A new ad for Biden shows a bar operator who is facing tough times because of the Covid pandemic. He blames the current economy on Trump even though he agrees with his Michigan governor (Democrat) for the restrictions she has imposed. Somehow he equates this with Mr. Trump and supports Biden even though Biden has also said he would shut down the Nation if the "science" said to do it.
“We don’t know how much longer we can survive not having any revenue. A lot of restaurants, bars that have been mainstays for years will not make it through this. This is Donald Trump’s economy," he continued. "There’s no plan, you don’t know how to move forward. It makes me so angry. My only hope for my family and this business and my community is that Joe Biden wins this election. That’s the kind of person we need.”
My question for you is how he expects the Democrats to open his bar and get the economy going better than Mr. Trump? How should the President have handled it differently to avoid the economic issues we now see? Who do you trust to get the economy back on its feet?
Oh, by the way this "bar owner" Joe Malcoun sounds like he and his family are about to lose everything. Check out this profile from the Detroit Business. And from Detroit's Free Beacon "Malcoun became a well-known "angel investor" in local tech startups after receiving a large inheritance from his wife's late grandfather roughly a decade ago", hardly a poor restaurant owner about to lose everything and a donor to Biden's campaign, so you know he is independent.
