Cascade High School celebrated their annual prom this weekend, with festivities being held Saturday night at the Doubletree Hotel in Murfreesboro. The T-G invited students to share their photos. Sara Cloud and Blake Stone are seen here.

Bedford County Mayor Eugene Ray received the Refiners' Gold Award Lifetime Achievement from the Daughters of Deborah. The organization cited Ray's "outstanding service and leadership." Ray was also presented with a floral arrangement.

Claire Garrell of Petersburg was recently elected Governor of 4-H Congress in Nashville. She is the daughter of George and Jeanie Garrell, and the granddaughter of Russell and Lucile Sorrells of Bell Buckle.
