My little trooper....Posted Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at 7:32 AM
First off I want to make sure I thank the wonderful staff at Heritage Medical Center ER room for taking such wonderful care of my little guy.
Also I want to thank all the kids at the park that had a true concern for Nicky as his face plunged into the ramp/scooter. After a small accident on his scooter he managed to split his upper lip open good enough for about 10 stitches. But he was a trooper and a great patient. He did not like the shot of numbing stuff but that was quickly over and he actually fell asleep before the last stitches were put in. It was a lot of blood, a few stitches and I am pretty sure that this will not be the last time he gets on that scooter! As a parent, I know the feeling of helplessness at a time like this too. Swift recovery for all!
Poor baby, oh man.. That hurts. I will be praying for a swift healing for him.
