This brave little fellow had no fear of us lumbering humans as he walked up to this photographer and made several attempts at climbing up his leg! Instead, this baby squirrel had to settle for a photo shoot, sniffing the iPhone that was just mere inches away. Even after this encounter, the little critter still tried to jump on the photographer's shoes and pants legs, seemingly looking for a new friend or mother.

Participants in Saturday's poker run, sponsored by the Liberty Lions Club to raise money for Thanksgiving dinners, leave the VFW on Depot Street Saturday morning. Club president Tony Jackson said 23 families were each given a $100 gift card with proceeds from last year's run and organizers were hoping to beat that number this year.
