Kindergarten: Aden Bravo, Lydia Kendrick, Dakota Kluge, Haley Salyer, Emmanuel Carrillo, Keaton Woodard and Zachary Waters. First grade: Carrigan Salyer, Asher Tucker, Lily Waterson, Ciera Moyer and Gabriella Oropeza. Second grade: Sidney Matthews, Brooklyn Bromley, Karley Waggoner and Caleb Adams. Third grade: Cameron Grogan, Hailey West, Ruben Juarez Vazquez and Thaddius Houston. Fourth grade: Eduardo Cordova, Steven Steele, Andrea Navarro and Kevin Jimenez-Mendez. Fifth grade: Tralen Smith, Tiffany Vera-Luna, Ridwan Barre, Kahmya Scheaffer and Nautika Keith.

Bedford County resident Ike Farrar visited Moore County High School last week to speak to students about his World War II experiences. Farrar, who was already in training at the time of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, flew C47 and C46 military transport planes in the Pacific theater. He brought memorabilia to show the students. Farrar's fellow Flat Creek resident Inge Wood brought her home-schooled children to the event as well.
