  • My top two are Lee and Boyd. I tend to gravitate to people who have business experience . . . just my two cents!

  • Now that you mention it, I guess I lean that way as well bit Beth Harwell got my attention with her outspoken support of medical mj.

That is a bold step for a conservative and as a person who is in constant pain, I would prefer more alternatives. Especially one that can be grown by our local farmers.

  • Beth has done a lot of good for TN on the state level. She is my pick.

  • Who will the GOP candidate be facing in the final round? My vote there would be Dean but my opinion is only formed from news media about his time in office. Any opinions?

    Quiet here lately isnít it?

  • I concur, Dean it will be. But I only think that because I haven't heard of the others.

It has been awfully quiet lately. RV apparently still has his little feelings hurt and isn't commenting on what he is seeing. Don't know what happened to unreal. Maybe she wondered off and got lost. Wonder if we need to recruit a new house lib or two?

  • I do miss them but maybe the news has not been that great for their point of view lately.

  • I could take on a liberal viewpoint, but I might get the pot boiling too much.

  • Stir the pot Tyger. Only way we learn and consider other viewpoints.

  • Steve the news has not been so great for Dumpty lately. He has fell in so many holes I can't keep up with them.Old Rudy's doing a good job of exposing his own client.Keep talking Rudy.NK and Russia both big failures. His own Sec of State don't know what he gave Putin.

Now he has hurt farmers so bad they're having to take welfare as you guys call it.I bet they love winning since they voted for him. Time to start cooking all those steaks backed up into the those warehouses.hahaha

Manafort looking at life and Jr is next.Daddy won't think twice about throwing Jr under the bus.It is just a matter of time before Dumpty is exposed. What he said standing beside Dictator Putin is treasonous. He looked like a whipped puppy.

  • Welcome back LBR, have you been on vacation?

  • Steve, I was thinking maybe unreal and the rest of the house libs were gone to work what with unemployment being so low. Lowest rates in history for several of the special interest groups. But then I realized that would be too much out of character for them. I'll bet they were off at a secret meeting learning how to deal with the upcoming blue Tidy Bowl wave.

Welcome back, unreal! Nice to see you haven't changed. Must be hard for you to look at how well America is doing. Personally, from the point of view of a small time family farm owner, I say "bring on the tariffs". I have a sneaking suspicion he will do for us what he did for the steel workers and the miners and the rest of the country. But to be honest, I kind of understand why you are still upset with Trump. On the surface it appears he is discriminating against you to some degree. After all, he has unemployment down to record lows for Hispanics and Blacks, but not for women. How dare he! It's only at a 65 year low for women. Some nerve he has!!

I just don't get it. Anyone that opens their eyes can see we are in the midst of an economic boom not seen in decades. But some people just can't be happy with that and have to make stuff up to biatch about. Reminds me of the infant crying because someone is changing their dirty diaper. They see how clean and happy the adults are but they are crying and thinking "I know it is stinky and wet, but it is warm and it is mine!".

  • Just decided it was useless to argue with members of the Trump cult.Probably will not be commenting much anymore to the "Jim Jones crowd".Republicans can not preach family values anymore while supporting a want to be dictator with no values.Republicans do not even want to know what deals he made with Putin. Some republicans even said they are okay with Putin hacking the election. They believe NK has stopped building his nuclear missiles because Trump lied to them. Unemployment did not just drop in the last year.Trump sheep think it went from 9 to 4.8 in one year.He said he likes the" poor and uneducated",you know the kind it takes a room full of people to make one set of teeth.

  • LBR, I would bet there are some who feel that trying to reason with you is challenging as well. ;-)

When I try to talk about one specific point you throw out all these anti-Trump comments even if the post is not about Trump.

Want to try one idea or comment at a time? How about with a broad sweep you declare all folks who support the presidency as not wanting to know what "deals" he made with Putin.

My comment on that agrees with you in a way. I think ANY president should be able to have private conversations with other leaders to try to work on issues without the ever constant analysis by the press and the public.

They will not be able to make any lasting deals without approval of their respective governments so what they say in private is not going to be set in concrete. It may however be very productive since they will not have to fear the "sound byte" taken out of context and any leaks will have a very short suspect list.

Mr. Obama thought he was having a private conversation when he commented about having more flexibility after the upcoming election. It was true and a reality so what was the big surprise? Many got to use that sound byte to twist and turn. How did you feel about it?

  • Looks like unreal is happier walking thru the magical woods with the only candidate that actually did collude with the Russians. All she does is use worn out campaign quotes while holding the blinders tight to keep from seeing reality. Besides, she and her kind are too busy offering aid and comfort to Russia to spend much time here. They are either too stupid or too disloyal to the country to keep from doing exactly what Putin wants, which is disrupting our government. And they just keep playing into his hands.
