So we are all busy during the summer and with kids fighting to get on the computer, it has given me less time each day to enjoy the few simple things, like blogging!

I did want to take some time to share with you some great websites that I love!

First is http://woot.com this site is an everyday must! It displays 1 item each day, it is an overstocked item that is reduced to almost pennies. The shirts they offer are sometimes really funny, and the wine woot is well not available here in TN. Its a simple website and everyday is a new surprise!

One of my great hobbies is knitting and I have found https://www.ravelry.com it is amazing! You can find so many patterns, different types of yarn, see what people have made with certain yarn, post your own pictures, well to wrap it up anything knitted or crocheted can probably be found on this great site!

I really enjoy the going to the gym and finding great workouts to follow and this site http://www.sparkpeople.com is awesome, its great for newbies to exercising to extreme gurus. You can track your progress, set goals, read articles, find some great recipes, also join groups to help keep you motivated and have it design a workout for you if you wish. Check it out if you want to kick start your exercise program again or just to add something new!

http://www.iamplify.com/ This website has a variety of Mp3 to download. I personally use them for more fitness stuff, but they offer loads of different things. I have purchased some of the meditation downloads, yes i did say purchase. That is the one somewhat downside of this site you must purchase the mp3s you want but the ones I have gotten are good and well worth the money. They also work very well with Ipod and pretty sure they are good with any mp3 device. There is not much more I can say about this site so just check it out!

Last but not least I do enjoy http://nashville.craigslist.org/ you can post items, services to sell, trade totally free of charge. You can also find things that you may need, jobs posted, real estate, services, community events, you name it and its probably there. Sometimes its a good site for a laugh as we can see not everyone double checks what they post and can really make us think! The missed connections are always a bit of fun to read in the middle of the night when nothing else is going on! (yeah I know there is better things to do!)

Well those are my favorite websites that I normally go to everyday, there are a few others that I am sure everyone knows about so I thought I would leave those out.

I would love to know what sites you enjoy and a bit of a description of what it entails! Lets share what we enjoy about the net!

I have well over 100 websites bookmarked but few that I go to everyday. Those who know me probably can guess the number one site I visit, but I use Google Alerts and end up going to a bunch of sites each day to review search results.

From that, I usually end up bookmarking a site or two, which is why my list keeps growing. I really need to go back to many and purge them. Some may not even operate any more.

I like ravelry and sparkpeople, too.

I also love flickr, facebook and random crafty blogs (Posie Gets Cozy is my favorite). Oh, and televisonwithoutpity.com and gofugyourself.com are favorites, too.

I would like for everyone to check out www.bootsonground.com. It gives great info on how to communicate with a soldier in Iraq or Afghanistan, which is important since our local guard unit has been mobilized.

Handymanwire.com. I use it for help on home repair projects I need right away and also just read it in case a problem may come up in the future. Got help fixing my pressure washer just the other day. May have saved many $$$$. :)
