A new "twist" on the Bible Theme ParkPosted Monday, May 5, 2008, at 8:05 PM
According to an article on the Tennessean's web-site, the developer of this park has a past career of "developing" other things...namely photographs of the "Pet of the Month" in Penthouse magazine. Mr. Bible-Park...err...Amnon Bar-Tur, used to be a photographer for Bob Guccione's esteemed publication. Maybe he should have had a theme park based on that career. It might have actually passed.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think that Rutherford County should shoot this down on the basis of his past endeavors, there are plenty of other reasons that they should shoot it down. I still can't believe this idiot developer thinks that this venture would be a world class attraction. Maybe a world class joke that Rutherford Co would be stuck with.
I would really like to see a theme park back in Middle Tennessee for all to enjoy of any kind without having to drive 4 hours for a family outing.I just hope the right investors and management can pull it off for all to enjoy.
