What a week....

Posted Friday, August 3, 2007, at 7:38 PM

Just this past week I have gotten my fouth child registered for kindergarden, been to football and cheerleading practice for two other kids and just got a call from the soccer coach for another child!

So now I have gotten everything done for the paperwork area, now its the wait for school to start! Good not a long wait Monday cant come soon enough!

I have enjoyed every moment my kids have been home this summer and we have done loads of trips but it is now time for me to get a break. Not too sure how long that will last as I do plan on getting involved in the PTA or is it PTO. 4 kids in 3 different schools that has now just added another 3 meetings to my schedule but its so worth it!

In my life of sports, scouts, parent involvement at schools and other various organizations. The one thing that they all seem to lack is organization.

I would love to know if anyone else feels this way or if I am the one that is truely nuts.

The weekend is here and it is the first pre game for football! So Sunday I look forward to staying at home and relaxing maybe bed time will be set at noon that day so I am ready to start this school year the right way!

Peace and relaxation be with everyone!

I agree it has been a Long week indeed.

But beings you brought up schools what do you guys think about the new High School addition and the mess the kids will be going to school in?

You know i really have not thought much about it as my oldest is only going to middle school.

I did see all the work going on a the school the other day and I really feel for those kids. I would hate to see that kids will suffer in academics due to something beyond their control. I am not sure on the in's and out's of why the school is still under remodeling but I would hope that school officials will understand it is not good for kids and not to punish them for it.

I hope next time they choose to do construction they make sure they can get it done in the amount of time needed where it does not affect those that should not be bothered by it.

Thank you for bring that up and opening my eyes to something I kept over looking.
