Walt Wood (left), CEO of the Shelbyville-Bedford County Chamber of Commerce, was welcomed to the weekly meeting of the Shelbyville Rotary Club by Rotarian Rex Northcutt. Wood reported that three business prospects have visited the area in the past month, and that the Industrial Development Board is actively seeking proposed property to locate a business park. Wood challenged members to continue supporting The Celebration and the Tennessee Walking Horse, which are beloved parts of Bedford County and important aspects of the local economy.
