Ever seen one in the wild? They can be tough.
I have no idea what was running through her head at the time but I could tell from her "huh?" that she was not thinking MORELS. Morels being a mushroom that is loved by many, but honestly, I do not recall ever having them.
I have noticed several posts on FB groups that they are finding them in TN right now and I seemed to have ideal conditions for finding some so,..... off I go. Well, they are just as tough finding them as "morals". In fact I did not find any but then I looked at this video about hunting morels in TN and I see why I might have missed them.
I had decided I did not have any but after finishing the video I felt challenged again. I am a bit limited in movement today but if I can get to the chiropractor tomorrow, I may be out again in another day or two. He seemed to find his after April 6th so maybe I am early, or blind.
Anyone want to share their morels? :-) Well, at least your morel stories and tips.
Speaking of chiropractors, I went to a different doctor a few weeks ago because I was going to save $10 per visit, they took insurance AND they were much closer than my Murfreesboro doctor. NO COMPARISON! Dr. Jae Hitson takes about 20 minutes, adjusts my whole spine and discusses nutritional and physical exercises to help my all-around health.
She has given me free product to try for my allergies and seems sincerely interested in my well being and my wife can see the difference in the way I walk coming out of there. The other doctor may have taken less than half the time and Deb was wondering of I had actually been adjusted when I came out, based on how I was walking. I've learned.
