PUBLIC NOTICE OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BOARD OF THE CITY OF SHELBYVILLE Notice is hereby given to all residents of the City of Shelbyville, Bedford County, Tennessee, and to all persons interested that a meeting of the Industrial Development Board of the City of Shelbyville (the “Board”) will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018, at 12:00 p.m., at Courtroom at City Hall Annex, 109 Lane Parkway, Shelbyville, Tennessee. At such meeting, there will be a public hearing and possible action regarding the following: 1.Holding a public hearing for the purpose of receiving public comment concerning the consideration of tax abatement through the Payment in-Lieu-of Taxes Program with Calsonic Kansei North America, Inc., a Tennessee corporation, for their corporate headquarters facility located at One Calsonic Way, or other Company locations, in Shelbyville, Bedford County, Tennessee. The public hearing is intended to provide a reasonable opportunity for interested persons to express their views, both orally and in writing, on the proposed Payment in-Lieu-of Taxes Program and the nature of the facilities. 2.Giving final approval to the aforesaid tax abatement and all necessary documents executed in connection therewith, and authorizing the officers of the Board to execute the delivery of documents in connection therewith. 3.Considering such other matters as may properly come before the meeting.
