Local business owners got in the act this week, celebrating high achievement by students on TCAP tests. David Orr, of D & J Limo, gave 27 students a ride from Learning Way to the local Dairy Queen, where owners Tony and Demetra Clanton served free cold treats. Tire & Muffler USA at 1117 N. Main is celebrating its 14th year in business and between May 25 and June 2, all tires will be sold at cost during those seven days. There will also be drawings for two sets of tires, a free oil change, an alignment, a set of Michelin jumper cables and a Michelin bobble head as well.
