This Morris 12, a British automobile built in the mid 1930's, is just one of hundreds of rare and classic cars on display at the Celebration grounds Friday and Saturday for the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Grand National show, and as the Southeastern Special Fall Meet. Proud owners of these vehicles were streaming into the ground Thursday in preparation for the weekend's events. Admission to the shows on both days is free to the public.

Sharon Werner discovered, literally, a huge surprise when she went to work in her garden yesterday. "I pulled back a pumpkin leaf and I saw this. It scared me half to death," she laughed. Werner, who lives on Hwy. 130 West, said she's fairly new to gardening, but has never seen anything like this squash or zucchini. "I'm from Las Vegas, so we don't garden there." She had checked her garden just two days prior to this discovery, and the vegetables were normal size, she said. The massive growth spurt likely came so quick due to the recent rain.
