Representatives of the Bedford County Sheriff's Department, Brian Farris and Tony Barrett, were recent guests at the Shelbyville Rotary Club. They presented an enlightening program concerning "Cyber Crime," its effect upon citizens, and the challenges faced by law enforcement professionals. Shelbyville Rotary Club is a proud supporter of First Choice Pregnancy Center, and will participate again by contributing to their annual Fist Fry. This fundraiser will be held on Saturday, May 12 at the home of Barry and Pam Cooper. Club President Brian Nerren presented Rotarian Cooper with a check, and encouraged Rotarians to attend. Cascade High School Key Club members pose with their two first-place trophies won at the recent Kentucky-Tennessee district convention in Chattanooga. The club entered the video contest for the first time and received first place for their submission, directed by Lawrence Parawan.
