The United Methodist Women of First United Methodist Church on the square discussed plans for their annual luncheon and bazaar, Nov. 16 at the church. The luncheon, featuring turkey and side dishes, has been a tradition at the church for decades. Tickets for the luncheon are $12, available from any UMW member. Parking will be available at Big Springs Shopping Center, with a shuttle to transport diners back and forth to the church. The bazaar, held at the same time as the luncheon, features a variety of hand-made and other items for purchase. For more information, call the church at 684-2535. (T-G photo by John I. Carney)
