Amerikus Jacobs and Alexis McKay proudly show off their Southside Elementary 2012 yearbooks, which were created by art teacher Andrea McTigue, arrived last week and they were a big hit with the students. Teachers allowed the students time to have classmates to sign each others books.

Mail carriers collected 6,400 pounds of food during the Help Stamp Out Hunger Postal Food Drive that was given to Good Samaritan last week. "The generosity of the people in this community is overwhelming," said Good Samaritan Director Cathy Miller. Here, carrier Pat Williams shows a donation.
