My Wish (05/18/12)
This school year has escaped us, literally flown by with its up and downs and most importantly with its memories. The Community High Seniors' last day was Friday, May eleventh; it was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and tears -- a day that will be engraved into the back of the Seniors' minds for the better part of the rest of their lives.
Preparing for the ACT as the school year winds down (03/28/12)
Here in the last week at Community High School, we've bitten our nails to nubs, rubbed our erasers bare, and written until our pencils were dull. Preparing for the ACT is no small task. The teachers put in just as much work behind the scenes as we did, and that's a side the students don't see. Just as we spent hours at home studying, they spent hours figuring out just what to say to benefit us the most...

All the time here at Community High School we hear announcements about our prestigious band. I don't think many students really pay much attention to, or even care about the band, but they are missing out. Our band is superior to most, and please understand I'm not raging on with a big head without justification. ...

Order in the court! (12/28/11)
Most students have witnessed a trial in some form or another, maybe though real life situations or from a movie or television show. Some may even be semi-familiar with the legal lingo involved, but few know the true in's and out's of the courtroom. Though this week at Community High School, students in Mr. Garrette's government class have had the personal opportunity to step foot into the courtroom and attend the mock trial of Tracy Rose...
