  • Since the Democrat leadership is building an impeachment case built on interpreting words overheard, was Mr. Obama's faux pas on an open mike something the Republicans should have impeached the President? Just think of all the possibilities when "interpreting", imagining Mr. Obama's comment to Russian president Dmitri Medvedev "This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility."

What fun would the Democrats and news media have with that from Mr. Trump? Democrats spent millions of OUR dollars chasing Russian collusion and similar millions on what they THINK he meant by asking for the Ukraine to investigate corruption that affects the U.S. so an open statement like Mr. Obama's would cost us many more millions.

In my opinion, Joe Biden never was and still is not a serious candidate to defeat so IF he was researching the Bidens, it would not affect a U.S. election.

Are the Democrats spending our money and serious working time trying to affect our election? Is that ethical? They do not have a viable candidate to beat Trump so is it conceivable that they are trying to eliminate him at OUR expense, both monetarily and with wasted time they could be trying to get bipartisan work done. Will it work?

Steve, all the dems are doing is showing us how to act next time there is a dem President and Republican House. If I am still alive when that occurs you can bet your last dollar I will do everything I can from the moment of election to subvert and oust the ne'er do well.

I agree that sleepy sniffing joe isn't a viable candidate, but even if he was, it is perfectly legitimate for the President to encourage any person or country to root out corruption, whether it is a benefit to him or not. The shiftless dems are implying all you have to do to avoid being held accountable is run for office.

  • Obama's election flexibity statement is obviously a quid pro quo (by current definitions) as he thought what was being asked of him could hurt his electabilty.

Let's not forget Fast and Furious, where Obama and Holder violated standard procedure for a gun sting, which cost Brian Terry his life.

Of course, lefties will shout "whataboutism", which is their way to avoid addressing their blatant hypocrisy.

Trump asked of the turkey he pardoned "Am I allowed to touch it". Sad when Trump has more respect for the personal boundaries of a turkey than Biden has for young children.
