The Shelbyville Lions Club is in the process of completing its annual eye screening for local day cares, kindergartens and fourth-grade students in various Bedford County schools as a part of its commitment to sight conservation. The testing screens for color vision and visual acuity, and is able to alert parents and teachers to visual problems so that corrective measures may be taken to enhance the child's success in school.
