City of SHELBYVILLE Tennessee COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE The City of Shelbyville will hold a public meeting, at 4:30 PM on Thursday July 26 at the City Hall Annex (109 Lane Parkway) to discuss the Community Block Grant (CDBG) Program Façade Improvement Program administered by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the guidelines of the program and to solicit input from downtown building owners and/or building tenants regarding potential uses of CDBG funds for façade improvements in the Shelbyville downtown district. Potential uses of grant funds must be for permanent improvements such as signage, awnings, display windows, doors, entryways, painting and other exterior work. All building owners or tenants with projects are encouraged to attend this meeting or mail suggestions to the Shelbyville Department of Planning and Community Development, 201 N. Spring Street, Shelbyville, TN 37160. The City of Selbyville does not discriminate. The location of the meeting is accessible to persons with disabilities.
