The Collision Repair Technology (CRT) program at Tennessee College of Applied
Technology-Shelbyville was awarded a donation of 50 uniforms from the Collision Repair
Education Foundation Makeover Grant. The uniforms were presented by the Mitchell
Foundation to the CRT students on Wednesday. CRT instructor Eric Brown, far left, and
his students are pictured with Pauline Perenack, center, and Joe Sucher, far right, of
the Mitchell Foundation.
Representatives of Black and Blue Sports spoke at Eakin Elementary School during Career Week. Deborah Nelson and Ann Sweeney spoke to the students about their everyday
jobs like screen printing and embroidering for T-shirts and hats. Students in 1st through 4th grades were able to create their own t-shirt design. A winner from each grade will be
