Romo was an ok quarterback. But he is a better commentator.

  • It was truly amazing to watch the game winning drive, as Romo called play after play before they happened. He must prepare for his broadcast as if he were going to play the game.

  • Yup, it adds a new sense of excitement and expectations. Armchair quarterbacks will start to shout out what they think will happen as they see the defense line up, or react. (Assuming there is someone else in the room and that they care LOL)

I donít know that I am that advanced, but it is a neat twist to watching.

Just for the record, the Tony Romo photo above could pass as John F Kennedy, Jr. aka Vincent Fusca.

    Just saying!

We will all be able to see later in Feb or March when JFK Jr. comes out of hiding. After the SOTU Speech Trump will have to step down, so I believe Trump will introduce JFK, Jr. as one of the main players on his "Q" team, before he steps down. I also think JFK, Jr. IS "Q".

Not to worry! The Rabbit Hole goes on much, much, much Deeper than this!

Oh yeah, don't be surprised if Trump mentions illegal Aliens invading our Country, in his SOTU Speech.

Oops! Did I really say that?

I sure didn't know JFK, Jr. was a football player. Would have figured his balls were deflated at the bottom of the ocean.

Well OMG! That just goes to show you how much you don't know and how much you don't understand what is said.

I did not say JFK, Jr. WAS a football player, now did I? I did not insinuate that JFK, Jr. was a football player, now did I?

Did I ever tell anyone that JFK, Jr. was fish food at the bottom of the ocean? No I did not! That is what the News Media said.

JFK, Jr, found out about the assassination attempt by Hillary Clinton and faked the crash and went into hiding.

If JFK, JR. hadn't, Hillary would have attempted another assassination against him until she got him.

You just have to be smarter than what you are working with.

JFK, Jr. died on July 16, 1999, according to the news media. Three days later Trump's Dad died and Donald Trump received a condolence letter from JFK, Jr. about Trump's dad's death.

If JFK Jr. died on the 16th, he would not have been alive to know Trump's Dad Died on the 19th nor could he have written the letter.

You can be sure Hillary Clinton would have Ordered a Death Certificate, Dead or Alive, so she would be able to continue to run for Senator in NY. Hillary could make anything happen until Trump came into power.

Kinda like RBG not alive, but without a Death Certificate Trump can't appoint another Justice, unless he has the power to impeach a dead body, lol.

So, we WAIT! It will all come out in the "Back Wash"!

Did I say "Back Wash" again. Word has it that the Swamp Draining (Bask Wash or Flush "for people who don't want to google it") of the congress will start on the 15th.

Soon THEY will come to know, When the bullet hits the bone!

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Bedford Co. U.S. Citizens don't panic when it happens and they aren't prepared for anything! Of course, it doesn't really matter, because the stores in Shelbyville don't stock enough of anything for the whole county population Under Normal Conditions! Where are the City Planners? Where is the MSM!

and the Rabbit hole gets deeper and deeper.

  • Sui could it JFK Jr sent him a letter because Fred Trump died June 25 1999 and JFK Jr died July 16 1999 almost a month later.

  • And Sui I would really be surprised if he didn't mention "illegal aliens" in his speech. He is sending more troops to the border to mend a fence to protect against caravans that have yet to show up while the drugs come through the ports in 18 wheelers.

Romo did a fairly decent job commenting on the Super Bowl. But not as good as he did in the KC game. And once again the Patriots won. Too bad it was such a dull game for the first three quarters. But worse than that, I didn't see one commercial that was Super Bowl worthy. The closest was the Budweiser one with the Clydesdales. Then they ruined it at the end with the windmills. I'm kinda surprised it passed the sensitivity screening. With all the birds those things kill I would expect PETA to be having a fit.

Unreal, you must be a rocket scientist to have figured out Trump will talk about the illegals tomorrow night during his SOTU address. But you are wrong about him sending troops to the border to mend a fence. They are going there to build the wall. Why? Because your buddies crying upchuck and ninny nancy are enabling the ongoing crisis at the border. While being more than happy to give $54B to other countries, they have not a single flying f~ck to give for the safety of American citizens. Trump, on the other hand, does care about us and will protect us. It all boils down to this:

Trump - Do whatever it takes.

Looney Left - Do whatever I can get away with.

-- Posted by fair share on Mon, Feb 4, 2019, at 7:23 PM
  • There is a crisis at the border all right. but it is not the wall. Despite the meaningless signing of an order to hire more border patrol officers, the number of enforcement personnel has plummeted under Trump. We now have the fewest number of Border patrol that there has been since W was in office. That is right. While Trump carries on about his campaign stunt, he has let the actual border protection wither away. Not that it matters, this is all part of the reality show presidency. As long as he can keep his fans excited, it matters little what is actually going on. You know what they have done to fill the ranks? They wrote out a 100 million dollar contract to a corporate buddy to recruit new agents. Unfortunately, they can't find any. Why won't anyone take the job? It is a crappy, dangerous job, with low pay. What has Trump done? Why he froze their wages, another campaign stunt. Yes, we have a border crisis. Our border crisis is a President who uses the issue as a campaign stunt, while doing nothing to improve the situation.

-- Posted by lazarus on Tue, Feb 5, 2019, at 2:19 AM
  • I can't help but notice the obvious conflict in our 2 resident "never Trumper's". One complains about Trump sending more people to the border, the other complains that he is taking people away. LOL

Liveforlight, it doesn't really matter to them which way they go with it. Either way they get to complain about Trump. But it is kinda funny they are going 180 degrees away from each other.

-- Posted by fair share on Wed, Feb 6, 2019, at 11:31 AM
  • Do you know the difference between chalk and cheese? Spending millions to send soldiers to string barbed wire for a couple of weeks is meaningless. We could have hired labor from Manpower to do that. Just another campaign stunt. Allowing the Border Patrol numbers to dwindle to the crisis level, and focusing only on his wall campaign gimmick is not protecting the border. Maybe you heard him promise to hire "even more" Border Patrol agents in his speech last night... He hasn't hired more yet, or even made any meaningful move towards hiring more. I know how much you like to bring Obama into the discussion. Well, ponder this; we have FEWER Border Patrol agents now than at ANY TIME during the Obama administration.

  • New Mexico pulled their troops from the border. Fair check this out

    https://www.foxnews.com/us/us-troops-seen-setting-up-barbed-wire-near-mexico-bor...

Dumpty said he will form a human wall if he has to. These soldiers can not touch these people. He probably don't know this because he spends 6 hours a day watching TV and tweeting instead of reading his daily briefings. His staff said he is unable to comprehend and retain information so the draw him pictures. With all the years of experience CIA intelligence has and he thinks they are the ones who should go back to school.Hahaha

The sheriff in El Paso said he lied in his SOTU speech about the crime going down after the fence, it was down before the fence.Other sheriffs along the border said the same and that Dumpty has never talked to them.

Over 4,800 lies so far and counting.

Nice old news you got there. What is the point of even having a military if they can't stop, by whatever means necessary, an invasion of our country? If they mowed down the entire first wave, the second wave would be much smaller and the third wave would turn tail had head back to their own country. Maybe even put in a little effort to make their country better, instead of trying to drag us down to their current level. If the Rio Grande runs red, it is crying chuck's and ninny nancy's fault for encouraging the invasion of the USA and not having the nads to stand up and protect our country.

Speaking of the intelligence of the CIA (and I know that they're reading this - hey, MIBs, go pleasure yourselves somewhere else), have you ever listened to that idiot Brennan? The culture in the CIA, FBI, and other alphabet deep state shadow organizations trickles down from the top from such outstanding people like Brennan and Comey. Trump would have to be more crazy than they are if he wasn't suspicious of them. It would be reasonable to shut them down and start over with a keen eye on keeping out the deep state.

So, unreal, still no thoughts on the shenanigans going on in Virginia? It's about like an old time minstrel (not menstrual - sounds the same, means something different) show.

Sorry lazarus. Let me simplify it for you.

Enforce the border. Build the wall.

The FBI, CIA, et cetera need reigned in.

    Virginia politics - hahahaha, lolololol.

-- Posted by fair share on Fri, Feb 8, 2019, at 11:59 AM
  • We even agree on the order of the first item: Enforce the border, then worry about the silly wall. We need to get serious about the Border patrol, making an investment in pay and training so that we can actually fill the open slots with qualified people. The numbers have fallen so low as to constitute a genuine crisis, and contraband is pouring through our Ports of Entry. Until we can staunch the flow where people and materials are actually pouring in, a wall is just a pointless campaign stunt.

You and I are about as qualified to judge the intelligence agencies as we are to run a heart transplant team. Trump's statements about them demonstrate to a frightening extent just how unqualified he is. He is not starring in a reality show any more. This is real reality.

Virginia politics - At least it provides some comic relief.

It doesn't take a heart surgeon to see that some people in the government would do (and have done) whatever they can to bloodlessly overthrow Trump. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean someone isn't trying to get you.

  • Lazarus, where are you getting the information that Trump has reduced the number of border patrol agents?

I am not finding that in google searches.

According to this article, he signed an executive order to increase border patrol by 15,000. The article basically says they are having problems filling the positions with "qualified" people. Additionally, the article says that more people will also be needed to handle the increased cases due to ICE being "effective".

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/whatever-happened-to-trumps-new-border-patrol-offic...

After all, it is not about the number of people who are put into position, but about the effectiveness of the actions to accomplish the mission. Walls work for that mission!! Whether it is political, or not, has no effect on the effectiveness of proven tactics such as a physical barrier. To many people want to oppose common sense solutions based on divisive political rhetoric.

Political rhetoric and division that already existed is the reason Trump got elected. Trump didn't bring us the division, the division brought us Trump. When division is capable of over riding common sense, then we need to take a closer look at OUR motives.

  • Nice post LiveforLife. You make your point well. Maybe that is because I agree with most that you say.

I donít disagree with anything, but might add something when I get back to my computer. I know my limitations using the computer keyboard but using my thumbs is often comical.

-- Posted by stevemills on Sat, Feb 9, 2019, at 8:09 AM
  • It's laughable that liberals say we shouldn't have a wall and should instead rely on the border patrol, as many democrats in congress openly call for abolishing ICE altogether.

Think it's just an amazing coincidence?

-- Posted by quietmike on Sat, Feb 9, 2019, at 4:48 PM
  • Good post Liverlight. True, I said at the beginning that Trump signed an "order" to increase the number of agents. However, the only action taken was to sign a $100 million contract with a corporation to recruit them. Only a handful have been recruited, while losses have been rampant. The number of agents has fallen off the charts. They have done nothing to address the issues that make Border Patrol difficult to hire and even harder to hang on to. So, the promise during the SOY to sign an order increasing the number by another 1,000 is ridiculous. The extra people the article is talking about needing are not Border Patrol, but Immigration Court personnel.

As far as common sense goes, I am just not seeing it. Estimates vary from 80-90% of the contraband is coming thru the Ports of Entry. It seems to me that common sense would call for focusing the effort on where the problem is occurring. If I have a ship taking on water through two holes, one hole leaking 80-90% of the incoming water, and the other leaking 10-20%, I am going to concentrate on closing the 80-90% leak first. That doesn't require any opinion of whether the wall would "work" or not. It will not work to build a wall where the contraband is not coming in.

As far as common sense goes, how in the world can you know what/how much/where is coming across that you don't know about??????

And speaking of common sense, it sure makes a lot of sense to leave the border wide open while simultaneously eliminating ICE. Personally, I prefer my border like I prefer my tea. With plenty of ICE.

And as long as we are on the subject of common sense, why don't we kill all the cows for farting, tear down all our buildings, and ground all our planes? While we are at it, we might as well give "income" to everyone that is unwilling to work. Surely that will encourage people to get off their lazy a$$es and get a job.

Yeah, there is a lot of common sense coming out of the looney left.

Laziness and loopyness have no party monopoly. But it does seem more prevalent in the dimwit party. It is scary Steve. I don't think we are quite there yet, but we are getting close to tipping the scale. The greed of the takers will probably kill there golden goose within a generation. Unless Trump and the conservatives can instill some common sense into the masses.

-- Posted by lazarus on Sat, Feb 9, 2019, at 9:00 PM

While this statement is true it is overlooking the obvious and ignoring common sense, again.

The obvious and common sense being; If contraband is caught at the points of entry, where they know they will be checked, then you can be assured it is entering in the other areas, where they are NOT being checked.

  • Again, the left misses a salient point. Poverty is not a problem, but only the symptom of other problems.

In America, the stats show long term poverty is nearly universally a result of laziness and/or poor life choices.

Finish school, get a job, get married, and have kids, IN THAT ORDER and you chances of ever living in poverty are in the single digits.

If simply giving money to the poor, instead of addressing the underlying problem were the answer, then every lottery winner would be set for the rest of their lives.

But many lottery winners, even those who win multi-million dollar prizes, are bankrupt after a few years. This is because suddenly receiving money did nothing to fix the poor decisions being made.

  • Blackface was used to mock and degrade blacks. I am not surprised by this and I am sure there was many more who did it in both parties. By supporting a president who defends the KKK, sexually assaults women, uses vulgar language when referring to women, and calls all Mexicans rapist and murderers the right has normalized this type of behavior. Two wrongs don't make a right so I guess these people think if its okay for the president to remain in office then they can also. Republicans handle this the same way you did when Dumpty does it.

Dumpty is suppose to go to El Paso tomorrow to the border the people there are angry about his fence and the lie he told.So he will probably bring his own crowd to cheer him on.

Unreal, some of what you say isn't an outright lie. But since you claim Trump calls ALL Mexicans rapists and murderers, people have a hard time giving any credibility to anything you say. If you post a link to a video of him saying that, I'll give you a gold star and a "yahoo". But don't waste too much time looking for it because it ain't out there.

And don't you think it a bit racist that the VA governor won't resign and let the lt governor take over?

Excellent point, quietmike. Besides the lottery winners, a fair number of sports figures and entertainers get fabulously wealthy suddenly and go broke relatively soon. Because they never learned how to deal with money.

A good book by Chris Hogan out last month covers this subject well. The name of it is Everyday Millionaire. It covers how people actually get there vs the myths of how most people think they get there. And it lays out step by step how average everyday people with the gumption to work hard can get there. Doubt the lefties would like it much.

-- Posted by fair share on Mon, Feb 11, 2019, at 1:09 AM
  • The right has normalized this behavior huh? Even though 1984 was long before Trump was elected?

Or does that tiny bit of logic not matter to the professional victim?

Who else has been in blackface? Jimmy Fallon, Joy Behar, Jimmy Kimmel, Ted Danson, Billy Crystal, all before Trump, yet not a peep from morally indignant lefties.
