Cascade High School Seniors were invited to a drive through event Wednesday morning to pick up any belongings, the yearbooks and to say goodbye to teachers and staff. As the train from downtown Bell Buckle whistled in the distance, students pulled their vehicles to the back of the school to get their orange Champions signs for their yards. Incidentally, there are three students in the senior class with the first name of Bryce; their last names are Ware, Williams, Way. There was a Jostens box sitting on the curb which stated: “From Jostens with Love.” One student said everything's OK, despite COVID-19, to do his last event at school this way. He drove away smiling. Formal graduation ceremonies will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, at Calsonic Arena. School officials are working on instructions as to how graduation will be conducted this year. A school counselor said the day was sentimental to her, because she's known these seniors many years. “I miss them so much,” she said.
