority, I am sure you can give me the link? By the way, please do not send links that has popups and making money from suckers clicking on their sensational headlines. They are not authoritative.

  • Libs had nothing to do with this, this was a Trump supporter.Moore is a child molester,Clinton had affairs with adults, big difference, one is Illegal.

Who dragged out Bill Clintons rejects at a presidential debate.

Sorry Timeline the 14 year old was the first accuser Leigh Corfman. That was the one he encouraged the mother to leave her with him on a bench at the court house.A 16 year old is still considered a minor, remember Moore said "I never date them without permission from the mother".Three news stations today, one was ABC,stated that a waitress who worked at the restaurant said he came in everyday. He even wrote the name of the restaurant in Beverly Nelson's yearbook. When A man was interviewed today that worked at the mall in Ala stated he was told to look out for him and call his manager.I can guarantee some women will come forward in later years that he did this too. There is no cure for phedophilia.

  • LBR,

You foretold, "Trump badmouth world leaders but kisses the a** of murderous dictators like Putin and Duterte. He admires and identifies with them."

Haven't you ever heard? "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer"! There is truth in this madness!

The Dictators you speak of are "communist" with "Socialist Governments". this is what they do. You should know all about this because you were going to vote for one, "Hiiary Clinton" and/or "Bernie Sanders", They are communists wanting to run this country under Socialism. That's where the government controls the people and kills anyone who interferes with their dictatorship, like Cuba and the USSR, Iran and several other countries.

Now I need you to name a couple of the "Great" World Leaders you are talking about that Trump should suck up to, besides Israel which you don't like.

Hillary Clinton took over control of the Democratic party before she even come close to winning the election. She would do the same with our country if she got loose in the white house, She would be a Socialist Dictator controlling everyone and everything she could get her hands on. She would make Trump look like a good ol boy!

Trump hasn't rigged any elections, but Hillary and the DN Party rigged the election against Hillary and Bernie in Hillary's favor and she paid Russia to get dirt on Trump.

  • Unreal, I don't have a 14 year old daughter. And I have no idea why you think I do. But if you are going to keep frothing at the mouth about Moore, at least try to know a little about what you are saying. You keep referring to him as a pedophile. Yet none of the alleged victims were pedophile-bait at the time of the alleged encounters. Pedophilia involves prepubescent individuals. All the participants you yap about were post-prepubescent at the time they may have been getting it on. Certainly old enough per your dogma to get an abortion without parental consent had they happened to get themselves knocked up. But feel free to keep tossing around the P word. SOP for the left.

  • A 16 year old is still considered a minor--posted by lets be real

    ---

Once again having no clue what you're talking about doesn't stop you from expressing your ignorance.

Legally, a minor doesn't have the legal rights of an adult.

So, in regards to buying alcohol, or voting, in Alabama 16 is still a minor. In regards to the age of consent, in Alabama, 16 IS NOT a minor. One thing that might make it click, even for you, is that no one is looking at pressing charges, because it is legal in Alabama.

Moderately educating yourself on very basic logical principles would foster intelligent discussion and could prevent 300+replies on a topic where some people have to be told very basic things over and over.

  • I keep forgetting Ala is 47 on the list of the poorest and most uneducated states in America. You can bet Moore would have made sure if he impregnated one of these girls they got an abortion. It is a shame a 16 year old isn't mature enough to vote but a grown man can have sexual intercourse with her, only in the south.I wonder if he is still on mall watch.I heard him say last night that certain rights were created in the 60's and prayer removed from schools is the cause of problems today, but evidently segregation was okay with him.He is refering to Civil Right Act in the 60's

Ole Beauregard Sessions Att General has been lying under oath.I can not count how many time he said "I don't recall".He could not recall even having a meeting with Popadophlis in the past.He remembered after the photo came out but not what was said, but all of a sudden he remembered that he pushed away from the idea of Trump meeting Putin. With a memory this bad he is not qualified for his job.

Has anyone noticed Trump is quite on Moore`s situation, could it be because he has 17 sexual harrassment cases of his own.

-- Posted by lets be real on Wed, Nov 15, 2017, at 10:56 AM
  • Moore was a democrat back then, so it wouldn't surprise me if he did oppose desegregation and championed abortion.

Good thing he's cleared his head since then.

-- Posted by quietmike on Wed, Nov 15, 2017, at 12:33 PM
  • Would also explain his sexual harassment of women, if it did occur. Gotta wonder who dragged the $100 bill thru the trailer court this time.

  • Moore supposedly signed Beverly Nelson's yearbook around Christmas time.

Who carries around a yearbook in December, when they come out at the end of the school year, at the beginning of summer?

Second, who signs a yearbook and puts the location down as part of the signature?

Why is the name of the restaurant misspelled?

Third, some handwriting analysts are saying there are indications the signature is a forgery.

Best of all, this gal filed divorce papers that went before judge Moore, and she lost her case. So there is an axe to grind, not to mention she lied when she said there had been no further contact.

-- Posted by quietmike on Wed, Nov 15, 2017, at 5:34 PM
  • The only one who said the signature was forgery was Moores lawyer.I don't care what party he is,child molestation is illegal. She never saw the judge when the clerk signed those papers. Why will Trump not weigh in on this and tweet as usual.

Now Trump has made it legal for big game hunters (like his sons)to import elephant trophies.Trump says Obama has done nothing in 8 years but he is spending a lot of time undoing his legacy.

Russia if you are listening I hope you find Jared Kushner's missing emails.Mr Trump now the shoe is on the other foot.Everything he yelled out about Hillary has come back to kick him in the butt.Kushner under fire for not turning over ALL emails to Mueller concerning Russia. He has had to update his security form 3 times as he left out over a 100 contacts with Russia. The pieces are starting to come together.

Trump is happy the house passed his tax cut for the rich even thought he says he will not benefit from it.The Trump dynasty stands to gain over a billion dollars in taxes while families making $10,000-$75,000 taxes will go up.

He's a New Mexico congressional candidate who was actually arrested for stalking.

He's also a democrat, which might explain why there's no media coverage.

-- Posted by quietmike on Fri, Nov 17, 2017, at 5:41 AM
  • This is not a matter of which party you belong too,it is about right and wrong.Trump tweeted on Franken but still nothing about Moore.Trump has no room to talk about anyone commiting sexual assault. We are still waiting for his 17 accusers to be sued, since he said they would be after the election. Now it is 9 women against Moore and I feel like there is more. This type of behavior does not just stop.I did not carry a yearbook around. Quitemike did you get banned at a mall for sexually harassing children and call kids at school to ask for dates?Since Trump is in office this has become the norm along with Fake Christians.

-- Posted by lets be real on Fri, Nov 17, 2017, at 12:29 PM
  • With Franken, there is a picture, so it's a bit different than a he said/she said.

Calling for an inquiry into himself is just grandstanding. why not just step down?

This is the new norm since Trump???

It started a bit before Trump, or don't you know the definition of the word "is" either?

-- Posted by quietmike on Fri, Nov 17, 2017, at 1:27 PM
  • At least it isn't the new norm to knock em up then drown em. Anyone miss Teddy?

-- Posted by fair share on Fri, Nov 17, 2017, at 2:16 PM
  • With Trump there is a video saying what he does to women and is just what he is accused of.He will never apoligize and admit to sexual assault only demonize the 17 accusers .You have never called for Trump to step down, only supported his vulgar rhetoric and behavior. There has been talk of affairs in the white house as far back as Washington not sexual assault.

Republicans are creating an extremist religion out of their party. When the Governor of Ala said she believed the women but will vote for Moore to keep a republican majority that is sad.Their party comes before their country no matter what they have done.

Day 3 and still no word from Trump on Moore, maybe it is because they have kindred spirits.Trump is also accused of going into the dressing room at the Miss Teenage Pageant while they were in a state of undress.

-- Posted by lets be real on Sun, Nov 19, 2017, at 12:13 AM

How accused is different than proven?

I know 6th grade vocabulary is tough for some, but...

  • "If you don't want to listen Moore's accusers, then listen to Moore".This is the title of an interview done by Paul Patterson with Roy Moore.Moore states he met his wife when he was 37 and she was 23 at a Christmas party. He also states he first noticed her at a dance recital 8 years before that when she did a dance, and that it was something he had never forgotten.Well that would make her 15 years old at the time of the recital. Why would a nearly 30 year old single man be interested in a young girls dance recital?Look up the interview and listen to his own words.
