  • I'm kinda surprised it is getting much coverage and any good coverage from MSM. I did see a clip of Rachel Madder last night talking about how reckless and dangerous it was for Trump to talk to li'l rocket man and all the previous presidents had enough sense to not meet with NK leaders. The MSM and dems will keep it up with the petty whining while Trump continues to make the country and world a better and safer place for all, especially for Americans.

  • I heard a comment about the danger and was curious just what they meant? A critic also said he has no experience in negotiating?! This man has negotiated MANY more contracts, with many more countries and companies than they could probably dream of, and they say he has no experience?

While many of us gritted our teeth and hoped he knew what he was doing with the tweets, he seems to have been giving us a screen's eye view of how he negotiates. We are seeing more REAL tactics than what the diplomats usually feeds us.

From what I understand, this will be the FIRST meeting between heads of State, so not a bad job. What will come of it is still to be seen.

  • He wrote the book!!! And they are too stupid, childish, or vain to give him an ounce of credit. But he keeps plugging along making the world better. But even if NK gives us all their nukes so we know they are dismantled, don't expect a Nobel Peace Prize for Trump. They would give obummer another one for funding Iran's world terrorism with billions in unmarked cash before they would say "thank you" to Trump.

-- Posted by fair share on Fri, Mar 9, 2018, at 10:49 AM
  • Indeed, he did write the book. Anyone who's read it knows it's a modern version of the Art of War.

The best thing is the book tells exactly how he negotiates, and he's going by the book outline as president, yet liberals still act surprised.

Sun Tzu teaches to exploit the enemy's weaknesses, even when they don't realize it is a weakness. Liberalism is based on emotional hysteria, so Trump attacks that by giving them tweets or other nonsensical things to get emotional about, and while they're distracted, he does what needs to be done.

  • Hmmmm, strangely light comments on something so momentous, but I am not really surprised. There were very few negative comments out there for opponents of Trump to re-phrase or copy and swipe so I guess it was best to just ignore.

This may not be successful but I used to get daily comments from some folks both here and privately about how they could not believe Trump was doing this or that. Now, .... silence.

  • June is a long way off and Drump will have insulted Jong-un hundreds of time by then.Jong is ready to exploit Drumps weakness and see him as a sitting duck. They are both lunatics.

Yes Drump has negotiated many deals and resulted in bankruptcy many times and unable to borrow from any bank in America.

-- Posted by lets be real on Sat, Mar 10, 2018, at 4:51 PM
  • While I do not agree, bankruptcy is used by MANY. I have never figured out how a bankrupt company turns around in order ne year and buys their competitor. Seen it several times in the industry I am invilved with.

I donít recall banks openly discussing clients nor their loans. How/where do you get your inside information LBR?

-- Posted by stevemills on Sat, Mar 10, 2018, at 5:38 PM
  • Steve,

Asking LBR for a fact based explanation on anything is as pointless as a bald porcupine.

  • Wow! I have to say hats off to you for just reading that, then another hats off if you were able to follow all of that.

Honestly, I didnít follow it all but I can see where you have come up with many of your statements.

There were so many twist and turns that I must give another hats off to the writer, although at the end I saw where it was a mix of several articles. Was it also several writers?

I was following the first part about the Deutsche Bank and see where some was taken from court documents but the statement that all other US banks refused him credit did not appear to be well documented.

From there they went to a golf course development in Scotland and I was never sure what their point was. Could you clarify your thoughts on that? What were they trying to say?

Then it went back to Deutsch inner politics and I started to get lost on its relevancy to the original subject. Then the Russians and my ability to put it all together vanished.

It might make a good novel but I am not sure of authenticity. Again, I see where you got some of your thoughts but I am at a loss to be able to comment much more than this.

  • I think I might try reading this again on a computer. Maybe I can get past all the ads and look for authentication easier that way.

-- Posted by stevemills on Sat, Mar 10, 2018, at 9:07 PM
  • Kind of scary to think people silly enough to base their opinions on such incoherent ramblings actually get to vote and have it count as much as the rest of us.

With all the talk of enhanced background checks for gun purchases, it's far past time we implemented such measures for voting.

  • Maybe it is just me, but last night when Trump was talking about Maxine Waters being low IQ, for some reason unreal popped into my head.

-- Posted by fair share on Sun, Mar 11, 2018, at 5:49 PM
  • Well Maxine did say that was racist, with no explanation of how she made that leap of "logic".

-- Posted by quietmike on Sun, Mar 11, 2018, at 8:53 PM
  • Idiot Maxine went nuts today saying Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) was installing small mobile detention cells all over her district for people to drop off suspected illegals. She said it was barbaric and inhumane.

Someone then pointed out to her these were actually ice machines for purchasing bagged ice.

  • Although sad and probably true.....it's still **** funny.

-- Posted by Blessed Assurance on Mon, Mar 12, 2018, at 7:21 PM
  • I would think the one with the low IQ is the one who can't spell, and we all know who that is.If my own cabinet member Tillerson called me a moron,my college professor said I was the dumbest student he ever had and my Chief economic advisor Cohn said I was dumb as s*** and refused to read anything,I sure would not talk about anyone's IQ.

-- Posted by lets be real on Mon, Mar 12, 2018, at 11:28 PM
  • The ones with the low IQ are the ones who wasted over a year on collusion fantasies.

  • Five top staff members gone from WH in 2 weeks, but Drump says "no chaos".One left today after being indicted for serious financial crimes, one who was always at Drump's side.Tillerson found out he was out today by a tweet,Drump is not man enough to do it face to face.He is firing anyone who stands up to Putin while Putin is killing his adversaries.Anyone has to go who is not "loyal" to Drump or will lie for him.

  • Remember back when Sarah Palin said she could almost see Russia from her house and half the people went crazy? My, my, the times, they are a changing. Seems like now those same people are seeing Russians everywhere.

-- Posted by fair share on Tue, Mar 13, 2018, at 5:33 PM
  • We are not seeing Russians every where because the Drump staff kept them secret while they had multiple contacts and meetings.Remember the ones he had in the oval office behind closed doors and would not allow the media.

-- Posted by lets be real on Wed, Mar 14, 2018, at 12:26 AM
  • Were those the same Russians who bought uranium from Hillary?

-- Posted by quietmike on Wed, Mar 14, 2018, at 1:48 AM
  • Wow, why in the world would a President want to have a private meeting at the White House?!?!!??

We need to all get upset and have a congressional investigation and an independent council (or two) and, and and......

-- Posted by fair share on Wed, Mar 14, 2018, at 1:57 AM
  • Yea why would the president have a meeting with Russians and band American media but allow Russian media?Drump will not even condemn Putin for nerve gas poisoning in UK.The excuse is he is waiting for "facts",well he has the facts,Russia did it.It could very well happen here since his Russian friends can come here and go as they please.

Drump sure was a big boost to Saccone in Pennsylvania last night.LOL

-- Posted by lets be real on Wed, Mar 14, 2018, at 10:39 AM
  • FROM NPR news: "On Tuesday, May spoke with President Trump "to update him on the ongoing investigation into the Salisbury incident," according to a Downing Street

"President Trump said the U.S. was with the U.K. all the way, agreeing that the Russian government must provide unambiguous answers as to how this nerve agent came to be used," the spokesperson added."

    https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2018/03/13/593151061/britain-gives-russi...

I understand that the nerve agent was most likely created by Russia around the end of the Cold War. That gives a lot of time for some of this to exchange hands. The UK is demanding that Russia explain how this happened yet they are not willing to send information to Russia to help them identify what the agent is, where it might have been manufactured and who would have come into possession of it.

"Russia has asked for access to the substance that was used ó and "to all the facts linked to the investigation," state-run media Tass reports. But, Lavrov says, those requests have been rejected."

Does that make sense? If you want more than rhetorical answers, why not help them with the information you have? How would it help them cover it up?

Apparently this was one of their people who became an informant (spy) for GB? I read someone say "The use of a nerve agent on UK soil is a brazen and reckless act. This was attempted murder in the most cruel and public way," If Russia was trying to dissuade other defectors, this would be making a statement.

    https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2018/03/11/592720941/public-health-advic...

Was it State sponsored? I like others might say it is likely, but it sounds as if the police are not ready to say that, only the politicians. They seem to be looking at other possibilities as they try to ascertain the actual location of the attack, checking the "ex-spy's" (are you ever really an ex-spy)home and even the grave-site of his wife.

Lots more to come and I really would want as much of the facts as possible before I took dramatic steps. Could it have been another ex-spy who wanted revenge for something? Maybe Russia could answer if they had more information.

Completly off topic, but maybe deserving a trip down memory lane regarding today's walkout protests.

  • Got to read this on a computer or go blind.

Glad you brought the demonstrations up though. I heard a student in Mid-Tenn was told to not bring an American flag to the walk-out.

Seems the students right to free speech was limited.

-- Posted by stevemills on Wed, Mar 14, 2018, at 3:38 PM
  • Apparently free speech only applies for libs bashing America. And I'll bet if any teachers had the gumption to give the little goofs an unexcused absence, they will be in trouble with the wuss admin.

-- Posted by fair share on Wed, Mar 14, 2018, at 4:54 PM
  • Drump will ask Putin if he used nerve gas in the UK and Putin will say no we did not and Drump will believe him,end of story.Drump will never condemn Putin but will condemn our CIA,FBI and British Intelligence.

  • LBR if you had to choose just one thing that makes you so anti-Trump, what would it be?

One thing and the thing that you PERSONALLY dislike the most.

I promise, not a trick question, but you have so much hate built up for him, I would like to inderstand what drives your comments. Folks, donít answer for LBR or we will get off track.

-- Posted by stevemills on Wed, Mar 14, 2018, at 8:43 PM
  • There are things I donít like about him but I suppose the one thing I like the most is that he is not a politician and hope he never becomes one.

-- Posted by stevemills on Wed, Mar 14, 2018, at 8:45 PM
  • I do not hate the man,I hate his manipulative, narcissistic, vulgar, lying personality.I feel he is in this job just for his ego and cares nothing about the well being of the U.S.I think he is more involved with Russian sanctioned banks and not being upfront with America. He can not keep his word for even 1 day and people see him lie on Tv and make excuses for it.I think he is a racist and has instilled fear among some already paranoid americans. He has convinced some that anything he does is okay right or wrong.

Whose pockets does the money go in when he goes to Mar-A-Largo every weekend to house his staff and secret service? His only interest is putting more money in his pockets and his family.

Mueller is following the money trail and we will get answers to all of this. Why is Drump trying to avoid Mueller interview if he is innocent or stop Stormy from talking?

-- Posted by lets be real on Wed, Mar 14, 2018, at 11:54 PM
  • If Trump gave up his day job to get more money as President, then he is stupider than some unnamed people that post here. And he ain't. And any lawyer smart enough to bribe their way past the bar would tell you, him and the whole world that no one should willingly interview with a special council, especially one that is p!ssed off he didn't get to be top G-man again.

-- Posted by fair share on Thu, Mar 15, 2018, at 1:19 AM
  • For someone who supposedly doesn't care about the well being of the country, he sure is doing a lot of good things for it.

Stock market at record levels. Unemployment at the lowest rate since 1969. Black and latino unemployment at the lowest rates since they started keeping records. ISIS decimated in Iraq and Syria. NK ready to deal. Massive reinvestments in manufacturing. Jobs creation far above expectations. Bonuses and pay raises for tens of thousands of workers. Industry coming back to the US.

You have to wonder about the goals of people who aren't happy with where the country is going.

Trump is a rude loudmouth and a liar. But he is doing exactly what he was elected to do.

-- Posted by quietmike on Thu, Mar 15, 2018, at 2:49 AM
  • Steve,

The link was the court case of Calvin and Eula Green, and elderly black couple who lived here in Bedford County.

In 1977, they had their house shot up for hours by racist white neighbors. They called the Sheriff's department, who refused to help, and told them they should have known better than to move into a white neighborhood.

Pointing this out since the marches today at least partially advocate banning guns and leaving our safety up to the police.

Police, who the Supreme court has ruled has no duty to respond to calls for help.

Of course gun control has always been rooted in racism, with the first gun control laws passed to keep newly freed slaves disarmed. Notably its still the democrat party pushing gun control laws.

-- Posted by quietmike on Thu, Mar 15, 2018, at 3:02 AM
  • Good point quietmike! It seems to me that power of the entire Democratic party is rooted in racism.

I always have to laugh when I hear someone say that the 2 parties changed sides in the 60s. This statement is usually deeply seated in racism as well.

The democratic party agenda has ALWAYS BEEN, and STILL IS, about controlling peoples lives. They may have changed tactics in the 60s from slavery and Jim Crowe laws, to public assistance programs, but they are still trying to control.

They are shrewd and never waste a crisis to further that agenda, but make no mistake. Control is the goal.

-- Posted by Liveforlight on Thu, Mar 15, 2018, at 5:27 AM
  • The Supreme Court said no obligation to help? What didnthwy think police WERE obligated to do?

-- Posted by stevemills on Thu, Mar 15, 2018, at 6:36 AM
  • Steve,

Esentially the decision says the duty is owed to "the public at large" and not individuals, so if someone falls through the cracks.... sorry bout that (of course I'm paraphrasing).

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_v._District_of_Columbia

-- Posted by quietmike on Thu, Mar 15, 2018, at 10:12 AM
  • Liveforlight,

    You're absolutely right.

Antebellum democrats used government to force people to pick their crops.

Modern democrats use government to force people to provide their housing, their food stamps, their healthcare, their phones, etc.

    Only their methods have changed.

The real kicker is even with their modern gun control plans, which guns do democrats hate most?

    The black ones.

-- Posted by quietmike on Thu, Mar 15, 2018, at 10:16 AM
  • The dems/lefties only fool themselves and the weak minded when they claim they aren't racist. But they do like their cover-up story of the parties changing back in the, when was it--60s, 30s, 1860s.

-- Posted by fair share on Thu, Mar 15, 2018, at 12:17 PM

Quite you said first gun laws passed to keep newly freed slaves disarmed. No different today, have you seen videos of what happens to legally armed black men walking down the street with a gun? Check out this video and others.

Democrats help the poor while republicans take food out of the mouth of our hungry kids, cut meals on wheels for elderly and disable, cut medicare, cut insurance for the poor and disable, cut school funding. But there is money in the budget for a 30 million dollar parade,$31,000 office tables and $130,000 door for Drumps staff while vets are homeless.

-- Posted by stevemills on Thu, Mar 15, 2018, at 12:52 PM
  • LBR,

That video, as is usual for Occupyretards, isn't honest.

It shows two different cops, in two different jurisdictions, with two separate agencies.

The white guy in the video is an open carry advocate who has been trolling cops for years in Oregon, so it's entirely likely that the cop regognized him on sight.

  • Steve,

I agree, but it further shows democrats don't really understand what they're advocating.

On second thought maybe they do and they're just that stupid.

LBR has bern talking about racist cops for years, and if she grew up here I'm sure she knows about the Green family, but blind loyalty to party overrides common sense.

What about it LBR, did you know about Calvin and Eula Green?

-- Posted by quietmike on Thu, Mar 15, 2018, at 1:14 PM
  • IF the ďsocial experimentĒ was not Tampered with by the experimenters, then it does in fact say something about that police force. I am skeptical of ANY video or clip like this. People are very good at manipulating.

While not a dyed in wool Republican, I admittedly lean more that way than Democrat. What you see as starving children, cutting back elderly care, etc., I see as taking a more fiscally responsible approach and acknowledging that our budget canít keep bleeding.

Yes, there are still stupid, selfish expenditures but the Trump administration did not invent this. It is rampant on all sides of the aisle.

Repeating things like homeless vets does not put all the blame on one administration. They have all had an opportunity to work on this and Trump is only slightly into his first year.

I hope he is able to ignore the constant screaming from the Democrats and keep plugging away at his agenda. Admittedly Trump probably did not think he would win when he started out, so his agenda is still evolving much like his cabinet. I wanted someone to Ďshake upí the political arena and I think most would agree, he has sone that.🤪

-- Posted by stevemills on Thu, Mar 15, 2018, at 1:27 PM
  • The only thing I see shaken up is the WH,so far everyone he has campaigned for has lost to a Democrat.Dumpty is caught on tape lying to a head of state(Canada) about Trade, then goes on twitter to redeem himself and lies again.Who can trust this man with nuclear codes?

Seems Dumpty Jr is taking lessons from daddy getting a divorce and will follow in his footsteps with several wives.I bet it is Hillary or Obama's fault.

Quite I remember Eula and Calvin Green,if they had shot back and killed a white person they would not have lived to see old age no matter what was done to them.

Mueller has subpoenaed Dumpty's campaign for all his Russian documents, fire works are about to begin get the popcorn.

-- Posted by lets be real on Thu, Mar 15, 2018, at 6:38 PM
  • Of course Trump has accomplished much more than the dummercrats give him credit for. But IF his only accomplishment were to put people like unreal on tilt, he would have an outstanding term.

-- Posted by fair share on Thu, Mar 15, 2018, at 8:04 PM
  • Lets see McMaster leaving and possibly Ben Carson and Steve Mnuchin tomorrow. That makes 3 National Security Advisors in one year.No credible sane person can work with this idiot and keep their reputation intact. He does not want anyone to stand up to him and tell him the truth.

It might be Stormy that takes down Dumpty before Mueller. It seems there is 6 more women comimg forward who may have also been paid off.And what is odd is that Dumpty is silent on this, not even one tweet.

-- Posted by lets be real on Fri, Mar 16, 2018, at 12:25 AM
  • How do you think Stormy could take him down?

If it happened, it was before he was elected, and there is no allegations that it was not consensual.

I know now that russian collusion has evaporated, dems desperately need something to cling to, but it needs to be based on something actionable.

Can't believe I wasted bandwidth saying that to a liberal.

It is a crying shame they have neither God nor guns to which they can cling. Consensual sex doesn't cut it. What's left? Beating the dead and decaying horse of Russian collusion and constantly b!tching about personnel changes. Oh, oh, and complaining about more jobs and more money in their pockets.

-- Posted by fair share on Fri, Mar 16, 2018, at 8:41 AM
  • Consensual sex does not get it ,but trying to silence someone by threatening physical harm will.

Dumpty slapped sanctions on 13 Russian individuals for election meddling and refused to target government officials close to Putin.

-- Posted by lets be real on Fri, Mar 16, 2018, at 12:59 PM

  • Quite why do you think Dumpty's lawyer paid that money since they claim there was no sex.MAGA MUELLER AIN'T GOING AWAY,he will follow the money.

The joke of the week,Ivanka Trump ,a handbag designer,is replacing Tillerson in a meeting with South Korea to talk about nuclear war, smh.

Tillerson and McMaster stood up to Putin and they had to go.

  • LBR,

If Trump came out and admitted everything about Daniels was true, gave every lurid detail, then turned over a videotape to CNN, what do you think would happen?

NOTHING BECAUSE ADULTERY ISN'T A CRIME OR IMPEACHABLE.

I know you have learning disabilities, but how many times does something have to be explained to you before it sinks in?

He can fire people till the cows come home but Meuller Ain't Going Away,MAGA. Sitting in the WH this weekend tweeting ugly lies is adding fuel to Muellers fire. Now I see why Melania slaps his hand away in public.

Getting my popcorn ready for SNL,can't wait for a good laugh.I bet when Dumpty watches he has to be sedated with diet cokes and cheese burgers. And we know he watches because the idiot tweets about it.

He sure did. Both of them perjured themselves.

Several heads at the FBI and justice are about to roll, and the sweetest part is that idiot liberals chasing their tails made it all possible.

  • The anticipation of "The Trump Card".

It's coming and it is a good one.

LBR and RV are cooking a corn crib full of crow.

And they thought they ate a lot of it election day.

Wait till the "the Trump card" falls from the loft.

  • Dumpty will roll out his plan tomorrow to kill all drug dealers, one he gets from his dictator friends.Does he mean the pharmaceutical companies that pay doctors millions to over prescribe painkillers? He will not mention this since his pockets get padded from these companies. So once again he will lie to americans to try to convince them that street dealers are the cause of the opioid crisis, his fans will cheer, end of story. The House Energy and Commerce Committee revealed that in the last 10 years 20.8 million painkillers were prescribed in Williamson,West Virginia,a small town of less than 3,2000 people.

Dumptys irrational tweets show that he is getting more anxious and paranoid. He is losing it.Maybe he got the disease all the porn stars got a few years back since that is about the time he jumped into bed with several of them.So much for him being a germaphobic, looks like that had to have been a lie also.

  • Only LBR could be so out of touch to complain about docs and prescriptions after gushing over obamacare.

-- Posted by quietmike on Mon, Mar 19, 2018, at 1:43 PM
  • Quitemike if I am out of touch about the opioid crisis then tell me who you think is responsible.Having been in the medical field I saw it coming years ago,and now it is biting America in the butt.

  • You mean besides the government (Joint Commission)? Back when they made pain the "5th vital sign" and made everyone think they had the "right" to be pain free? Yeah, big Pharma has some responsibility, as do corner dealers and drug seekers, but everyone gets in line behind the government.

  • Comrade Dumpty called Comrade Putin(his idol) to congratulate him on his win in a one man race knowing he kills or jails his opponents. Some roll model to look up to.

Things are getting hotter in the WH,hiring more lawyers.

-- Posted by lets be real on Tue, Mar 20, 2018, at 12:34 PM
  • LBR, Do you think the 3,200 people in that West Virginia town bought those millions of painkillers with their own money?

Or did "useful idiots" say it was heartless not to subsidize them?

  • Seems Playboy model McDugal suing Dumpty for trying to silence her.How many more will come out? Can't wait for Stormy's interview Sunday.Plus Dumpty lost a battle today to have another sexual assault case dismissed with an ex from the Apprentice.Going to be a long week and today is just Tuesday.

  • Hey, unreal. We all know Trump has bedded more women than you can count to. And lots of people sign contracts they later renege on. Especially when they are attention who^es. Nothing new here. Just make peace with the fact that he is a real ladies' man and try to calm down a little. Remember, he's got over 6 1/2 years left. At this rate you will burn out before then. Pace yourself a little bit and surely you'll be able to make it to the end.

  • I don't remember LBR being upset over Clinton paying Paula Jones a $850,000 settlement.

But then again, without hypocrisy, what would LBR have?

  • Two plug nickels?

-- Posted by fair share on Wed, Mar 21, 2018, at 9:03 AM
  • I was not on this blog during Clinton and Paula Jones era.A settlement is one thing but hush money with a physical threat is another.Real ladies men don't have to pay prostitutes to urinate on them.Since some of women said they had unprotected sex don't be surprised if we see some little orange puffs coming out and some more baby mamas.

I wonder if Dumpty will say anymore about the Austin bombing since he fit the usual profile YWMs.

  • "...I think it is beneficial for the dirty democrat politicians to be held accountable for their illegal lifestyles...Nashville now has the chance to redeem itself, but I fear the slut running it... "

"...We all know Trump has bedded more women than you can count to....Nothing new here. Just make peace with the fact that he is a real ladies' man..."

  • What are you trying to say, laz? That it is legal for a mayor to have sex with her boy toy while he is on the clock being paid by the taxpayer? Or that it is illegal for a private citizen to have consensual sex with as many women he can? Or maybe both? Just curious as to what you mean.

  • I didn't say anything. Your words speak for themselves.

  • For someone who does not hate another person, there sure are some hateful comments here. Hateful and downright nasty.

  • Well McMaster has bit the dust and replaced by another Faux consultant,John Bolton a warmonger.Wonder what job Dumpty is going to offer "Shame"Hannity next. Now adding crazy Joe Digenova another Faux nut who is the king of conspiracy theories to his team.Dumpty will listen to no one.

Now he is thinking of firing Kelly and running the WH the way he ran his business. Our national security is at stake.

-- Posted by lets be real on Thu, Mar 22, 2018, at 8:59 PM
  • National security at stake...

Where was this admonition with Hillary's emails?

Pretty sure LBR was commenting on blogs then.

-- Posted by quietmike on Fri, Mar 23, 2018, at 8:44 AM
  • Couple of questions for unreal.

If Trump doesn't listen to anyone, why does it upset you so much when he hires the people he wants?

If he is going to fire Kelly, why didn't he do it long ago, like you've been saying since just after he was hired?

If comrade Putin has something on Trump forcing him into collusion, why is he letting Trump push him around on the world stage like the grade school sissy Putin is?

    Asking for a friend.
